If you guys need a honest review then keep reading! This is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I came to this dentist starting August of 2020 because of the great reviews I read. Dr. Shamoeil is hands down the best. Removed 3 wisdom teeth and did 8 cavity fillings. He did his job at ease and there no complications what so ever. Funny doctor and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Also, he’s a huge Laker fan so that’s a plus for me too haha.

I am happy it’s my experiences at SoCal Dental Care. The staff is very kind, and the ladies at the front desk greet me with my name every time! The waiting area is comfortable and they have WiFi. They have TVs with Netflix in every room to watch during your visit. If you can park out front on the street that is best. I appreciate that this office sends you automated texts, so that you can confirm your appointments and get reminders. If I don’t respond to the texts they will always call and confirm. I’ve had 4 fillings and my wisdom teeth removed. All have gone smoothly, so I trust them with my future dental needs!

Update: 5/28/2020 I took my son to the dentist for his 2nd procedure. A Representative from the dentist office apologized for not disclosing the PPE fee and any miscommunication. I thanked the representative for their acknowledgment. Also, when the office representative called to confirm my son’s 2nd appointment, she reminded me of the PPE charge. Our 2nd visit went smooth and I gladly paid the PPE fee. I have no hard feelings. My son liked his experience. I get we are human and circumstances happens. Ownership and communication is the key! I shortened my concern that was originally made and changed the rating to a 5 because my concern is resolved satisfactorily. Concern 5/22/2020, I usually do not give bad reviews. I am really irritated with this dentist office. The dentist is informative whenever he treated my son’s teeth. He is a good dentist. I liked my past experiences with the dentist office until Covid-19. I was even thinking about making the dentist my primary dentist, but for now I am too upset.
My son had an appointment at this office. The office called and scheduled an appointment yesterday (5/21/2020). Once I arrived, the office informed me that I have to pay $10 for Protective Protection Equipment (PPE). I asked why didn’t they share the fee before I arrived. The office replied, “it’s on their door”. I told the office that by not giving a verbal heads up (advance notice), it is not proper business etiquette. I live 36 minutes away and I do not frequent the area. Besides, we all have been in our homes because on the virus, so when would I have the opportunity to come by and read their door? The office manager (Maria) said nothing. What Maria should have said is that they apologize I wasn’t informed and they will be mindful of sharing in the future.

SoCal Dental is a clean, friendly, professional dental office with 3 dentist to choose from. My preference is Dr Sherry because she was my first and I am a creature of habit. I’ve recommended 2 other people and they were both happy with SoCal dental as well. I just came back from the dentist with Muriel my patient and she personally gave Dr Homan Shamoeil a thank you for his integrity and thanked him for being gentle. She raved about the dentist and staff. The staff are respectful and considerate. Dr. Danny Aframian hasn’t worked on my mouth, BUT I’m sure that he is competent as well. WOW! that is all I have to say. So no one likes to go to the dentist so I must say I was nervous before going. But the second I went in I had a warm welcome. The office was very tidy and well kept! I was greeted by a friendly office person. And had little to no wait time! SO then came the Dr. Shamoeil all I have to say is excellent doctor. I’m going to start by saying Dr. Homan’s front desk staff is so friendly and kind. They truly give you the warmest welcome like you’re family. Dr. Homan is so professional and gentle. I used to hate coming to the dentist, but Dr. Homan really eases my discomfort and is so patient with my anxiety. I leave with clean pearly whites and I’m so thankful. Dr. Homan you’re the best and I’ll see you in 6 months! If you’re in north Hollywood or close by in Sherman oaks or studio city, I definitely recommend.

AMAZING Dr.s and staff!!! I came in to the office a few months ago for a veneer consultation. After receiving a consultation at another dentist I was told that the full process to get my veneers would take close to a year and would involve several invasive procedures to prepare my gums. I was disappointed to hear this as I was very eager to get them done sooner, so when Dr. Homan told me he could do them in just a few months I was ecstatic! In addition, Dr. Homan was able to do my veneers and work on my gums without needing the crown lengthening procedure that was suggested by another dentist. Before getting my permanent veneers put in I was scheduled to attend a wedding and Dr. Homan kindly redid the ten year old bonding on my teeth free of charge so that I could feel confident at the wedding. Throughout the entire process Dr. Homan and the staff made sure I was comfortable and completely satisfied with everything! The entire staff is so kind and friendly and made the process so much better! I will be coming back from any of my dental procedures. I absolutely love this place!

Five star aren’t enough for this place. I wish I could give a 20 star rating. I can’t begin to explain how amazing the staff is and the doctors. There loving and caring and they always make me feel like family. My son had his braces on exactly 3 years 11 months and 5 days. He looks amazing see the photos for the results. I’m a family of 7 and we all come here. I will never go any where else. If your not coming to SoCal then your not going to the right place. I recently moved to Los Angeles, North Hollywood area and was looking for a new dentist. I found SoCal Dental care on Google and decided to give them a try because of their great reviews. I went in on a Saturday and Dr. Shamoeil took care of me. First off I must say how convenient it was that they were open on Saturday and were able to squeeze me in last minute. The assistants quickly got me started with X rays and got me settled in the comfortable and clean office with my favorite movie. A couple minutes later in came Dr. S. He had great bedside manner, he was easy to speak with and I didnt feel judged, that i even admitted that i dont floss every night lol. After looking at my X rays, dr Shamoeil noticed a big cavity that I decided to care for that day. He also noticed a couple small ones and told me to keep a close watch on them, floss and brush regularly and use anti-cavity mouthwash so that I can keep it small in the hopes that they wont give me problems later. I loved that he was conservative and had a philosophy of keeping as much of my natural teeth as possible, as opposed to other dentists who just like to steal your money and will find any excuse to fill a tooth. The cavity i did fill was painless and gave me no problems. I am keeping an eye on my smaller cavities and go to Dr. S regularly to make sure they are Ok. So glad i found socaldental.

Love this place! Have referred lots of friends here. They are great with kids and adults. Receptionists are very sweet and helpful. There are a few dentists here and over the years I’ve had some Face(teeth) Time with all of them. Never have I been disappointed! They are very patient and don’t mind spending a lot of time offering knowledge and options. TV in every room with a remote so you can actually control what’s on instead of being subjected to local news or the weather channel. They are also skilled with their dental weaponry. Very painless shots and they really know how to drill. This is a dentist that’ll give you several reasons to smile. Prices are very competitive and I called around before choosing them. Parking usually right on their doorstep. Oh…and they text appointment reminders…imagine your dentist texting you.

BEST DENTAL OFFICE EVER!!!! Hands down the best Dental office ever. The WHOLE staff is amazing always so welcoming and friendly. I have three kids and they have treated them all like family and have made all their dental experiences the best. They are always trying their best to accommodate me and bring them all in at the same time. My kids enjoy coming here and love the whole staff especially the doctor. I have struggled looking for a dentist! Thank you for your time and patience. I will be coming back! I searched for a few weeks for a dentist. Reading, then re-reading the reviews to make sure I was making the right choice. I finally decided this office was my number 1 choice and called. They were able to see me within the hour! I wasn’t expecting an appointment for at least a week. (Brownie points!) They were gentle and took their time. They explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable. Dr Homan was absolutely fantastic! They checked with insurance multiple times just to make sure I knew what was covered and what wasn’t. I am very pleased with the service and professionalism I received today! Do your mouth a favor and make the switch to this office! I am glad I did… Just wish I did sooner.

Root canals always suck but with Dr. Danny he made the process tolerable. 1) He made himself available during these crazy times, while Corona Virus quarantines are at their peak. 2) He personally checked my insurance’s authorization to see if he could just complete the whole procedure at once instead of making me come in again and have to get the anesthesia again, etc. 3) He communicated what he was doing throughout the procedure and gave me updates. 4) He took the time to answer all my questions, even the ones unrelated to the root canal I had that day. Overall the process was fairly quick. I walked in at 9 am, filled out the paperwork, they numbed me up, I got my root canal and was ready to walk out by 10:45 am. Also shout out to Imelda for calling in my antibiotics to my pharmacy the day before to make my recovery easier. The whole staff here are welcoming and pleasant to deal with. Thanks for being awesome guys SoCal Dental!

This is my usual dentist ever since my family moved near the area and I’ve really enjoyed my experience here! It’s a small place so some of the people know me as a regular which is nice. Atmosphere is usually friendly, I’ve never really had a negative experience here. Now for the actual dentisting, I’ve only gotten cleanings and cavities filled but the job they do is great. All the equipment is new and everything looks clean all the time. They even have a television in every room so that you can watch Netflix or something while waiting or when actually getting a treatment done. It’s honestly pretty great!

I have had several terrible experiences with dental services in the past couple of years. I went on line and reviewed local dentists and ran across So Cal Dental Care. I called them up and got an appointment right away. The consultation went well and I was booked for services. I went in for a filling and a root canal. Both went drillingly well. The root canal was on the front tooth and you can’t tell which tooth was repaired. The staff are all very friendly and remember details about conversations that were had at the front counter. Dr. Shamoeil has a very gentle touch with the needle. He is very knowledgable and patient with the clients. There are two more dentists in the office. This place is absolutely amazing all the people who work here are compassionate, sensitive and happy to do their job right. From the front desk, to the assistant and all the dentists in this office. I first came to this office after being traumatized by another dentist. I was scared and I wasn’t sure if I could trust them or not but after a few visits and cautiously checking and verifying everything, they have truly gained my trust! Danny the dentist was genuinely compassionate and sensitive. Many other dentists told me I needed a root canal. I came for a visit and I even got approved with my insurance to cover it completely, but after the dentist checked me he said that it might not need a root canal and checked different options. They didn’t rush me or try to do something that I didn’t need like some other dentists in this industry are doing. Turns out it went away on its own. On another tooth he said I needed a crown but I wasn’t sure and waited and I really regretted it because they were right and I actually had to pay a lot more because I didn’t do it on time like they recommended. Hands down best place. Don’t look anywhere else. I’m really happy I finally found a place I can go to.

There’s a play area for the kiddies and when you’re in the exam room, there’s Netflix’s on a beautiful tv, awaiting you. I’ve had a crown and root canal done. My wife’s had 2 root canals done because the last dentist wasn’t a rock star as he allegedly claimed. Seems to be a common disease in LA, acclaimed rock star dentist. You don’t have to worry here, though! Crazy thing is, they’re rock stars and don’t even know !! It’s crazy, I know !

Dr. Homan Shamoeil at SoCal Dental Care is one of the most patient, straightforward and thoroughly professional doctors I have met in LA or elsewhere. He will work with you to make your dental experience as comfortable for you as possible. I had a painful broken molar, and I was not the most compliant patient but he remained calm, eventually rescheduling because I was simultaneously fighting off congestion due to allergies. He listened to and answered all my questions. He did not “upsell” me, but I opted for a deep cleaning and whitening procedure that was affordable for me after talking with him. I am very satisifed with the services I received at SoCal Dental Care. Don’t hesitate to visit and use this clinic. Highly efficient.

Dr. Homan Shamoeil is one of the best dentist I’ve ever been too, and I’ve been to quite a few. The last dentist I went to prior, did a poor job. Dr.Homan corrected it and fixed my issues! In addition, his filings are painless. I’ve always had a fear of feeling pain since it’s occurred before at a previous dentist, but the staff and Dr make you feel at home, the nurse even gave me a blanket, I almost feel asleep in the chair! Excited to have found them and will continue to see them for years to come.

This is such a great office! The first thing you see when you walk in is a very clean, large and wellwaiting room. The staff at the front desk are warm and inviting. I love that they are able to offer complete dental care in this office. My biggest complaint from my last dentist was any time I needed something other that a cleaning or filling I had to go somewhere else. SoCal dental care has specialists that work in the office. I’m a total crybaby when it comes to dental work being done. Five stars is for putting up with me which Dr Homan Shamoeil and and Yessica did throughout my entire extraction. Yes, it hurt and was very painful- however my pain tolerance is quite low. What I appreciated was being able to ask any questions I wanted to and they were patient and thorough at helping me understand what I needed and described the procedures. Dr. Homan was very good at stopping the procedure as soon as I felt pain and waiting until I was comfortable to continue the procedure. Yessica was a God send and was so gentle and comforting. Front office staff is friendly and the office is clean and welcoming! I would recommend this dentistry if you are fearful of going to the dentist.

I came to this dentist office recommended by a friend and I am glad I took her word. I had been looking for an orthodontist for a long time, I couldn’t trust anyone until this place. They have been giving me a good, well communicate service and of course awesome results with my invisalign. Best dental care in Los Angeles, hands down. You will not find a dentist in the Los Angeles area who is better with patients and does a better job with crowns, implants, etc. than Dr. Solouki and the team at SoCal Dental. I have had multiple procedures at SoCal Dental Care in recent years. And being bi-coastal, I am able to compare SoCal Dental with some of the top dental clinics (including much more expensive ones) in Los Angeles, NYC and Miami. I have to say SoCal Dental is easily the best dental care I have received. I would even fly all the way from the East Coast to L.A. just to get a crown here rather than go anyplace else. I wish I could give 10 stars! Everything about this office, the people, and of course Dr. Shamoeil, is amazing! My sister referred me to Dr. Shamoeil for my wisdom teeth. She went to him a couple years back and had no pain, no puffy ugly cheeks and it was a quick and easy experience. I was hoping for the same so i made an appt with Dr. Shamoeil. I had braces years ago and my orthodontist told me that I needed to remove my wisdom teeth pretty soon if i didnt want my teeth to get impacted. I needed to remove 2 of my wisdom teeth fairly quickly and kept putting it off for over 2 years. Needless to say, I was TERRIFIED! As soon as I sat down in the chair with Dr. Shamoeil to assess my teeth, I could sense that he knew what he was doing, and was very capable. He told me everything i needed to know, took the time to answer all of my crazy and realistic questions, and he truly cares about your comfort and your outcome. You never feel rushed, and never feel like you are just another patient. When I walked in the morning of my surgery I was shaking because i was so nervous and scared, i had heard so many horror stories from friends. His team stayed by my side the entire time, making me laugh and comforting me. Then Dr. Shamoeil came in and helped me feel more calm bc he was so comforting. The tears stopped because I knew I was in great hands and everything was going to be fine. And it was! My pain was very limited, Dr S gave me a prescription to use, if needed, and i just stuck to the standard Over the Counter pain meds… i was doing fine. I did not have much swelling, maybe a bit but nothing noticeable and zero bruising. Longer story short, Dr. Shamoeil and his team are incredibly talented, so caring, and since htat expereince, i am ever confronted with a problem that needs dental attention, he is my go to guide.I am incredibly thankful that my sister referred me to Dr. Shamoeil and his team. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend him!

After being at many other dental offices I wouldn’t switch to another after coming to Dr. Shamoeil ! I had my teeth filled and my wisdom tooth pulled out and the process was fast and easy! Even as an adult I get nervous to go to a dentist and the staff here made my anxiety ease. I would express my concerns and how I was anxious to get treatment and they made me feel a lot better. I noticed they accept children too and I switched my son over as well and he is usually not reluctant for treatment but here he stayed still he did his x rays and I was shocked at how good he cooperated!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in almost 5 years & I knew it was about time. So I asked a few friends for a referral & I found Dr. Shamoeil at So Cal Dental Care. I am not a fan of dentist in general, but this was the best experience I ever had. I walked in & was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They gave me my paperwork & I was able to see the doctor within a few minutes. The doctor was kind, gentle, & explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand.
