I have been going to Dr. Payet for 11 years after not seeing a dentist for over 5 years. Everyone at his practice is friendly and professional. They really do treat you like family and not just another patient. Dr. Payet takes his time to really get to know you. Dr. Payet removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth which was a bit involved. He took great care of me and even gave me his cell number in case I had any issues over the weekend. I’ve had to have some minor work done on my teeth and needed a mouth guard as well due to grinding my teeth. Dr. Payet and his staff goes above and beyond to ensure you’re completely satisfied. If there’s an issue he’ll do what’s necessary to correct the situation. Dr. Payet keeps up with the latest advancements in dentistry as well. He offers a wide variety of services. Each hygienist I’ve seen has been great. I usually see Amber who is so sweet and really makes you feel at ease. I have friends who see him as well because of my recommendation and they feel the same. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Payet is a fantastic dentist with a great “bedside manner!” He takes the time to explain things and usually gives different treatment options. I have been going to him many years and he has never recommended any unncessary work. I have found that to be a problem with other dentists. The most common one is replacing old fillings that aren’t causing problems. I once had another dentist do this and I started having severe toothaches where that dentist drilled out and replaced the fillings. Dr Payet identified some potential problem areas in my mouth and suggested some different treatment options. That was fortunate because I would have lost some of my teeth if not treated. I don’t know about you but I want all of my teeth! He is also very particular about the dental hygienist he hires and allows them the time to do their job properly instead of playing the money numbers game. He only hires the best! It was really no surprise to me that Dr Payet won an award as the top dentist in charlotte and fully deserves this 5 star review!

You can’t teach or fake being genuine and genuine is exactly what the staff is at Smiles by Payet. I have been going to Dr. Payet’s office for many years now. Absolutely amazing experience the staff and dentist are above expectation. I hated going to the dentist. I bounced from practice to practice seeking a full service team with innovative technology and steadfast experience until I found Dr. Payet. I truly can’t say enough and I am never the type to leave reviews but they deserve it.

Dr. Payet is the best dentist SC/NC‼  I was referred to a peridonist that almost caused me all my teeth!  I did my research and found Dr. Payet.  He healed my gums and saved my gums with his amazing knowledge and top technology!  He is very friendly gentle; easy to talk to and so is his staff!  I’m sooo thankful I found him and you will too!  The absolute BEST dentist‼

Dr Payet and his staff are the best! I have been a patient of his for over 15 years. He is always upbeat, happy, and personable. I was in a car wreck a couple years ago and was hit in the face with the air bag. One of my bottom teeth was knock loose. I requested that he xray it a couple extra times around my regular cleaning to keep an eye on it, and he was happy to oblige. After carefully and diligently monitoring it, we recently decided tthe best course of action was to go ahead and do a procedure to help keep it from dying. I was extremely nervous and forgot to take the prescription for anxiety (which only caused me to have more). The office staff were extremely patient, kind, and helped me relax by talking to me about it. Dr Payet’s technique for numbing my mouth was completely painless, and by the time the procedure was over, I was almost embarrassed that I had so much anxiety to begin with! The best part of all was that he gave me a very gracious discount due to the fact that I had lost my job and didn’t have insurance. Dr Payet and his team always go above and beyond what is expected for their patients. After over 15 years I have always felt confident in his expertise and the service he provided.

As far as dentists go, these guys are good (meaning I hate going to the dentist. Any dentist) What I appreciate about these guys is their care, procedures, equipment and non pushy approach. Having said that though, dentists are in the field of “perfection” so most recommend doing things to your teeth to achieve that. I myself prefer the look of a somewhat original smile, (a crooked tooth here and there does not make me think one needs braces!) The difference I have found at this office is that they listen to you, allow you to question things and gain a full understanding of what is being recommended/suggested, and then allow you to make your own decision with freedom. Bravo.

I have been going to Dr. Payet’s office since I moved to Charlotte in 2013. He is simply an amazing dentist that genuinely takes pride in his work and does an amazing job. The staff at Smiles by Payet Dentistry are the best as well. They are always super nice and always willing to accommodate your schedule. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentistry.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Payet for several years and can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. Dr. Payet and his team take a very reasonable and holistic approach to dental health. Laser dentistry is very comfortable compared to the traditional approach for repairing a tooth. Also he and his staff take the usage of PPE very seriously which makes me as a patient feel comfortable in a clean and safe clinic.

I used to be afraid of the dentist… yes even as an adult! My experiences with Dr Payet and his entire staff have always been very pleasant and welcoming since day one. I feel like I am a part of their extended family. At one point my teeth needed all the help they could get and are now coming along nicely. The staff is extremely professional and caring. They make you feel like you are the only one that matters. As for Dr. Payet, he is gentle and kind. He truly cares about the comfort of his patients. I had laser filling and was apprehensive at first, but it was a good experience and I will request it from now on. Good job guys.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Payet for a little over a year now and I have always gotten such great care. I cannot recommend him enough! From beginning to end, the practice is great. The dental hygienist are great and always make my visit even more pleasant. Both Dr. Payet and the hygienist are great with explaining procedures and answering any questions I have. Had an ongoing dental pain and I emailed them when severity increased. Their concerned response was prompt, and they offered me to check in, so Dr. Payet can examine my dental discomfort. Very courteous of them to accommodate me within their busy hours. Not only that, Dr. Payet took all the time despite a packed schedule; to go over with questions, symptoms and onset of pain after a set of xrays were taken. Ran a few tests, went over care instructions in detail and offered to contact their office again anytime the pain returns. Peace of mind is where concerned doctors and their welcoming staff put you first. That’s where Smiles by Payet is.

I’ve been seeing Dr.Payet for the past six months. Today I went in because I was having dental pain and suspected the tooth would need to be pulled. When Fara realized I was in pain she worked to get me in right away even though it was almost closing time. Dr. Payet did pull the tooth. The pain was gone and I am grateful.

I’m so glad I found Dr. Payet! He and everyone at his office is very warm and professional. They make you feel like their only patient, and provide personalized service I haven’t found anywhere else. Amber is a wonderful hygienist and always offers tips to optimize my dental health, and Farrah in reception is so efficient, she will have you checked in and out in a flash. I highly recommend Dr. Payet!

I am terrified of the dentist. Met with Dr. Payet yesterday and his team. They were amazing! He is so friendly, funny and personable. He took the time to even help with billing and write out my treatment plan. NO other dentist has ever done that before. I would see them for 10 min and then they would leave. He was with us the whole duration of the appt explaining everything. The ladies there were also fantastic. What a team! I plan on going back in two weeks and I’m looking forward to it!

I can’t say enough about this office; the staff as well as Dr.P. Within a day they got me in as I had two teeth that had fallen out. And, in addition to that I have a horrible phobia when it comes to dentistry. The front desk young lady was so caring upon my first call. She asked about my issues and immediately asked could I come the next day. That alone made me feel comfortable as though everyone is taken on a case by case basis. On the day of the visit, I was greeted by her and she went as far as calling another dental office to get my X-rays. Something that I tried prior to the visit but to no avail. Charlene was awesome(dental assistant). I didn’t feel embarrassed or less than and that speaks volumes as well. She was very gentle with the X-rays and thorough. Dr.P is the BEST!! His bedside manners are unmatched! He is so kind and it took very little time for him to come up with a treatment plan. I will definitely have him do my work! From beginning til the end, everything was what you rarely get these days and that’s excellent customer service and compassion! Anyone “thinking” of going, please know that I never give reviews so this is a pretty huge task for me, however they are most deserving. Choose Smiles by Payet!!
