I hate going to the dentist (the staff here can confirm this!!) putting off needed things way too long! I was pleasantly surprised at how professional they were even though I was very nervous. They were all patient and understanding, and I made it through my filling without any pain or discomfort. No pain the next day either. I would recommend them to anyone who asks!

I have always dreaded going to the Dentist since I was a child. Being reluctant to change, I had gone to the same dental group for probably 20 ++ years. But when they raised their rates and stopped taking my particular dental insurance, I found myself in the unfortunate position of needing a new dentist. A friend recommended Dr. Ammal at SmileAway Dentistry on Germantown Parkway and I’m glad they did. Everyone in her office was nice and cheerful which helped put me at ease. They were able to work me in when I stopped by after a tooth acted up over the weekend. .Dr. Ammal explained my issue, didn’t try to oversell me, and prescribed a course of action. The office had employed all the new necessary safeguards due to the Covid-19. I guess the only thing that would have made it better was if they had a box of puppies to play with in the outer office. Impractical I know but a fun idea.

SmileAway Dentistry has excellent customer service. Everyone greets you with a warm smile. No long waiting time. It means a lot when the dentist reaches out to her patients after a procedure. Thanks SmileAway!!!

I absolutely love Dr. Ammal and her staff!!! I initially called to make an appointment for my son in April on a Thursday. I spoke to Kim and she set the appointment up for Friday because my son couldn’t get off that day. She even told me to call her back if that day wouldn’t work for him and she would fit him in somewhere. I was like WOW! We’re new patients and Kim was working with my son’s schedule. My dentist was booked until that next Thursday but I was in a lot of pain so I just asked if they could possibly see me. She said yes can you be here at 11am? I said yes ma’am and I’ve been going there since. From the time I walked in, I was treated outstanding! I found out I needed 3 root canals on the same side and that’s why I was in so much pain. Shereka was the one who took my X-rays and she was so down to earth. I wasn’t nervous but being that it was a new dentist, I just didn’t know what to expect. Shereka made me feel so comfortable just by talking to her. She was funny but stayed professional and it was so welcoming! Dr. Ammal came and introduced herself first then she explained what needed to be done. She gave me antibiotics for the infections and pain pills and sent me on my way. That Friday evening, I received a call from Dr. Ammal herself just checking on me!! I was in awe because she took the time out of her evening just to check on me! As of today, I’ve had 2 root canals and Dr. Ammal has called to check on me after every one of them! Dr. Ammal is so gentle and even though she always tell me to raise my hand if she hurts me (which she never does), she still stops and ask me throughout the procedure to make sure I’m okay. I know it’s long but I wanted to make sure anyone reading this could see how caring, considerate and compassionate this office is! They actually care about their patients and work hard to make sure you get the care you need! I absolutely loved my old dentist but Dr. Ammal and her staff are so outstanding that I changed offices!! You won’t regret seeing her and her wonderful staff!!

I have been going to Smile Away Dentistry since moving to the area seven years ago. They are always friendly and informative. The doctor and hygienist are courteous, gentle, and respectful of my needs. Yesterday was my most recent visit and I was happy to see they have extra safety measures in place due to COVID. All staff wore masks and require the same of customers in addition to conducting temperature checks upon entering the clinic. Keep up the great work all.

I’ve been going to SmileAway for years and have always had a great experience. The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by a warm smile and friendly hello! The dental hygienists are so careful and delicate when cleaning your teeth. I know this is a major concern for most people, but they truly are amazing!
