Lorraine the dental hygienist was super!!! Haven’t been to dentist in 2 hrs and she did a superb job cleaning my teethe. The Dr was great as well. Didn’t push anything, just recommended. So overall I give this dentist 5 stars for kindness, dentistry knowledge, gentleness, and the ability to see me same day.

If I could rate higher I would. I had an amazing experience my husband came in for a new patient visit with my two year old son since I was running late to pick him up and once I arrived my son was sound asleep next to a bed with his dad. These are the dentals offices that are worth all the money. This office truly cares about their patients and their families definitely would recommend!

I have had very bad experiences with dentistry such as a doctor with a nasty attitude, unprofessional, or poor communication. Even as a nurse I find myself to be very anxious even for a teeth cleaning. Since coming to Dr. Lamothe my anxiety has been decreasing with each visit. He is now my dentist although I have to drive an hour from home!! He is knowledgeable within his scope of care and has a very easy going personality. I would like to nickname him “Dr. Smooth!” He also doesn’t recommend anything that I don’t need and is very careful in his decision making.His staff are also all professional, caring, and understanding. The office is very clean and welcoming. I highly recommended you seek convert dentists and come see him as a patient for any dental needs! I could go on and on about all the great things here!

I visited this dental office after getting my dental package from work. I have needed a deep cleaning & have returned for 2 more follow up cleanings. I did have some issues with the billing & my dental insurance, but I didn’t have to pay more than the desk clerk said I would have to pay. My wife has also switched over to this dental office. Pretty good staff of people here.

Dr. Lamothe has been a wonderful dentist to work with. He offers quality care. He is a top in profession and it shows in they way he performs procedures. He has helped me through a tooth extraction, dental implant and bone graphing. His hygienist Wendy does a great job cleaning teeth and his front desk receptionist Lisa is very easy to work with. I drive 30 minutes from Norcross to see him Smyrna passing by countless dentist that are closer but that I don’t trust with my care the way I trust Dr. Lamothe. Thank you for the great service!

Almost 20 years ago I chipped my front tooth, other dentists fixed the tooth with a Veneer and it subsequently chipped more than once. In 2004, Dr. Lamothe fixed the tooth and since then it has never chipped. Since relocating I have been to multiple dentists and each has complemented his work – color match, design, grooves, etc. He is the best I’ve experienced, bar none.

Dr. Lamothe is the real deal!!! I have been suffering from TMJ for 15 years. My everyday symptoms has been: migraines; vertigo; jaw, facial, neck and shoulder pain/ache; Jaw spasms; jaw deviation; nausea; sometimes nausea and vomiting; tinnitus; clogged ear; difficulty eating, opening and closing mouth and a slew of other things. I have seen numerous TMJ specialists, who I feel, have tried every treatment from: lidocaine and Botox injections in jaw and head, upper and lower mouth guard, medications such as amitriptyline, Aimovig, zofran, flexeril, Motrin, etc… TMJ physical therapy and massages, and the list goes on!! I am new to Georgia and I was referred to Dr. Lamothe. When I saw him, I was skeptical and truthfully didn’t even want to go because I had given up hope of anyone being able to help me but on my first visit, the exams and machines he used, I had never seen before and I started being hopeful. I have been wearing my appliance for 3 weeks now and it has changed my life. A lot of my symptoms are gone and those that aren’t only occurred 1-2 times a week. I feel like a new person because I can’t even remember life prior to TMJ. I am excited and optimistic that I might be symptom free one day but even if I am not, I’m just grateful and thankful for how I’m feeling now!! I’m a Nurse and I’ve been telling all my patients with TMJ about him!

OMG, OMG, OMG, Wendy girl I am in love….. I could not find anything wrong or to say bad about this place even if you try to find something because people do; you will not be able to all the way down to the reminder of your appointment…. I tried to get a problem out of the reminder come to find out it was my mistake I had the date correct but the day was incorrect so we laughed about it. The office as well as the crew that work in the office is/was very professional I had no complaints. Wendy was awesome she was my hygienist. She took her time and talked me through everything she was getting ready to do and everything she was going to do. I want in for a cleaning and I could not stop looking at my teeth. On the way home a couple of cars blew at me because I was in the mirror. I held up Dr Lamothe business card and told them if you go here you will know why I was in the mirror at the light. Note I have not been to the dentist well over some some something Years. Yes Years……. I said it so do not judge me, but guess what I walked out of there with no cavities and I am still blessed… Dr. Lamothe went over a lot of information and things I need for correcting as well as setting up a virtual to help me decide on how I want to go about getting my correction take care of… I can honestly say I have found my dentist for life….. Ladies keep up the good work in making Dr. Lamothe shine I am for sure he will take care of his crew with a big fat bonus

Let me say that it is great to “come back home” for my dental services. I chose to visit another dentist because of my work schedule and was much happier when I decided to come back to Smyrna Dental. They remembered me and fit me into their holiday schedule so that I could get in before the holidays. There is a personal touch at Smyrna Dental like no other place. The staff is very friendly and comforting (Wendy cleans teeth like no other) and Dr. Lamothe is very informative and clear about options and makes sure you understand everything related to your visit and the services you receive. I know that I will not go anywhere else for my dental services. There is no place like home. Thanks much Smyrna Dental!

I went in as an emergency patient and from the time I made the appointment to stepping in the the staff and dentist were wonderful. Checking in was a breeze and the wait was short.
