Great prostidontists office .. the Dr Spitz is an artist in his own right.. everybody very patient and accommodating especially with someone like me who’s kind of a perfectionist and bad at making decisions and always late 5 minutes because I’ve had to go through so much dental work in the past few years. I just appreciate everything they do to make sure I’m happy. I’m probably the most picky person that they will ever have there and I commend them for putting up with me. Some offices that I’ve been to in the past don’t seemingly care whether or not I was happy with their work and Dr Spitz definitely cares. now I understand why he became a dentist because his name was Spitz. Sorry I’m not very funny.

Those are the people that will change your view on dentists. I am undergoing substantial dental treatment (extractions, dentures …) and the team at SmileBoston has been amazing. They have been very upfront and explained all the details of my condition, put me in contact with other professionals for second opinion and have spent hours explaining the treatment options depending on what was physically and financially possible for me. It’s still a long process and I’m only wearing temporary dentures now but my smile is perfect and I feel very supported by the whole staff. Dr Kaplan and Spitz have both been very nice and understanding in front of all my questions and fears. Special mention to Andrew who makes each appointment easier and is just an amazing person. Very very special thank you to Kat who just goes above and beyond for her patient and is there every step of the way. It’s not an easy thing that I’m going through but I couldn’t have found a better team to help me through this.

Smile Boston is a fantastic dental office! They are warm, welcoming, friendly. They have great hours- so I can come in early for appointments before work. The dental hygienists ask personal questions about their patients and write detailed notes about them- so that each time you go in for a visit- they can follow up on what’s happening in your life. They are very professional, informative and caring about dental hygiene. When I decided to undergo a teeth whitening process, the hygienist also did it at the same time as me so that she would understand my questions, worries, successes and struggles. How great is that?! The dentist, Dr. Spitz is great at his job and it is clear that he is passionate for his work. He greets patients by names and makes you feel important. I highly recommend Smile Boston for all your dental needs.

I recently had a cleaning with Shawn and IMO, she does an exceptional job. I’m very pleased and look forward to my appointments! Today I had two issues addressed by Dr. Taylor and both went very well. He was friendly and answered my before and after procedure questions. Andrew is a friendly face when you check in and check out. He also answers all of my billing questions and goes the extra mile when needed. I’ve been a patient at SmileBoston for 19 years so I’d say I’m happy with the care and services provided. Dr. Spitz gave me a smile that I can be proud of and feel confident flashing.

This is my third year coming to this dental office and I happened to go back today to get my regular cleaning and met an amazing hygienist Jody, what a wonderful human being and to top that she really has magic hands so whoever wants to not feel any type of pain, I suggest to book an appointment with Jody. Couldn’t ask for a better hygienist; can’t wait to see her for my next cleaning in 6 months. And of course Dr. Spitz the BEST Doctor for implants in this town (in my opinion) did the check up for the day; very pleased to see him. Andrew is an exceptional receptionist who meets your needs, I was happy to see him as well. I highly recommend SmileBoston dental clinic.

I have been a patient at Smile Boston for the last two and a half years and have been seen by Kat for Invisalign. I can’t say enough for her care and personality. I would call her a rockstar for the job she does as she makes you feel like you are an old friend and is very caring to the last detail. I moved to New York recently and she made sure my Invisalign treatment continues by mailing me the trays. I can’t say enough good things about the practice and Kat and now that I moved to New York I’m sad I’m not getting treated by them and need to find a new practice.

If you are thinking of going to Smileboston — go! What a great office and staff, and Dr. Spitz is a joy to work with and excellent at what he does. I evaluated a few options, as I was looking to do some extensive work. Dr. Spitz took the time to work with me and suggest some items, and then I decided to go with Smileboston. I had a great experience, the price was fair, and I was very happy with everything they did. This is a very well-run, organized, professional shop. I almost never write reviews, felt like I had to do it here!

From front desk, to hygienist, to Dr- all A++++. I usually hate the dentist and have an intense fear of getting any work done, but the team here is unbelievable. They make me feel so calm and confident in their skills. I would recommend to anyone! I also love that for work I have options for sedation (which I need ;)) haha.

Been coming to Smile Boston for years. Their hygienists are not only incredibly thorough and competent, but also have great bedside manners. I love how punctual they are. I’ve never had to wait long for my appointment to get started. The staff does a wonderful job with letting you know about needs to get done or what to keep an eye on. And they really do know their patients. I walked in for my regular 6 month appointment, and the girl who hasn’t cleaned my teeth in a year recognized that I changed my hair color. Love this place, highly recommend.

I’m totally freaked out by the dentist so when I was looking for one in a new location I was really specific about who I’d go to. I read other reviews for Smile Boston of people that are anxious about the dentist and they had awesome experiences here and I couldn’t agree more. I had to go in for a root canal which was stressing me out big time. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating (for me being a bit of a baby) I even found myself laughing several times throughout the appointment.

i met Dr. Spitz through a mutual colleague of Dr. Spitz five years ago .I had a bad experience with my previous dentist who did a total makeover of my mouth and had the worst experience with service and felt like i was treated unfairly.. Along came Steve Spitz! a total gem! He has been so wonderful to me and is there for me anytime i need his help.He had to replace a few of the crowns that i had done by the other dentist and he did a superior job! I couldn’t be happier! he is a wonderful human being! i would highly recommend Dr. Spitz if you are looking for a new dentist. Ellen

Smile Boston is AMAZING!!!! The staff is so welcoming, friendly, professional, and talented!! If you’re in need of cosmetic dentistry, end your search with Smile Boston! For 28 years, I lived with sub-par two front teeth that had gone through composites, bonding, and a poor attempt at veneers with my general dentist. I decided to see what else was out there to improve my smile, and I came to Smile Boston. Dr. Spitz is incredible. He is an artistic genius!! He made me feel really comfortable right away about my decision to pursue new veneers. At the consultation, we took lots of pictures, and he explained the procedure thoroughly. He answered all my questions while providing the right amount of reassurance. I was so nervous that it would be painful or not turn out looking natural. Even the temporaries he put on while we were waiting for the veneers to come in looked better than my original botched veneers!! He even was sweet enough to call me the next day to make sure that I was feeling well! The veneers that he put on are beautiful! I’ve never looked or felt better! I love my new smile! Huge bonus was that it did not hurt at all! It was so easy and fast that it makes me wish I did this years ago! If you are thinking about going to Smile Boston, don’t walk, RUN!! Overall Rating. Superb. I have been a patient of Dr. Spitz’s SmileBoston dental practice for well over a decade. I consider Dr. Spitz and his entire dental team to be technically superb, and in all other aspects of their dental practice, equally exceptional. Duration of Rater’s Experience. I don’t say this lightly or without what I consider to be a reasonably robust set of experiences, as well as an extended time period for review. More than a decade, in fact. With regard to time period, I should note that I began as a patient of Dr. Spitz’s predecessor in 1989. (I am a 64 year old corporate lawyer.) That dentist, who also taught courses at Tufts Dental school, found in Dr. Spitz’s practice both the high clinical skills and sensitivity to patient needs that would make entrusting his patients to Dr. Spitz something he could do with a high level of confidence as he prepared to retire. Range of Experiences. I have had a wide range of dental needs provided by SmileBoston. This has included basic cleanings and fillings to treating infections, performing root canals, molding crowns, and an extraction, bone rehabilitation and complete tooth replacement with an implant. From pain management to overall health management, I felt (and regularly researched and confirmed) that Dr. Spitz continued to incorporate cutting edge technology and procedures combined with a keen eye for performing the basics with excellence. For Those Reluctant to Seek Treatment for Overdue Repairs or Restoration. During and following the recession I had to reluctantly delay some treatment. I felt entirely comfortable having overdue work done by Dr. Spitz and his team. To be candid, the relief one can feel from having an overdue problem fixed right—by welcoming and supportive clinicians and staff—is a Godsend. For Those Concerned About COVID-19 Precautions. I am in one of the CDC’s designated higher risk group because of age and multiple other factors. Since August of 2020 I have made eight (8) safe and comfortable visits to SmileBoston for treatment. As I anticipated, Dr. Spitz equipped almost every room with surgical quality air scrubbers. The SmileBoston team is well-versed in all the appropriate safety protocols regarding masks, shields, gloves, wiping down surfaces, etc. In addition, they’ve paid careful attention to the sequence of patients arriving and departing to avoid close contact. I have felt very safe and well cared for in this regard in each of the (many) appointments and procedures I’ve had during the pandemic. Special Note Regarding Endodontic Treatment – Root Canals: Dr. Susan Han is, arguably, a true maestro of her profession. I have had a number of root canals over the past 40 years and while techniques have naturally advanced, the difference between Dr. Han’s skill-sets and those of other highly-rated endodontists I’ve seen in Boston is nothing short of remarkable. I thought her precision and dexterity were amazing five years ago during a root canal. When I had to have another root canal last year, I would swear she’s gotten even better—hard to do, given her starting point. I do not think you could do better, anywhere. Personal Observation. I have found Dr. Spitz consistently committed to “getting it right” over the years. In my corporate life, I’ve learned that the culture comes down from the top. SmileBoston appears to reflect that finding and Dr. Spitz’s high expectations of himself comes through in his colleagues’ approach toward patients, from front office to the dentist’s chair.
