So I should start out by saying that I am phobic of the dentist, not like I dislike it….full on anxiety attack phobic. I had been twice, to two different places in the course of the last 15 years and although I needed work done never went back. From the initial consultation to now(I am about half way done with all the work) they have been amazing. Never once have made me feel bad for being a grown man and not being responsible. They have turned what is usually a panic inducing experience into something I will now keep up on regularly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Simmon’s Dental Group has an amazing staff! They are professional and always treat patients with the upmost respect. I have been going to Dr. Gerald 13+ years and he is an amazing dentist. He has excellent work ethics and current with the latest dental procedures. His doctor patient relationship is excellent as well. Upon entering the dental group, one is immediately greeted with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend this dental group!

Having dealt with my fair share of dentist I am happy to say my family and I finally found a good one. He was recommended to me by a friend and they weren’t kidding he is wonderful. Real Pro is all I can say. Being a old dog in the game I know Dr. Simmons is on the ball. It is hard to find a dentist; I know all too well because everyone is different. Staff is too notch and very kind. Personally I am having a lot of work done there so join the fun because that tooth is not going to get any better. There is nothing to fear but fear itself.. Price is good realize these things cost and that is just how it is. Well educated , way smarter than I. Not much more can be said. Just very good all around. Less pain than most I find. Most of all they listen… You got medical issues or something they will listen and know. That is just so wonderful..

I have been with this dentist office since I was a kid they did all my orthodontics back when they did braces as well as all my cleaning and preventive care. The dentist are amazing and so are the staff, they are always extreamly helpful and just want what’s best for the patient. I suggest anyone looking for an amazing dentist that does amazing work with amazing staff to help along the way to go to Simmons. You will not regret it!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Gerald Simmons for over 23yrs. He has always been the most honest, meticulous, kindest and fastest dentist I have ever had. Work done by him (and his father before him, over 30yrs ago), has held up as good today as when it was new. Anyone else who ever looked in my mouth in an emergency, was always impressed with the work that was done by them. (That is always a good sign of excellence to me!) There have been many options available to me for treatment, and they were discussed and planned over the long term. I have never been dictated to or made to feel that I don’t count in my own treatment, but his advice has never failed me. It is a quite drive from Santa Monica to Palmdale, but when you find someone who is as excellent at what they do as he is, it is always like the drive to a friends home…never too long, and you are always happily greeted when you arrive!

This dental group is amazing! I have only had excellent visits here. I do not like going to the dentist. This office family is professional and cares about the individual. I needed extensive work done and Dana without a word from me put a pillow under my head. She said she could see I was uncomfortable. She anticipated my needs and helped me before I asked. Amazing! I have neck and back injuries and she helped me tremendously. The doctor was excellent. I would recommend them highly.

I was in excruciating pain and having just moved to the Antelope Valley I did not have a dentist to visit. I had called quit a few offices and was turned away. The caring and concerned staff of Simmons Dental took the time and made the effort to work my in without a appointment to releave my pain. I have been a loyal patient for the past 18 year’s and would highly recommend them.

Listening, Explaining, and Caring - A practice built on old fashioned values: treating you as we would like to be treated! Dr. Gerald has been working here, in Palmdale, since 1983, first with his father and brother and now with just his brother. "One of my greatest pleasures I have as a dentist is getting to know my patients as people. I don't agree with the current trend of depersonalization in the health professions that has occurred with the boom of HMO's, PPO's, Obamacare and large corporation owned dental offices. Time spent talking with patients is not 'wasted time'." Dr. Gerald graduated from the University of Southern California in 1976. He received his dental training from the University of London graduating in 1981 with a degree that allows him to practice in over 20 countries. He became a dentist because of his desire to help people. "All dental care should be a comfortable, rewarding experience and I will do whatever I can to make sure it is." In order to stay current, Dr. Gerald takes continuation education courses in all fields of dentistry. He is fully experienced in all phases of general dentistry including cosmetics, crown and bridge, endodontics, Invisalign braces, periodontics and "anchor tite" dentures.. "Staying current allows me to offer the best dentistry has to offer, so you receive the best possible care." Dr. Gerald is married with 2 daughters. He is the author of “How I beat depression without drugs and you can too,” and he writes for “FDJ”, the dental journal for the Royal College of Surgeons in the U:K. In his spare time he writes novels. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the San Fernando Dental Society.
