Dr Datu and all of the staff have to be the best of the best ! very professional and some of the nicest people I have ever met !! Dr. Datu does beautiful work  does not try to sell you anything but the best. He does beautiful work in a timely matter and I love the office manager Nicole.  I would recommend them to all !!!

For those of you who don’t like going to the Dentist may I suggest Smile Gallery Dental in Orange. I am not a fan of dentists in general, but after 2 visits to Dr. Datu’s office I will make sure to go regularly. The staff is friendly and Dr. Datu knows how to make you feel at ease. He makes visits so easy to make.

Smile Gallery Dental is highly recommend by me!  I have been with Dr Datu for 23 years. My daughter and husband also gives to them. The office staff is great! They care, understand and also consider the patients first. I have to say when I first saw Dr Datu his office was in Doesn’t Ca. I too lived in Downey. When his office moved to Orange County I works travel to his office no matter how far he was. I would drive hours if needed to see Dr. Datu! One thing I like about Dr Datu is when he recommends work he lets you choose. He will tell you truthfully that we can do this or try that etc… He will tell you if you want to go this way the we will do that but I dint know how long your choice will last. He gives  you honest opinions. He also gives you the choice. I have had ever tooth crowned excepted the four front bottom teeth  by Dr. Datu. My teeth have held and look fabulous. He is genital  caring and understanding. I highly refer him and the great people in his office.

“I have been a patient of Dr. Datu for 22 years.  I first started going to Dr. Datu in the early years of his career when he was in Downey, CA.  My dental experience throughout the years with Dr. Datu and his staff has been excellent.  I have a very complicated dental situation, which requires very extensive and long term dental work, thus my selection of a dentist is more important to me than my selection of a medical Dr.  I have been very pleased with all of the treatment he has given me.  When I’ve had extensive or complicated procedures, Dr. Datu goes above and beyond to minimize pain and discomfort and has taken the time to call me personally to follow-up on my recovery and to let me know to call him immediately if I have any complications.  Dr Datu’s experienced staff is always cheerful and flexible, whether you need a fast appointment or to make a last-minute change in an appointment, they are always happy to assist you.  I have never had any problems with processing any of my dental insurance claims, they make it appear seamless.  I believe his dental fees are usual and customary for same or similar service.  Dr Datu’s qualifications and professional knowledge of advanced dentistry procedures is extensive.

The staff and Dr. Datu are awesome! My gums would bleed whenever I brushed my teeth. Previous dentists and doctors could not solve the issue. One basic cleaning treatment by Dr. Datu and my gums haven’t bleed while brushing since that cleaning and it has been 2 years! He’s great with kids too. My six year old likes coming to the dentist. I have tried many dentists through the years and Mr. David M. Datu, D.D.S. is by far the best. I have done a lot of research on what I should be able to expect from a dentist, and David Datu is the only dentist to accomplish this. He also speaks with confident assurance and his staff seem just as confident, kind and respectful. We will see what happens when all is said and done, but I think I have finely found a dentist I have confidence in after 20 years of searching!

Nobody really LOVES going to the dentist, but Dr. Datu’s office is filled with a very friendly staff that helps mitigate the fear one might have with being poked and prodded with dentist instruments. His staff is thorough and well trained. Dr. Datu always steers me straight and gives me sound advice. He truly is concerned with my overall oral hygiene. Now, it is up to me to do my part in between visits. Thank you guys

My daughter and I have been a patient of Dr. Datu before Smile Gallery Dental opened, we have been patients for 25 yrs. (sorry for the giveaway Dr. Datu) Dr. Datu was our dentist in Downey, and when I discovered that he was opening up his own dental practice in Orange, We had to follow him. I use to drive 40 minutes EACH WAY to see my best dentist. I have has so many bad dentist prior to him.  It’s worth the drive, gas, mileage, and time because Dr. Datu takes excellent care of you. I have had every one of my teeth worked on filled and crowned by Dr. Datu. My daughter luckily had mostly sealants and good care from him. His care over the years kept her lovely smile. One thing I have always loved about Dr. Datu and his staff is their family care as a person to you. They treat you as family. They always ask how you and your family are, and care to listen when you tell them your situations good or bad 🙂 Dr. Datu as allways been the best to me because he has never forced me to do a certain procedure or else. Raising my daughter on my own and low on money this was wonderful. He would always tell l me honestly we can do this or do that. He would be honest and say well I don’t know how long this will last if you try it, but we can try if that’s what you want! Again, considering me the patient and my income. You do not find that every day. Still to this day Dr. Datu cares for the you as a personal person and patient, not just another patient. He still helps me decided what’s best treatment to do for me personally. The office staff are all the best. I have laughed and cried with them over my personal situations, they are there for you like a relative not a person working in a office at the dentist. You cannot feel more comfortable at a dental office then at r Datu at Smile Gallery Dental,. My husband has now joined me in the past 13 yrs to see Dr. Datu’s and he too enjoys Dr. Datu’s and his colleagues personal caring personality. THAHNK YOU Smile Gallery Dental you make me smile. I consider my self a big chicken when it comes to going to the dentist which is why I’m so thankful for Dr. Datu and his entire smile gallery staff! I highly recommend anyone from children to seniors. They have been so kind and patient with me and all my fears. I was recommended by my mother-in-law who has been a patient of Dr. Datu’s for many years, I now bring in my four children too. We have all had great experiences. I’ve even made the leap of correcting a long over due cosmetic procedure of a chipped tooth that had yellowed over the years. My smile has never looked better. I found Dr. Datu and Smile Gallery after moving to Anaheim from the Bay Area a little over a year ago. My first appointment was just after the Christmas holidays when I lost part of a tooth. He was very professional and I was seen right away. I had a temporary crown within a day or so, and the permanent crown matches beautifully. His staff is caring and competent and they take care to explain what they’re doing; what your options are, and work with you to make sure you understand the financial implications of your choices. Both my husband and I will be staying with Dr. Datu.

I have been a patient of Dr. Datu for 22 years.  When I first moved to SoCal in 1987 I went to a dentist 2 times giving him the benefit of doubt. The office lost my file twice and I refused to go back. I called 1-800-dentist and explained my situation and they directed me to Dr. Datu (a new dentist just out of dental school) who had learned modern techniques and was very organized. He was always nice and gentle and his shots did not even hurt. Now that says a lot. I have total confidence in him and his staff since my dental experience with him has been superb. I am 62 and still have all of my teeth (except wisdom due to no room). Dr. Datu has worked with me saving my teeth one tooth at a time. I would highly recommend him to everyone. He and his staff always take time to explain to me my situation and help me make the decisions on which route I want to take

My mom chose Dr. Datu as our new family dentist and I’m so happy she did. His staff has always been very nice to me and my siblings. For the first time in a long time I don’t dread going to the dentist. Thank you Smile Gallery!

After searching for a dentist that i felt conformable with for years I tried Smile Gallery Dental and I have found my Dentist.  I have now  been patient of Smile Gallery Dental for a couple of years.  I found this Dr Datu and his staff  very professional, friendly and understanding.  Dr Datu goes into great detail of what options you have to take care of your dental needs or desires.  He is willing to take the time to answer any questions you may have and never makes you feel that you are wasting his time in answering them.  Dr Datu and his staff never make you feel as if they are rushing your dental work to get you out of the way for the next patient

I have been a patient for about 10 years now and highly recommend Dr Datu and staff. I once left for a dentist closer to home but came back to Dr Datu’s office as soon as I could. His office is friendly, efficient, caring, and clearly explain all treatments. They make you feel like family from the moment you walk in the door. 🙂

Hands down the best dentist I’ve been to. Dr. Datu is highly knowledgable, skilled, and professional. He and his whole staff are very friendly and take all the pain out of visiting the dentist, figuratively and literally. No better dentistry office in Southern California.

This dental office is excellent and uses state of the art procedures to protect your dental health. The Dr also teaches at the USC dental school so that indicates the level of expertise. They are quite friendly and I have found them to be thorough.

We absolutely love this dentist! He is the only one I will take my kids too. He is thorough and professional with his care and treatment. I drive from Corona to ensure my family gets the best dental care from Dr. Datu. There is no dishonesty with up billing or claiming that there is dentist work needed that isn’t legitimate. Trust me I have had my fair share of those kind of establishments. It’s worth my time to go to Dr. Datu whom I trust. I have had cosmetic to regular dentistry done by Dr. Datu including my children. Dr. Datu has also referred me to the best orthodontist Dr. Kawata for my son. Lastly, the Datu family treats their patients like family. You couldn’t ask for a better dentist!

His patient care &  knowledge of my dental history has been a benifit to my  long term health goals , he gives you the facts , the importance and allows you to decide – no big high pressure sales pitch – just reality& solutions . Hes not inexpensive – but hes worth the investment !!!
