Dr. Montoya is outstanding! I have PPO dental insurance plus I take exceptionally well care of my teeth. My advice: Don’t feel entitled to the best of materials if all you have is low income Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal and then blame it on the dentist when you don’t care for your teeth the way you should al year long. Take ownership of your bad habits! I have no idea why people complain about $ 200 dental bills and copays while they are willing to pay $ 800+ for iPhones. I have been going here since 2015 and I am as happy as I could be. I get treated very well because I have a positive attitude.

I adore this Dental establishment!!! Everyone is very informative, and extra patient with me. I’m such a big ball of nervousness when going to the dentist. Most professional and organized dentist visit I’ve ever had. The receptionist were very resourceful and helpful. The dentist was so nice and gentle with my teeth that I did not feel a thing . I had a wisdom tooth extraction done in under a minute. Highly recommend.

Wonderfully professional, friendly and gracious staff. Everyone does her job efficiently, knowledgeably, and with good humor. It is a lovely office. Never more than one or two people waiting in the office. They know how to schedule to get everyone in and out in good order. Dr. Montoya is very professional. She explains what needs to be done and has taught me good dental hygiene that no other dentist has every told me — and I am 59 years old.

The waiting room was packed and I at first I thought of that as a bad thing. Then I realized these are people that are either new patients like me or returning patients. Either way they chose Dr. Montoya office. When I met Dr. Montoya she introduced herself right away and had such a pleasant attitude the entire time. I’m the type that has a bunch of questions and Dr. Montoya and her team was eager to answer them all. I was very satisfied with not only the service but the prices as well and look forward to returning to Dr. Montoya for future service.

I love this place.. the staff are super nice and helpful they took the time to answer all my questions that I had about my insurance. I had worked done with Dr. Montoya and like any adult I was freeking out, (on the inside of course) but she made me feel relaxed and calm. I did not feel a thing which was great Im so pleased with the results. I love my smile its perfect !! :). I now take my two children who are 7 and 3. They both like going to see her, I like that I can be in the room with them the whole time. I didn’t think my 3 yr old was going let him self but Dr. Montoya was patient with him and he did very well on his own. Thanks Dr. Montoya and staff for every thing!!. I will recommend my family and friend to this office.

Came to see Dr Montoya for a second opinion and she was very informative, even provided additional information that my assigned dentist did not mention. However services that are OOP are quite expensive. There’s only one receptionist so it’s understandable why there’s a wait. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating.

I am kind of appalled by the comments . I have the biggest fear of the dentist !!!! But choosing and coming to this establishment was worth the fear. Everyone in the office made me feel comfortable , answered all of my questions and walked me through. Not to mention my extraction was fast and painless ! My tooth was all jacked up . First of all, I hate going to the Dentist, Doctor, etc. But I started going here when I first moved to LA. And I came here literally because it was 5 sec from my Apt. Their services are top-notch honestly, Always ask for Dr.Montoya, She’s my Fav. I go there every three months for cleaning (Cause of MY Stupid Braces) but Everytime I go, its a breeze and super smooth. She explains to me everything in detail so I can understand. Even had all 4 of my Wisdom teeth pulled, I could do it 10x again, easy. Breeze. A lot of people here are complaining about their prices, the ugly lobby, the crappy chairs, the horrible channels that are on the TV, and how its always cold in there, But this is a Dentist, in fact this is a really good dentist in a Shitty Location. I moved to west-Hollywood and I still go back there every time. I can easily find a “Better” dentist in my area but just like finding a Barber you like coming back every time for the past 5 years you just know. Bottom line if you wanna watch TV @ the dentist stay at home or go to the movies, if you wanna cheaper price go buy the DIY kit at CVS and clean your own teeth, if you wanna sit on silk chairs buy them yourself. But If you want 100% top of the Line Dentistry work done for you or your kids, I would take them here. Thats it. Good bye. If you read this far, I commend you for I am not a grammarian. 🙂

Dr. Montoya has been a god send and I am so incredibly grateful to have found hear so close by. I have brought my entire family here to see Dr. Montoya. She was incredibly gentle and that made me very comfortable. Her office staff was also incredibly professional and worked with me via phone and email to book appointments and were mindful of my time. When I arrived I was able to get seated quickly. I used to dread coming to the dentist and now I am happy when I book an appointment knowing I am getting the best treatment and that my family is too.

Dr. Montoya graduated with honors from San Marcos University School of Dentistry in Lima-Peru in 2001. In 2004 she attended USC School of Dentistry for a year of Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists and has dedicated her professional career to providing patients with outstanding dental care. Dr. Montoya is continually participating in advanced training and continuing education courses. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Los Angeles Dental Society, and founding member of the Peruvian American Dental Association. Dr. Montoya's goal is to provide quality services for her patients to achieve long term good dental health. She believes healthy and beautiful smiles can be possible with regularly scheduled appointments and proper preventive dental care.
