Being new to Greensboro I had no idea where to take my daughter. I found Dr Ishrani through a google search and her reviews were great. I took my daughter there and was so happy with the outcome. Everyone there is so nice and so sweet but more importantly they really know how to relate to kids and make them feel at ease. What a wonderful experience! The best of the best. My 5-year-old daughter had a traumatic experience at her previous dentist and Dr. Isharani and staff immediately calmed our fears at our first visit this summer. She took the time to listen, empathize, and formulate a plan. My daughter’s dental surgery was this morning, and we are over the moon pleased with the results! The procedure was smooth and my girl’s mouth looks amazing. Dr. Isharani kept me informed and comfortable and even sent us home with a little pink box for the tooth fairy to take care of tonight! I cannot recommend this practice enough

Dr. Sona and her team are awesome! Today my 4.5 year old went for sealants, and at first she was reserved and shy – and finally confessed that she didn’t like the room we were in. (Oh, to be 4 years old again, right???) Anyway, Giemilyn sprang into action and switched the room right away in order to make my daughter feel more comfortable, and everything was smooth from there (so much so that my daughter didn’t even need nitrous to help her relax). I am so appreciative of this team and their work to make sure my daughter’s needs are met and her teeth and gums are clean and healthy. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else

Dr. Sona and her staff are excellent. This was the first visit to dentist for my daughter who is almost three. My wife and I were not expecting her to co-operate! We were blown away that Dr. Sona and her staff were able to make our daughter feel comfortable enough to have a dental cleaning and thorough dental examination. You will also find the office is very nice and calming. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to any parent.

Dr. Sona and her staff are amazing. Our daughter is non verbal autistic, with sensory issues, Pica, and Sever GERD. The doctor has made it a point to learn about our daughter and her conditions. I know without a doubt she will be taken care of by everyone. She recently had oral surgery, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Would highly recommend her to anyone with special needs children.

We selected this practice based on a wonderful presentation given by Dr Sona at a moms’ group I’m a member of. She left such an impression that my husband agreed we’d give her a shot. The staff was extremely kind and professional! With our daughters being only 12 months old, I was thoroughly impressed with her patience and loved the fact that the exam was conducted while they were in my lap as I sat knee to knee with Dr Sona as opposed to attempting to keep someone so little still in a standard examination chair. We look forward to our next visit and with time, we know the girls will also!

Dr.Sona was great with my 1 year old. Her 1st dental visit was phenomenal! She had a strategy that included me as the parent to examine my daughters new teeth. The check in was great, the nurse was informative & great. My daughter was allowed to listen to her favorite music (five little ducks) while she was examined. It was an educational experience & there were toys that were age appropriate while we waited & meaningful take always for her being a good patient. Aria & I would recommend Dr Sona & her team without hesitation!

Three years ago my husband and I had our first son. When we were looking for a pediatric dentist we wanted it to be kid friendly from the moment we walked through the door and we wanted to see that the staff was patient and understanding with kids. Took my 2 year old in for his first appointment. I had a very good experience. The people on staff are friendly and easy to talk to. My kid was able to be his usual lively self. This helped me while I talked with Dr. Isharani and her assistant. They pulled up his favorite TV show on YouTube while they explained his dental care needs at this age. Also had little car toys and rattles. This is a super warm and professional practice. I would definitely recommend it. I came out learning how to better assist my kid’s oral hygiene. And my kid was able to enjoy himself!

My daughter had her first ever dentist visit today and though it took her a while to get warmed up in the office, on the way home she was very happy and even excited to go back and try and sit in the chair for her next visit. As a new mom of two with social anxiety our experience was very calming (even with both kids crying at one point), everyone was very attentive to the situation and helped my daughter feel comfortable and get through the exam with minimal tears. I brought my 1 year old son here for his first appointment two days ago and we absolutely love them! I was traumatized personally by my pediatric dentist as a child so I intend on being very careful that the same doesnt happen to my son, I feel secure that he will be treated very well with Dr. Isharani! The staff is SO friendly and helpful, they brought up a lot of baby tooth tips that my husband and I found very helpful. Dr. Isharani showed us how to properly brush and floss Malakai’s teeth, they had Sesame Street (his favorite) playing just above him to help keep him calm and happy. They gave him a toy when we were leaving so he went from a fussy baby to a happy baby very quickly. They even took a photo for us of his first dental visit! This place is absolutely wonderful, no complaints at all! Oh, and for the parents did I mention they have a Keurig with many great options in the waiting room, I very much appreciate that they offer apple ciders for those of us who don’t drink caffeine! <3 <3 <3

My son had a bad infection in his mouth and we tried a couple of dentists and to say it nicely, it was traumatizing. He never wanted to go back so seeing a dentist has been a HUGE deal for us. Dr. Isharani has been nothing short of a miracle! When she did his surgery he was in pain for ONE day. I couldn’t say enough! Im so glad we found Dr. Isharani! We have been looking for a pediatric dentist that could meet the needs of my children who have anxiety when its time to have dental work completed. With an inviting atmosphere and a friendly staff my children actually had fun at the dentist! My son’s regular dentist was away on vacation and Dr Sona was the dentist on call. We called on a Friday night and someone contacted us on Saturday morning to assist. We were able to text pics and get assistance from the dentist. We were given instructions to get my son through the weekend. They scheduled him an appointment for 8am on Monday. Upon arrival, everyone was very nice and the customer service was excellent. Dr. Sona is very nice, professional, and great with kids. She made my son feel comfortable and took the time to explain everything to him before his procedure. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a pediatric dentist.

My 5 year old had about 12 cavities and needed a ton of work, but since she was so anxious and apprehensive we had to put her under anesthesia to do all of the work. Dr Sona and her staff made the process so easy. My daughter went to sleep after blowing up a balloon and never knew about the IV or tubes associated with the anesthesia. I would recommend her for children who are apprehensive about the dentist.

Our son, Brooks, has Down Syndrome and has never been able to sit through a dentist appt. He’s 13 years old and had his teeth cleaned throughly for the first time a year ago when he started seeing Dr Sona. Other dentists had tried sedation and putting him in body wraps and nothing had calmed him down until we started seeing Dr Sona. Her staff is calm and friendly and makes everyone feel at ease. Brooks had his 6 month checkup Thursday and was excited to go see Dr Sona. He now lays patiently and let’s them work on his teeth. It’s like a miracle compared to his past dentist experiences. Excellent! My daughter had her first dental experience at another pediatric dentist’s office and it was awful. She was held down screaming by people who claimed to be able to make the dental experience a positive one for children. We had the complete opposite experience here! Time was taken for her to explore the room and get used to the hygienist and dentist and everything was explained to her in a way a two year old could understand before they did anything. The waiting room is so kid friendly, they thought of everything, brain building activities and plenty of stimuli for children while they wait, beverages for tired parents doing their best. Very clean and tidy office. Staff was friendly, patient and understanding. We brought out 2 1/2 yr old boy and 9 month old baby in and they were able to communicate with us over both of the kids noise. Dr. Ishrani was able to remove hardened plaque off of my child’s tooth when I literally can’t even get him to stand still to let me brush them so she definetly has a gift ! Dr. Isharani and her staff are amazing. My son has been to his 5th visit and I have been thoroughly pleased with how calm, how attentive, and how sweet everyone is. Prior to his visits, I always talk about it days /weeks ahead, he gets excited, and then when he gets in the exam room, he just loses it but they work with him quickly enough so that by the time it’s over he is calmer. They reassure him that he’s ok an they talk through what they are doing. Although he is usually crying hysterically, I think that’s really important. His last visit was amazing. He finally went in calm. He got a tiny bit apprehensive at first about getting in the chair but was quickly calmed. He had an amazing visit and this time did his entire visit from the chair and not on my lap. He had x-rays for the first time and just had a great visit. I would recommend to anyone seeking a pediatrician dentist! I am so thank for being recommended to this amazing practice and plan to stay with them for years to come
