I have heard of this office many times and have seen it on google in my local area, so I finally decided to check it out. When I walked into their office; my first impression was that the facility is clean and organized. Then I met the staff and they were absolutely amazing, all kind individuals, especially Dr. Viernes, she is terrific. I have been to many dentists offices throughout my life and have talked to many dentists, but Dr. Viernes is one of the most sophisticated and knowledgeable dentists I have ever had. Pleased with my results from this dentist and will definitely be coming back in the future.

She uses modern-day technology and understands the importance of advancement; I typically find that older dentists are more stuck in the older ways, but Dr. Viernes talked to me about many different options for getting work done on my teeth and advanced ways to make my teeth truly stand out when I smile. Indeed some procedures might cost a pretty penny, but hey, you get what you pay for. Pleased with my results from this dentist and will definitely be coming back in the future.

I have been a patient of Dr Viernes and her crew for over five years now. The service I get is always superb. They’re very professional, friendly and patient oriented. Dr Viernes always explains the procedures that are needed to be done clearly before she proceeds. Her hygienist, Marian is the only hygienist I don’t dread to work on my teeth. She does magic to bring your big smile back! The supporting staff is just as helpful and accomodating. If not for this clinic, I would probably be wearing full dentures now.

When I went to this office they were really friendly and knowledgeable. They told me what they were doing and why. I usually get nervous when going to the dentist but they made me feel comfortable. Dr. Viernes and her entire staff always so pleasant. I came in to do my annual cleaning since I haven’t been able to during this crazy pandemic! I saw Dr. Beth today, very nice. She told me I need to get crown in the front, yikes! Luckily My insurance will pay and my estimate is not too outrageous. Her assistant, I didn’t get her name (sorry), polished my “pearly whites.” She was very nice as well…. Dr. Viernes saw me and said hi. She thanked me for coming in. My next appointment is in a week to take care of my crown. They had the time and date I wanted. Which was a big relief. My husband starting coming here as well and he really enjoys the convenience. We are so fortunate to have Dr. Gina Viernes as our family dentist. Her office location in Waipahu is very convenient with ample free parking. Dr. Gina has taken care of the many dental procedures that our entire family has undergone–from a highly complex endosteal implant & metal based denture, to teeth fillings, teeth whitening, and routine teeth cleaning. Dr Viernes and her staff are amazing. She has the sweetest bedside manner and always takes the time to explain procedures and what needs to be done to my pearly whites. The office is always clean and she always has little snacks/green tea to make sure I’m not hungry after my appointment. Smile dental center always has the latest and greatest in technology from lasers to a 3D scanner/cerec same day crown machine. It’s nice to know that my dentist keeps up on the latest advancements in technology to know that I’m getting the best care possible.

Such a clean and friendly office! I have been going here since 2008. Dr. Viernes is the best! She is always furthering her education and certifications keeping up with the best and newest technologies. My fiance had an accident and cracked 3 front teeth. They were able to make his teeth look perfect again in one day! You can’t even tell they were cracked before. The before and after photos are in their office for everyone to see how awesome they are. Their hygienist Marian has the most gentle hands to clean your teeth without any pain! Sarah and Vivian are the ladies in the front and they’re so much fun to talk to. You’ll definitely be smiling when you leave Smile Dental 🙂 Also they are located adjacent to Pacific Supermarket which makes it convenient to go grocery shopping after.

Dr. Viernes continues to be the BEST, most compassionate dentist in the Island! Had a dental emergency and the office squeezed me in within a day. Squeezing me in meant I only had to wait 5 minutes, lol! Friendly staff and it’s a reflection of how Dr. Viernes treats her staff – she’s a class act, and so is her staff!
