I’m so glad I went to Dr. Basson. It had been years since I’ve been to the dentist. there were small gaps in between my gums and quite a few teeth. I had been told by a previous Dentist It was because of me brushing to hard. Dr. Basson showed me a short video about how it could also possibly be because of my crooked teeth causing this. He filled in all the gaps. Something I wasn’t aware my insurance even covered for the fact that no other dentist had recommended filling them (only to use a soft bristle brush and not brush too hard) he let me know these fills will eventually start to become gaps again if I didn’t get my teeth straightened and that my insurance would only cover this procedure once every 3 years. He recommended Invisalign and gave me a reasonable quote and said he’d try and get them straightened within a 5-7 month period since they aren’t that severely crooked and to save money. I also didn’t wait for the numbing medicine to wear off and bit the inside of my cheek and lip and when I went back to get the left side done he gave me vitamin e capsules to help with my bit cheek. His assistant and front desk receptionist are also just as friendly, professional and helpful. I was 40 minutes late to my first appointment and they were still able to accommodate me and get me in quick. I can’t wait to save up half of the payment for the Invisalign to start getting my teeth straightened. I would highly recommend anybody to go to Dr. Bassons office

Very attentive and knowledgeable dentist. She always showed me the cavities on X-Rays and explained why I needed to do certain treatment. She also recommended using grinding guard which was very helpful! One of her receptionists is very sweet and caring (Hispanic girl). Another one (African American girl with straight hair) was constantly showing off her knowledge in front of the doctor and was mean to me. The doctor is great tho!

Fantastic doctor/patient interaction. Front desk staff was nice. Cleaning and X-ray was easy. Will need to come back for deep cleaning (damn you, gingivitis) but happy to have found a good dentist in the area! My first visit here, but I appreciate the recommendations for my dental care!

I’ve been going to this dental office for a while but now they have a new doctor so I decided to write another review. Dr Basson is a very sensitive and easily approachable professional. He explained me what treatment I needed to do and why, thus I didn’t feel confused or ripped off as in some other dental offices in the past. I noticed lots of new technology in the office that previous doctor didn’t have. Dental assistants in this office are also very polite and friendly. I haven’t found a better office so far and I have been to quite a few in Pasadena area

Dr. Basson and his team are great professionals! He is very sensitive and caring for his patients. He told me what I needed done and created a treatment plan for my dental care. He told me about insurance benefits that I didn’t even know I had! While working on my teeth cleaning he was very gentle and would check in to see how I was doing. In the past my old dentist did not do that nor was she gentle while cleaning my teeth which made me scared of the dentist. I’m glad I found Dr. Basson as my new dentist because I truly feel that he cares for his patients!

I was and always have been terrified of visiting a dentist. But since I was in a lot of pain I decided to visit Smile now dental practice. They set me up with Dr. Basson. I needed alot of work, as I feared deep cleaning, root canals, crowns, fillings, basically everything. He came up with a good treatment plan keeping my needs in mind.Post treatment my smile is better than it has been in my life..period!!! Staff/ Dr. are friendly, patient but thoroughly professional. I am thankful to Dr. Basson and his staff for an awesome experience
