Moved here from Colorado in June and was looking for a dentist near home. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kiser and his staff. Vicky, Millie, Jenna, and Dr. Kiser made my visit the best dental experience I’ve had thus far, hands down. They were attentive, knowledgeable, transparent, and friendly. They explained x-rays, software, oral cancer screenings, cleaning procedure, etc. I am so happy that I chose to get my dental care done at Smiles.

I’ve since moved out of state and called up last minute when I was in town last month for a visit. Vicki immediately called up with a special appointment slot. I had a painful back tooth that I thought was from his crown, which it wasn’t. Not only did he see me last minute, he fixed it even though the pain was not from the crown at all, but rather from my recession irritating the nerve on the tooth behind the crown. Even though it was a short appt and I had my baby girl, he made time to put on a small filling close to my gumline to cover up the exposed nerve ending. Doctor Kiser was my dentist through a rough period of my life. I had all but destroyed my teeth from bulimia and he was absolutely sweet and fantastic everytime I saw him. He always told me I had a beautiful smile and that he would do exactly what he would do for his own daughter to fix any damage I had done (Those nasty habits you can’t hide from a dentist, but for anyone struggling get to someone you trust, you need care more than most!) Eventually my behavior got the best of my front teeth, the enamel was weak and they began cracking. He did my veneers and if anyone I know reads this, they will be like “Seriously!? I knew she had a gorgeous smile, but no idea she had veneers.” Seriously though, they look so natural, beautiful, not overly fake white, I just have the top 8 and they match my other teeth so well. His work makes me feel beautiful when I smile and they have changed my life and confidence. Thank you Dr. Kiser.

I really enjoyed this dentist – oh wait – did i just say ENJOY about a dentist? WHAT?! I’m one of those people who dreads going to the dentist, after a bad experience I had as a kid (on a separate note, i also have a good reference for a pediatric dentist!) This place has been good to me so far. I’ve had my regular cleaning only, but let me tell you – it was really thorough (thanks hygienist!) and because I was a little nervous and anxious, I was allowed to have the happy gas (bubble gum smell!) – so I was quite “happy” the whole time 🙂 For an even more objective opinion I recruited my husband, who agreed and told me he also appreciated the deep cleaning. He will also have his crown replaced soon and he’s excited about it (did I just say excited?!) This dentist office has a fancy machine that does crowns within the same day! so you don’t have to get a temporary crown, come back and waste more time driving around – it will all be done the same day! (will update more after my husband has the crown replaced as well, for more details) I also signed up for the “Whitening for life” deal, which is $99. They give you the teeth whitening trays (made from your own teeth, of course) and as many tubes as you need FOR LIFE, as long as you have your regular twice a year cleaning session. Something else I really appreciated is the detailed list I was given by the billing lady (with all the work I need to get done) – with side notes of prices (full price and my out of pocket – after they had talked to my insurance carrier) and recommended dates when to get them done (considering when my maximum for the year would have been reached and recommending me to wait it out until next year, hence reducing my out of pocket) and it was a real person I was talking to, who I can ask questions to. Maybe that’s not the case for everyone but for me this had never happened. I’ve always had to call some billing department far away that only opens 9-4 and I can never reach them). Staff was friendly and consistent, meaning it was always the same people who welcomed me (I’ve had two visits). They all were very helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately for me, I had some darn cavities 🙁 so I’ll be back to get those fixed soon. I’ll update the review after I get those taken care of with the dentist…!

My 88 year old mother bit on a piece of candy, Christmas eve night. She called me in tears, not knowing what to do. I calmed her down and told her, we would find a solution in the morning. I live a little over two hours away. I was worried about finding help for her on Christmas day. I called Dr. Kiser’s office, and the answering service said the office was not scheduled to open until January 2nd. I left a message for Dr. Kiser, and he returned my call in minutes (on Christmas Day). Although, he had family spending the holiday with him and I’m sure many plans, he told me to come up and call me when I got to my mother’s house. I did just that, and Scott told us to meet him at his practice. He met us at his office, with a great big smile, and fixed my mother’s tooth. He was so gracious and gentle with her. I know that it must have been the last place Dr. Kiser wished to be on Christmas day. He handled the situation with such grace and kindness, even expressing his condolences on the recent loss of my father. When I took mom home, I asked her to smile. It was a wonderful to see her beautiful smile restored. Dr. Kiser gave us the best Christmas present imaginable. I’ve known him for years and must say, he is not only a wonderful dentist, but an extraordinary human being. Scott, Owen and I think you are the best. Sheri Hogle

I have been seeing Dr. Scott Kiser for over 24 years and would never go anywhere else. Dr. Kiser is extremely caring and is an outstanding dentist. Every appointment has been a very pleasant experience. He and his staff are very caring and go out of their way to answer my questions and address my concerns at every appointment. Everyone compliments me on my amazing smile thanks to Dr. Kiser. I would highly suggest anyone looking for a great dentist to go to Dr. Kiser at Smiles.

Covid is Real! I got infected and quarantined at my home. Fortunately, due to my health and with the use of hydrogen peroxide as a nasal spray as well as an oral rinse helped me. I’m feeling better, hydrogen peroxide helped me in my recovery. I would also like to mention, due to lack of information on tv and radio it is helpful that all healthcare professionals are aiding in trying to tackle this virus.
