I first became a patient at this practice in approximately 2004.  I relocated 3 hrs. to the South and unfortunately had to change dentists (much to my regret, I must say).  Upon returning to the Pinellas County area in 2017, I returned to Sokolov and Piper as a patient.  Dr. Piper and Sandy, the dentist and hygienist who ‘work’ on my dental needs, are superb practitioners!  They are  very personable, understanding and, most importantly, thorough.  They take their time to listen and respond to any questions and concerns.  The practice itself is highly organized and they return messages in a timely manner.  If you are looking for a dental practice that truly has an ‘individualized’ approach to patient care, look no further!

This office is full of wonderful staff. Not only does my husband and I go but we bring our children and they are so good with them. They make them comfortable and explain to them all they are doing. From the lovely front office ladies with big smiles to the hygienist, dental assistants and the outstanding dentist I highly recommend them. I have been to other dentist and have not had the care I do from them

I had my first appointment as a new patient a couple weeks ago and it was a very pleasant experience. Scheduling/front desk was very friendly as well as the entire staff I spoke with during my appointment. My x-rays and cleaning was very quick and efficient & Dr. Piper was very personable and friendly. I would recommend Piper Family Dentistry!

My dental insurance had changed in beginning of the new year of 2018. After reviewing the Dental offices which were preferred. I noticed that Dr. Sokolov & Dr. Piper family dental was one of the dental offices on my new plan. I was certain this is where I wanted to make my appointment and become a new patient. Dr. Sokolov was very knowledgeable and professional as for his amazing staff ! I’m extremely proud to say that Eva the denatal hygienist is very thorough and is an asset to this practice. I will be returning in 6 months for another great dental appointment.

My husband and I have been patients of Sokolov and Piper Family Denistry for about 7 years now. I usually see Sandy for my dental hygienist. She is a very caring and thorough professional. Dr. Sokolov is my usual dentist although I’ve seen Dr. Piper on occasion and have been pleased with the treatment I received from both. Dr. Sokolov knows I have had a bad experience with a local dentist and goes the extra mile to make sure I am comfortable and not in pain. He takes his time and explains everything that he is going to do. He was able to save a tooth that I was sure was going to need to be extracted. The front office staff is very efficient and the environment is clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend their practice (and have!) to anyone looking for a family dentist in the Largo/Seminole area.

Dr. Piper is the BEST! He has been my dentist since I relocated to Florida in 2003. First of all, my hygienist is superb, clearly explains the cleaning process and her observations/evaluation of my oral hygiene status. Dr. Piper is consistently pleasant and patient while he explains the results of the dental examination and any recommendations he may have. I particularly value Dr. Piper’s patient-oriented approach. He has always respected my decisions about recommendations for further treatment and I have NEVER felt pressured to go against my own preferences and decisions.

I absolutely love this dentist office. Been going there for over 4 years. I have been petrified of the dentist for years and did everything I could to avoid going, almost to the detriment of my health. But I finally gave in and went and have been going back twice a year ever since. The office is a 5 star office in terms of cleanliness, layout, and design. The staff goes overboard to treat you nicely, with patience, and to accommodate your scheduling needs. Granted I’ve never had to schedule a last minute appointment for any issues so I can’t speak to how well they would handle that. I even switched my children over to this office rather than continue them with a pediatric dentist. And they love this place. Even if my insurance didn’t cover this place, I’d continue going there. That’s how much I love this office!

I’ve had multiple visits over the past 2 years. Dr. Piper took the time to talk everything over with me, and was even able to alleviate my dental fear. Everyone in the office is friendly and I feel as though everyone’s happy to see me. I know I’m cool, but this makes me feel even cooler! I don’t mind going to the dentist and it’s because of them. Highly recommended.

Dr. Piper is very professional charming, compassionate and a conservative dentist. He writes up a plan and you decide what work you want done on your teeth, he doesn’t try to guilt you into having work done. He advises what should be done. Dr. Piper is very good at giving shots in your mouth I never feel the needle. His office staff is the best. They are very friendly and are also compassionate. They treat you like you are part of their family. His office always is very clean and sanitized, the office has the latest equipment. My husband and I have been to a lot of dentist in our life and we highly recommend Dr. Piper and his staff.

Dr. Piper and Staff are amazing! If you are looking for a better smile, this is your place! I just completed my Invisalign treatment this morning and I am so happy with the results. If you are looking for a great Dental Hygienist, this is the place. Eva goes above and beyond to get your teeth sparkling. I cannot wait until my first cleaning without my buttons. Lauren knows your up to date account information and is always eager to help you with questions. Dr. Piper and his team are some of the best in town. Lauren handles all things insurance and I followed her to this office. We are so glad we did. My husband, teenager and preteen also see Dr. Piper and prefer this office over their pediatric dentist. We refer all of our friends to this office. He has a new hygienist and I hope she stays for a long time because I was so calm and at ease during my last visit (June 2021).

I’ve been a patient here for like 10 years now! They are fantastic. I tried several dentist offices before them. They are nice, professional, and good at their jobs! I love my hygienist Sandy. Several people recommended this office to me when I first moved here and I’ve recommended it to people over the years. If you’re looking for a dentist, I highly recommend them!

I have gone to Dr. Piper for a number of years now. I have been 100% pleased with his work. He is always pleasant and eager to please. His work is done to perfection, and I have never had follow up problems with any of it. Susan is also a wonderful hygienist. She does a great job, and is very friendly. Even though my teeth are beautifully cleaned, she works so gently that my mouth is never sore after a visit to her. The office staff is nice, and the office is lovely and up to date.

Im new to the area and did my research, and there’s a reason they have good ratings on health grades. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The place is clean and modern without being intimidating. They offer things, but aren’t pushy. I was hesitant to get 2 fillings redone that aren’t that old… concerned about an up-sell, but when I asked if they could show me why they felt the work was needed, they quickly and kindly put my mind at ease. It’s a nice blend of what I think makes up a good office. AND while I was having a filling redone and my mouth was numb, the tech didn’t make me feel bad for chomping on her finger.

Great dentist! I moved away from Tampa four years ago, and was just talking about how I wish I could find a dental office that was a great as this office. The staff is all very friendly and professional, and the dentists are both very friendly, detailed, and trust worthy. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist!

I’ve been going to this dentist – specifically Sokolov – for over 20 years (yikes has it been that long??). Even though I’ve moved away I still come back here because these guys are the best around. Every other dentist I go to I feel like I’m going to the auto mechanic where they inevitably find SOMETHING wrong (usually a cavity). Or I just have to get the deep cleaning – a regular cleaning won’t do (which of course is more expensive). Even though I now live two and a half hours away, I still come back to this office because I was unimpressed with the dentists in my area and felt they would just say anything to me to make a quick buck. I trust Sokolov because I feel that they’re not money hungry and will just be honest with me about my teeth. I have teeth stains, and while the dentist does mention it, when I say “naaa I’m good” he doesn’t pressure me. The hygienists are all great here too. You can trust these guys. Also, a sign of a good dentist is when it’s hard to make a last minute appointment. And it is. Try to book stuff in advance because they fill up – and for good reason.

This was my first time to Dr. Piper and I was very impressed with the office, the staff and the Doc. Everyone was friendly and patient and answered all my questions. I really liked that I could fill out all the new patient and insurance information online ahead of time so there was no wait when I arrived for my appointment. This appointment was for the X-rays and exam and Dr. Piper spent a lot of time with me to make sure I had all my questions answered. He made recommendations based on my situation and shared with me details about my dental health that I was unaware of. That’s saying a lot because I’m no spring chicken. I’ve been to a lot of dental visits in my life. I’ll be getting a cleaning later this week so I can speak more on the cleaning experience with the hygienist after that. I’m expecting to have an equally good experience. Dr. Piper strikes me as one who will only hire the best qualified and personable staff.
