Until you have visited several dentists for similar work/procedures, it can be very difficult to compare dentists. The general rule is that if the dentist is pleasant, does not cause undue pain or perform noticeably bad work, they are ‘good’. Of the more than 10 dentists that I have visited in the past 4 decades, only Dr. Kristen DeBonis earns an “outstanding”. She holds herself to a higher standard of both patient comfort and perfection in her work.

Skymarks dental took the time to make the visit a safe one. I greatly appreciate that. Clean and beautiful office. Staff was extremely personable and caring. I had a really great experience here! This office has some really cool high-tech stuff that I am not used to. The dental hygienist takes photos of each tooth individually and there is a big screen in front of you in the treatment room for you to view all the photos and even your x-rays. The cleaning was great, I felt comfortable the whole time. The fluoride was a little sticky but the flavor was good. The staff was friendly from the clerk, hygienist, and the dentist. Probably one of the cleanest, updated, and high tech offices I have ever been in.

Dr. Christine Bojaxhi and her team are hands down the best dental group in all of Jacksonville. Whenever I go there, Dr. Bo makes me feel like I am the only patient she has in life. She is very personable, attentive and very, very caring. Her assistant, Dana, is the most awesome dental tech to ever don a pair of scrubs. Before coming to them, I put off going to the dentist for years. Now, I actually enjoy getting my teeth clean – who does that! It’s all due to Dr. Bio and her staff. If you are looking for a good dental home – go to Skymarks in River City – on the Northside. You won’t be disappointed!!!

My first visit was surprisingly amazing. I have a lot of dental issues and I was apprehensive in starting a new doctor. Dr. De Bonis’ staff were very nice, knowledgeable and put me totally at ease. For once I actually felt I got the right place. After their expert initial reviews, Dr. De Bonis examined me and then sat down and actually talked to me. Wow, that was different. She told me specifically what she could do, and even recommending several options. Then her staff again put all that in writing including cost estimates minus what my insurance would pay. I am thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and taking their time making me feel comfortable and not only telling what I needed but showing me. Always a great experience! This time my hygienist was Jessica who made me feel welcomed and comfortable during the entire visit. It can be hard to get to know the dentist team when you don’t get to talk a lot due to equipment in your mouth, but we shared our love for animals and I felt comfortable with her right off the bat. I love Dr. DeBonis!!! I appreciate her comprehensive exams and honesty with me. This visit, she recommended I see a specialist for an issue that may need further work up. The issue may not be anything, but she wanted to be safe which is thoughtful. I’m glad to know they take things seriously and are looking out for me so I don’t have tooth pain later on. I really appreciate her referral and care! Everyone at this facility is polite and friendly. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I woke up with an abscess tooth. I called and they were able to see me the same day. I’m thankful they were able to schedule me in, as I was in some pain. The staff was nice and the office was very clean. They had a procedure in place since the COVID-19 pandemic is still currently on going. Everyone wore masks including myself. The front desk was very friendly and helpful when I checked in. The Dental Assistant was very friendly as well and got me back quickly. Then the Hygienist that saw me “Mo” was very informative about the deep cleaning she recommended and even tried to work me into her schedule for same day. Unfortunately I had to get on the road and could not stay today. Then Dr. DeBonis was also very informative and went into great detail with the treatment I need and the reason behind needing to see a specialist for some of the work. I was very pleasantly amazed with the safety precautions that were in place during my visit. The entire staff wore facemasks and/or faceshields and they were wearing them properly. Hand sanitizer was available and they sprayed my hands upon entering plus so many other precautions were in place from before I entered the building until I left the building. And as always, everyone on the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are always punctual which I believe is a sign of respect for their clients. I have never had a bad experience there and I highly recommend them.

I am terrified of all dentists and always have been and as soon as I walked in the staff was so nice and made me feel so at ease. I had my top teeth pulled 8 years ago somewhere else so I just need my bottoms extracted and a full set of dentures . I am a very very jumpy nervous person and my mouth is in such bad shape that u can barely touch any Part of it and they were so gentle and understanding. They have a very thorough process to make sure your dentures are a perfect fit so they will b comfortable. And I have a heart condition and yes I have to have a release form signed from my doctor but a lot of dentist said they weren’t equipped for such things . So I know I’m in great hands and I feel safe with skymarks. And if u hate those huge fingers most male dentists have like I do these are both female dentists with gentle hands and amazing at their job. And the young man that runs the front office us the absolute best. He was so helpful from the minute I walked in my first time..

What a great experience, it was like talking to family only nicer. They explained the process from start to finished answering any questions either my husband or I had. Prior to having a number of teeth removed they went about getting my dentures prepared from what color I want the gums and teeth. Wanted my dentures to look as normal as possible and boy do they you can’t tell. This was so that after said teeth were removed I could walk out with them to help my mouth heal. As mouth healed I needed to get some adjustments which are normal. The women at the front desk were very patient and helpful with getting me into see them as soon as possible. Very helpful, and knowledgeable.
