My entire family has been going to Dr. J for several years.  He is a fantastic dentist and his entire staff are friendly and very caring.  Dr. J and his staff have constantly gone above and beyond to treat my 90 year old mother.  She loves everyone at his office and is not the easiest of patients.  She has needed extensive dental work over the past few years and Dr. J and his team have taken such good care with her.  I would highly recommend Smiles By Design.  You won’t find a better dental office!!

I am very satisfied with the staff that is working there. They are very nice and polite. Doctor was able to answer all my questions and to explain me a procedure step by step, which helped me a lot to relax. Overall great experience! Should definitely recommend them!

This is the very best dental office and treatment that I have experienced.   They are always there for me, whether it is referring me to the oral specialist or contacting my oncologist when I needed dental care.  All of the staff explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions.  I know this sounds strange but it really doesn’t bother me to go to the dentist, the office is aesthetically pleasing and relaxing, the staff is friendly and very nice, and I know that any work Dr. Javaheri performs on my mouth will be pain free with no return visits that something wasn’t done correctly the first time. It is a pleasure to be a patient at Smiles by Design San Diego.

If I could award more stars I would. I’m so so grateful for this office and Dr J’s practice. I had not been to any dentist in an incredibly long time due to my fears and embarrassment for how long it had been since I’d seen anyone. Today, I chose Dr J as my first dental appointment in twenty years. As a new patient, I was so fearful, but not only was I warmly welcomed and kindly treated, going through the process of xrays and other checkup elements was calm and, to be honest, enjoyable due to the friendly conversation. Dr J was genuine, personable, and informative. I felt so supported through the process of my first visit today. Raul was also particularly comforting through the process. I left feeling empowered and confident. I now know I have a team on my side that I trust and feel safe with. From the front desk with Elaine and Shirley, to everyone who assisted me today, thank you for easing my apprehension and for treating me so warmly and wonderfully!

Dr. J and his entire staff are absolutely AMAZING!! I’ve never been so happy to have a dentist appt. They make all my visits an easy and relaxing appt. Dr. Javaheri and his staff were amazing!!! They all make you feel absolutely comfortable, relaxed, and will provide you with the best of care. You get all the right information for your treatment, and get to leave with no worries. I actually enjoyed going to the dentist!

Everybody “LOVES” going to the Dentist, right? Well this group almost makes you want to. The office is always neat, clean, friendly and ready to serve you. The staff is efficient and on their game. I have had joint replacement surgery and must take an antibiotic before ANY procedure. They always ask/check to make sure that I have. If I have forgotten they provide it for me, prior to starting. Dr. J explains things in a manner that is understandable.

Dr. Javaheri  came highly recommended to us  as my daughter wanted to explore Invisalign to correct her teeth.  I was uncertain if she would be better with traditional braces or if Invisalign would work. Dr. J spent a significant amount of time examining her teeth.  He then explained that in his professional opinion, Invisalign would not be the best option for her.  We really appreciated his honesty.  He was not looking to make money on a treatment that ultimately would not correct my daughter’s teeth.  It was clear that he would rather lose a potential client than ruin his reputation.  This is a dentist with integrity.

I have been a patient at Smiles by Design since 2008. I was referred here after having a bad experience. As a very anxious dental patient the team here always goes out of their way to make sure I am comfortable. I would highly recommend Smiles by Design

Dr J his staff are amazing and they give the best service ever. My family and I have been patients here for many years and we would never go anywhere else. I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs as well as Invisalign. My daughter was treated with Invisalign 2 years ago and results were incredible.

Coming from a gal who would rather have a mammogram than go to the dentist, I have to say that Dr. Rosta and staff were incredibly comforting and assuring during my entire visit. I would highly recommend them to all the other dental-phobic peeps out there. They will leave you smiling!

I have always enjoyed my visits at this office. Dr. Javaheri is kind, patient and personable, and always makes me feel comfortable and cared for. His team, from the dental assistants to the front office, all have a great attitude and awesome smile for me every time I walk in. The facilities and technology are top notch. I go to them both for my regular cleanings, and they worked with me on Invisalign which I came out incredibly pleased with Beyond just eliminating my fear of going to the dentist’s office, I can personally say that this team has gone above and beyond for me, from working with me on difficult insurance issues to continuing my care even when I am living in a different state (or country!). I love this whole team and highly recommend them. Keep up the great, great work!

Fantastic dentist and amazing staff. I can’t imagine going to anyone else after being here. Just a perfect atmosphere every visit. There isn’t a single person with a bad attitude or even a mediocre attitude. They care and pick up conversations where you left off even after 6 months. I just can’t say enough!!

excellent Dentist. Dr J is the best Dentist I have ever had in San Diego. He found an abscess in my gum which was from a root canal that many years ago another dentist did on my tooth and that was interesting because the abscess didn’t even had any sign and symptoms. office staffs very nice and welcome with a beautiful smile.

Dr Javahari has been my and my husband’s dentist since we moved to San Diego 8 years ago; we have always been treated wonderfully by everyone at Smiles by Design, from the front desk to the hygienists to Dr. J himself.  They take care of us, take care of our mouth/teeth and make us feel comfortable and safe.  We won’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Javahari and team are second to none. They turn a not so pleasant task into a painless, hassle free experience. The team has always taken into consideration my sensitive teeth, and make sure to ask if I’m comfortable often through the appointment. From the front end staff, to the hygienist and lastly to Dr. J, they all really care. The staff provides solid advice and recommendations on how to improve my oral health without judgement or pressure one way or another. I have been a patient for years and don’t plan on leaving! I have recommended many friends and colleagues and will continue to do so!

I’m new to the area, moved here from the Central Valley and have a huge anxiety with dentists. I was referred to Dr. J. When I called, the Staff was professional and very reassuring about the Staff and services which are provided. I received a reminder call and appreciated it. Upon arriving Dr. J was there to greet those of us who entered. I was pleasantly surprised. It is comforting to see and have the interaction between patients and Dr. J. The exam was detailed, informative and pretty much painless. Then afterwards the cleaning was next. Both Missy Debra and the Hygienist were very nice. They kept me calm and relaxed, well as much as I could be due to my anxiety, Lol. The timeframe was reasonable for what they had to do. I received my next appointment and am happy to say I found my new dental office. Everyone made me feel like I had been there forever. YES!!!!! I do recommend them from my first and personal experience with them.

I have been a client of Daniel Javaheri’s Dental Office for years! I was referred to them by a co-worker. I had gone to a couple other dentists for a ‘check-up’ and was told I needed a ‘Deep Cleaning’. First time, in my life, I was told ever told I needed a ‘Deep Cleaning’.  I thought it was strange considering I had regular cleanings, twice a year, and never had much of an issue with my teeth ever – a couple of cavities … I completely trust there staff … and guess what – I still have never had a ‘Deep Cleaning’ yet – after going to there office for years! : ) I couldn’t be happier and more pleased with there service! A very inviting atmosphere too! I love the décor, makes it even better!
