My mouth was a mess through years of bad dental care while living abroad. I consulted with Dr. McNeill who was absolutely wonderful. She has a professional and friendly practice, and I always felt comfortable throughout all my treatments. Dr. McNeill demonstrated an extremely high standard of care during every interaction. I am delighted with the results of my full mouth reconstruction that Dr. McNeill performed, and I love my new smile. Considering all the treatments I received, the overall cost was very competitive and well worth it. I would highly recommend Dr. McNeill, specifically from the perspective of her incredible dental aesthetic work, the competitive cost of the treatments, and the fact that she has given me back a healthy mouth, and a great smile.

I posted this 4 years ago, apparently, but this remains accurate today. This is by far the best dental office out there! I would not trust my smile to anyone other than Dr. McNeill; it’s that simple. Her staff is wonderful as well. I have been their patient for years and will not go to any other place. They may not be the cheapest, which matters if you do not have dental insurance, but I feel that one’s smile is not a place to try and save a buck; you get what you pay for, and this office is worth every penny; they really know what they are doing.

Exceptional service and care!! I sought help from Dr McNeill because a prior dentist put crowns on my front teeth which were dreadful, and because I had TMD issues which were not resolved even though I have seen numerous dentists over the years. Dr McNeill has patiently worked with my bite and adjusted it to a perfect fit. The benefits I’ve seen include: no more migraines, no more daily morning headaches, I breathe easier at night (my sinuses always felt closed), and I eat more comfortably (I no longer have to take a sip of water after every bite of food). However the totally unexpected benefit is no more restless legs!! I never dreamed my RLS of 10 years was caused by TMD. And on top of all of this, I now have a beautiful smile. Thank you Dr McNeill and staff.

I was reading the bad reviews and I find them unbelievable. Karen McNeil has been my dentist for close to 10 years. I went to her when I was having a problem with my teeth and several dentists before her couldn’t or wouldn’t fix it. They thought it was more profitable to keep putting new caps on and charging me thousands of dollars. Karen did research, x-rays, and measurements and resolved the problem. She’s very pro-active and I like that about her. I don’t know who this Jessica is, but every time I enter that office everyone goes out of their way to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. They feel like family to me. Everyone is harping about how expensive she is but duhhhh….dentists are expensive. At least she didn’t put me on that “I’ll just give you a new crown for 2,000” merry go round like several other area dentists did. Dr McNeil is a great dentist with a wonderful practice!

I received exceptional care and service at Smile Artistry. I was looking for a dentist who could help me. I was looking for someone with outstanding care and knowledge to finally help me and fix my teeth and TMD I had developed for years. I called and scheduled appointment to meet with Dr McNeill for consultation. She gave me a treatment plan that fit my needs and budget. I received exceptional service form Dr McNeill and her staff, I have the perfect smile now! Thank you Dr Mc Neill and staff!

I have been seeing Karen at Smile Artistry dentistry for over a decade. For those who demand excellence, Karen is amazing. Every time I come into the office, I get all my concerns addressed and receive all the information I need to keep up my home-care routine. Karen has a beautiful office in Redmond that makes me feel very comfortable . You could almost take a nap during your cleaning. Very friendly and knowledgeable hygienists assist her, and always with a smile. I would strongly suggest Karen for anyone who wants to go the extra mile for their dental needs!

Dr. McNeill replaced 2 veneers that I had done at a different office years ago. The lab they used didn’t match color perfectly. Instead of accepting anything less than perfect, Smile Artistry made sure a better match was sent right away. I am very happy with the results. As experts in cosmetic dental work, they made sure to reflect that high standard.

Warm neck pillows, blankets and great tunes-just begins to tell you how much i love it here for my dental work. have been a patient for ten years and i have had everything from cleaning to root canals to invisalign and whitening. I’m a bonafide freaker-outer at the dentist normally, and have had a great experience here. Don’t tell anyone, but when it’s just me in the office they let me bring my dog in.

Dr. McNeil is great and has a wonderful practice. My old dentist i felt just poked and scrapped my teeth every 6 months and that was it. I wanted a dentist who was more proactive at seeing problems and identifying them before they get into an emergency situation and then it would really cost a lot of money! Unlike my old dentist, she uses WAY better technology and equipment that is actually made in the past decade! She is great at identifying potential issues, like cavities, and take preventive actions and offers honest opinions. The staff is friendly and makes conversation with you – even with your mouth hangin’ wide open. I think the most important thing is finding a dentist that not only you trust, but is looking out for the care and long term healthy of your teeth. I know health care can be expensive but that is why its important to make sure you know your plan and coverage so there are no surprise bills and going in network. Unlike some of the other reviews, I’ve never felt pressured into doing dental work. I actually came from another dentist who recommend me all this dental work and went to Dr. McNeil for a second opinion who proved that most of them were bogus.

I’ve been having major dental work for the past 2 months and I’m at the end tail of it. I’m so pleased with what I have seen and so grateful for the staff ALL of them. They know how to take care of their patients!! Smile Artistry is very caring, so helpful with all my craziness (hehe). I would recommend anyone to Dr. McNeil she has been there for me whenever I needed her. Best work I have seen in many many years.

I love Smile Artistry! All the front desk staff are so friendly and helpful! Brie is THE BEST hygienist ever!!! My friends and I have been seeing her for decades and I can’t say enough good things about her techniques; she is gentle and let’s you know exactly what she is doing. She also happens to be one of the nicest people on the planet! Dr. Mcneill is super nice, friendly and really cares about her patients and her work!!! You even get a one on one phone with her! This office is so professional and very patient focus .

I don’t know what office the people below went to when they posted these awful reviews, but I went to this office after my friend told me about the great experience she had there. I think I speak for most consumers when I say I go to places my fiends or family recommend. When I scheduled my appointment the the lady on the phone was so nice. I came in and was offered an espresso while I waited. Never have a had one of those offered at a dental office. The lady who cleaned my teeth was very nice and talked to me like I was a person and not a pocketbook. She told me what I needed done, but was not pushy about it. I told her I would do now later and some in a few months once my finances were in order and she said that was fine. She did make sure I understood what might happen if I did not get my things fixed sooner than later. I left with a clean mouth and a clear understanding if next steps for the healthy well being of my mouth. Being in sales I need to have a nice smile with my appearance. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. McNeill and Smile Artistry and her staff for your next dental appointment, cleaning, or great cup of joe. 😉 !!!!!!!

I am a recent transplant to Seattle from Houston and was a bit nervous about finding a dentist that was as good as the one I had back home for the last 11 years. I was very lucky to find Dr. McNeill and her team at Smile Artistry! I called in to their office and was able to schedule an appointment for a cleaning with their hygienist, Bree for the following week. Upon arriving at their offices I was greeted by a smiling and attentive front desk staff who helped get me checked in. I was about 15 minutes early for my appointment so I had a seat in their rather luxurious and calming waiting room and was offered a choice of water, coffee, or tea while I waited. It wasn’t but 5 minutes until I was brought in and seated at the exam chair. Erin, one of the attentive dental assistants, offered to me a warm pillow and donned me with the lovely dental bib and glasses and made sure I was comfortable and introduced me to Bree who would be doing my cleaning. Bree is simply the best hygienist that I’ve had! She was gentle but thorough, took her time, and explained everything she was doing in terms that I could understand. After she was finished she brought in Dr. McNeill for an exam that uncovered a few cavities and a fractured tooth. I was a bit shocked because my previous dentist didn’t find them before and it was explained that because my previous dentist had not used the advanced technology that Smile Artistry uses, my previous dentist could not have detected the cavity until much later. I was able to have a much less invasive procedure done to fix the cavity which would save me considerable expense and pain. I am very happy to rate Smile Artistry with 5 stars! The entire staff made me feel comfortable, welcome, and confident from beginning to end. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. McNeill and her staff looking after my dental health.

Dr. McNeill has taken care of my teeth for many years and I have been very happy with my dental care. I recently had a tooth ache and her team got me in that same day and performed a diligent check of my tooth, diagnosed and treated the problem and gave me a number to call in case I had additional pain over the weekend. Thank you to Dr. McNeill and her team for their top-level care!

I have been an extremely satisified patient of Dr. McNeill’s for 5 years now. In contrast to the few negative reviews posted here I have never experienced anything but the most professional, kind, and competent service from Dr. McNeill and her staff. I came to her after my previous dentist recommended I have extensive cosmetic work done to repair some damage to my front teeth. Dr. McNeill is one of the most highly trained, experienced cosmetic dentists in the region. She has run a successful practice for over 20 years and I wanted an opinion from the very best. After she examined my records and situation, she assured me that my teeth were in overall excellent condition and the damage easily repairable. Due to her advanced training and extensive experience, she was able to save me many thousands of dollars of unnecessary veneers and preserve my original teeth to the best condition possible. She has also invested in the latest digital and ultrasound technology. I appreciate having state of art equipment available for x-rays, exams, and cleaning. Her staff have always been friendly and well trained. One of the many advantages using a boutique practice such as Dr. McNeill’s is that her service is highly personalized and scheduling is flexible. Many times I have been able to reschedule appointments at the last minute due accommodate my needs. My children also enjoy their visits as they are able to watch movies during treatments using Dr. McNeill’s special video glasses! Her services may not be the cheapest around. If you are looking for bargain basement dental care as apparently some of the previous postings indicate – then look to one of the many dental factories advertising in the area. No doubt you can find a recent dental school grad with little experience or training who will do the work for cheap. If instead you want the best possible care using the latest technology, a highly trained, experienced professional with top notch staff, and the personalized attention that comes with a selective practice, then I enthusiastically recommend Dr. McNeill and Smile Artistry.

Recently I had 10 porcelain veneers done by Dr McNeill of Smile Artistry. I can’t stop smiling something I was embarrassed to do. I get so many compliments , I wish I’d done it sooner. This dental office made my experience so easy. I knew they weren’t the cheapest going in but this is my smile and I’d waited a long time with kids and braces, finally it was my turn and I wanted the best. I had the incredible pleasure of having my teeth cleaned by Brie the hygienist at Smile Artistry she did an amazing job taking all of my x-rays without making me have my gag reflex kick in (a huge feat). Being a teeth grinder during my sleep for many many years and having been told by multiple dentists I should get a mouth guard (me thinking it was just a sales tactic) Dr. McNEill actually took the time to explain, show me exactly where I’ve already worn down certain areas and I finally get out of my denial and got my mouth guard. High Five to Dr. McNeill and her amazing team. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends and I’m certainly going back.
