If you’re looking for a Denist/Ortho with a super friendly staff, I would highly recommend Smiles of Chandler to any of my friends & family! From the moment you walk in you are greeted with two lovely girls & their smiles at the front desk, Daniel & Blanca. These two always start my visit each month on a great note and even though I’m not a morning person, they somehow find a way to make me laugh as early as 10 AM LOL. As well as the office coordinator with her bright personality, Loraine looks to be managing a very professional but fun environment making the patience experience 5 stars as soon as you walk in the door :). I’ve had my braces for about 6 months now and with Dr. Heaton’s professional experience I am finally getting the perfect teeth that I have wanted since I was in middle school. It is really beneficial that Smiles of Chandler is both a Dentist office and Orthodontist. Having my wire taken off just to walk across the hall to have my teeth cleaned really is amazing. Tamara is the one who gave me my first cleaning ever since wearing braces, and even though I was a little nervous, my mouth had never felt so clean after my appointment with her! Dr. Heaton went the extra mile for my wife recent dental issue. I also visit Smiles of Chandler for my 6 month cleaning. Dr. Heaton is an expert in his profession and it is always good to visit with him about common interest we have. I trust him. His office is in a great location in Chandler and is very clean. There are TV’s in each procedure room that you have control of. His staff does a great job and help you feel comfortable. Our family is a customer for life.

I have to say I love my dentist office. I have 4 kids and 3 of them are in braces!! I have to say they are very understanding and great with children. i have to be honest because my oldest daughter is high maintenance lol. She freaked out so much when she had to have her tooth pulled for her braces. Dr Heaton was so patient and explained everything for her. I am sure she was a very interesting patient. Our whole family goes here. My husband says it’s his favorite dentist. He was scared for so long that he refused to go. I finally got him here because of they treat oir kids!!

Love Smiles! I’ve been a patient w Dr. Casillas 20+ years: Dr. Heaton is terrific and my fave staff ever work for me to get me appts whenever I need to be seen! Kimmy is a fabulous hygienist, and gentleness is her middle name. In the middle of getting an implant, and I am confident in my choice to drive over 30 miles to get to Smiles of Chandler!

I went here for a second opinion and expected only an exam but they cleaned my teeth too on the same visit (and I really needed it.) The visit took only an hour which was surprising given I haven’t had my teeth cleaned by a dentist in years. Compared to the other dentist office I visited these people are total angels. I would trust them with my teeth, they showed me they care more about my comfort than milking my dollars.

Dr. Casillas is amazing. Him and his staff are wonderful people and I know most of them by name and they know me by name. Dr. C has been my dentists for over 15 years and when I moved to the North Valley, I still drive down to chandler for my dental appointments. The newest addition of Dr. Heaton has spruced up the practice and I saw him for the first time last week. He really took the time to get to know me as a new patient of his. My whole family goes to Smiles of Chandler. I would recommend them to anyone look for a regular dentist and for more work than just the semi annual checkups and cleanings. Dr. C has managed all three of my crown including my two front teeth and nobody ever know they are crowns until I tell them.

I have been going to Dr. Woodward’s practice for over 15 years and followed his practice when he merged with Dr. Heaton at Smiles of Chandler. Dr. Woodward is experienced, knowledgeable and honest. His workmanship is great and he has filled a number of cavities and crowned two teeth for me with no problems. The entire staff is amazing! Jessica is my absolute favorite dental hygienist. She does great work and always makes me laugh. I also have a great relationship with their office manager Luraine. A few months ago i needed some impressions taken that needed to be perfect. The appointment took a little longer to get everything just right. Noticing this, Luraine gave me free movie passes for the trouble, how nice! I also have received top notch service from Blanca and Dani who deal with finances and scheduling. Needless to say they will have me as a patient for life.

The staff are very friendly and greet you by name. It is always a very pleasant experience. I never had a lot of anxiety about the dentist but now I can say that I have none. They are very gentle and non-invasive. I’m no authority on the matter but they seem to utilize the latest and greatest in dental technology. I highly recommend them.

My family has been going here for years. The staff is amazing. Visiting here is like visiting old friends. They always make sure we feel comfortable, not just when in the chair but also in the waiting room. They are up front about pricing. The staff treats our children like celebrities when they come, so my kids LOVE visiting the dentist and actually cheer when it’s their turn, despite the beloved Lego table in the waiting room. They engage us as part of a health-care team while making decision and they rely on evidence based outcomes when presenting options. They don’t push expensive unnecessary procedures. They individualized their procedures to meet my needs and supported my decisions even when it didn’t fall into the norm. They don’t rely on guilt trips or scare tactics to encourage regular visits or more flossing. Instead, they focus on providing relevant information, positive feedback, and the best quality care achievable. This place really goes out of their way to focus on customer service. You will love it too!

This was my first time at Desert Family and seeing Dr. Heaton. I was referred to this office and would definitely refer others. I was very pleased with the friendliness of the office staff, the high technology equipment, cleanliness, and general concern for my well being.

Dr. Heaton was great for my filling today. I normally HATE being at the dentist’s office but he and his staff are always really pleasant and engaging. I did not have to wait and even with 2 fillings I was in and out in less than an hour.  When I walked in Dr. Heaton was chatting with a younger patient and offering other patients juice or water while they were waiting. I’m glad I chose this office for my dental needs!

Always a great dental experience with Dr. Castillo and now Dr. Heaton. Dental hygienists are wonderful, very warm, gentle and put you at ease immediately. Kim greets you by name as you enter the door, and that is such a nice feeling. Everyone working there is genuine and kind, there is a very easy feeling about the whole office, like people enjoy working there, and that is very cool.

My and my sons experience with the hygienists was great and the Dentist was great as well. He did all he could to save my teeth with the most conservative level of treatment before taking extreme and aggressive measures. I was extremely nervous going to the dentist but with this group, I know I am safe. The receptionist is always so helpful and nice too.

Very nice staff.  Kimmie does a wonderful job cleaning teeth.  She is so gentle.  She even massages your jaw so your mouth doesn’t get sore!  If you need a cleaning ask for Kimmie!  Dr. Heaton is great-super nice and explains whatever treatment you need.  He is also very gentle.  I have a history of dental phobia but it is not an issue with this wonderful group!

I have been terrified of going to the dentist for as long as I can remember. That all changed the minute I stepped into this office! From the incredible staff to the absolutely amazing Dr. Heaton, I have found the only dentist’s office I will ever go to again! The hygienists are great and really care and that comes through every time I am there. Dr. Heaton knows of my severe anxiety with dentists and shots and he was very empathetic and gentle. I cannot possibly say enough about the excellent customer service this office and their staff have to offer!

5 stars! I definitely recommend Dr. Heaton! He and his team are very knowledgeable and gets the work done right the first time. I love how personable Dr. Heaton is. He cares about you as a person and not just like another patient. I give him 5 stars every visit! Thanks for all you do for me and my family Dr. Heaton you are the best dentist out there!

Dr. Heaton and his staff at Smiles of Chandler are fantastic! He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Nicki did a great job of cleaning my teeth and she was extremely friendly. From the moment I arrived at the office they made me feel comfortable. The new location is a very relaxing and comfortable environment. I would definitely recommend Smiles of Chandler to anyone!

First off I truly do not like going to dentists or doctors for that matter, nothing personal just how it is for me. I called yesterday as a brand new client in pain with a cracked tooth clearly needing some work done. As soon as I walked in I was met with a pleasant and accomodating check in staff and then brought back to figure out and fix what was wrong. Dr. Heaton met me to discuss my options, put my “dental anxiety” to ease and got me in and out within a couple of hours. I got a root canal which sucks sure, but they had a tv on the ceiling above the chair I was on and provided headphones to listen to it which 100% helped. I honestly couldn’t tell you the last time I felt so comfortable at the dentist. Thanks for the great treatment highly recommend

Wow! Great Doc,Great location 2 minutes from my house. Dr. Heaton is very personable and honest. And this place does braces too!!! Huge plus for me since my youngest is going to need them soon. Set two appoints for my kids the same day i was in for my initial treatment, which, by the way, was terrific!!!  The staff is super friendly and the office is laid back and comfortable. Don’t let this fool you, everyone I met was the consummate professional. Their easygoing style makes for a great and relaxing experience….. AT A DENTIST’S OFFICE?? That’s right. I was all “Smile’s” when I left and happy to have Dr. Heaton in an office so close to my house.

So, had my Dental Appointment yesterday, to install the implant crown in my upper left space. Thank you my friends for not pointing it out to me, and making fun of me, while it was missing. The story though, is that the crown took 4 weeks to make, instead of the industry standard 2 weeks. Well, not really, see, it really did take 2 weeks, but “Admin” dropped the ball, and didn’t call me. They were VERY apologetic, stating that “OMG, I can’t believe we did this to one of our favorite patients”. So, usually, if someone offers an apology to me, and if it’s sincere, I then will almost always say “Apology accepted”, and then it’s water under the bridge as far as I’m concerned, which was the case here. BUT….. Talk is cheap, right? Turns out, I had also scheduled a cleaning, which they did. What I didn’t realize, was that the Implant/Crown, wiped out all my remaining insurance, so I didn’t actually have any Insurance left to pay for the cleaning, which from past experience I know is greater than $100. So, OK, what’s fair is fair, and I had to pay out of pocket for the cleaning that I asked for, right…..? Nope. They threw the cleaning in for free, as part of the apology! Can you freaking believe it? Apparently, that’s Doctor Heaton, and Smiles Of Chandler Customer Service at work, Good job!

I just had my second appointment today, everyone there is very nice, Dr. Heaton is a very friendly and knowledgeable guy, I would 100% recommend you to go with  him. Today I just went for a regular cleaning and he ended up fixing one of my tooth for FREE, that was super nice of him, I really appreciated. So if you are looking for an dentist around in chandler, he is the one to go.

Have been seeing Dr. Woodward and Dr Heaton for 15 years.  Unbelievable service and patient support.  I recently completed 15 months of orthodontic works with braces and cannot believe the results. Dr. Heaton explains my options and benefits and limitations of both and could not be happier with the results!!!

My kids and I just saw Dr. Heaton and Mandy, the hygienist, today as brand new patients for cleanings. I’m giving them a 5-star rating just based on our experience today, but will update if needed. Mandy was AMAZING!! Super sweet and so gentle. She took the time to explain everything she was going to do and was so good with my 5 year old (first timer!) that he even commented on how amazing she was 🙂 My daughter and I are terrified of the dentist, so it was really nice to walk out of there today and not be hyperventilating or feeling like we were beat up. They were thorough and very good with all of us. No sales pressure, no feeling like we were being coerced into unnecessary work, everything was explained and for once, I felt comfortable getting my teeth cleaned. For a dental visit, it was as good as it could have been!
