Kindest and most friendly dentist and dental office I have been to in my many years on this planet. Dr. Sona is thoughtful, warm, beyond pleasant, and a great dentist. My teeth are clean and I won’t be avoiding my next checkup. Great experience at the front of the office and in the chair. My highest recommendation if you have a bit of anxiety seeing the dentist (as I do).

This dentist’s office was great. Probably up there with the best care I’ve received from a dentist and they have the latest technology to be as efficient as possible. For my first appointment, they had me come in a little early to let them know my history and what I was seeking. All for the sake of being able to better their treatment and cater to my concerns. I was happy to see they cared. They have plenty of options to care for you such as numbing mouth wash, anesthesia if you’re not keen on visiting but still have to, whitening treatments, teeth aligning plans, etc. Pretty much whatever your concerns may be, they will listen and do their best to accommodate. I recommend them and appreciated their care. The only thing I think they can improve on was my wait time to have the dentist see me after I was done with the hygienist but overall was satisfied with them.

Due to a crippling phobia of dentists I avoided them for a decade. The result being that I then needed A LOT of work. I chose soothing because the dentists were well qualified, they offered an in house plan, they had transparency on-line in regard to their pricing, and they’re near bart. I liked that they made it easy for me to sit down with a calculator and work out exactly how much it was going to run all together and they provided me with charts. I felt they took the patients point of view into consideration- too often you don’t get that. So yeah, now my mouth is fixed. I did it! Dr. Saeidi was nothing but patient, informative, and excellent at her craft. I’ve had less compassionate/effective psychotherapists. Evidently, I have some challengingly short molars that presented an advanced difficulty level in terms of being fitted with crowns and she handled it without hesitation all the while fielding my epic apprehension. I will say, it is a fast paced office, that’s their business model so everybody there has to be on point at all times, there’s not a lot of hanging out. As such, I always came in with my questions prepared (as you should do for any medical situation) and they were always prepared to answer them comprehensively and then move along to get the job done. I’m very happy to recommend Dr Saeidi, Dr Dehghani, and Stella Misyuk (hygienist). And the dental assistants are excellent too.

I’ve been going to Soothing Dental for about 2.5 years and everyone who works there is always super welcoming and attentive. But special props to Stella who cleans my teeth and my dentist Dr. Saeidi who has done some of the more complicated fillings I’ve had to have in my life. I broke the corner off my upper front tooth when I was little and have had it filled in twice by other dentists in the past and have never been completely satisfied by the filling. It’s in a very visible spot in my mouth and the filling is usually either been too big or too small or not the right color. But Dr. Saeidi fixed this filling during my last visit and I walked out finally proud to show off my smile for the first time in years! She’s so fast, so attentive to details, and makes sure you’re 100% satisfied before you’re out the door. I recommend Soothing Dental to all my friends and colleagues – and you should as well. You’ll get a credit to your account for anyone you recommend who ends up choosing Soothing Dental as their dental practice. Practically my whole office comes here now. There are tons of other perks and promotions that I’m always pleasantly surprised by when I’m in there. They come across as a very ‘modern’ practice with a great online portal and payment center which makes setting up appointments, paying for insurance, etc. really easy. Definitely recommend!!

I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 12+ years due to moving around the world but also some pretty traumatic dental experiences that just made me anxious/scared about going. So I just kept making excuses and putting it off until yesterday. Yesterday I had a check-up and clean which was thorough. My teeth were x-rayed, history discussed and the clean made a visible difference. The check-up identified I had 3 cavities! Today (yep, the next day) I came back and got them fixed. No dentist in 12+ years and now twice in 2 days. I was apprehensive but Dr Saeidi was amazing. Made me feel totally at ease from the very beginning. Friendly, acknowledged my anxiety/fear, clearly explained what was going to happen and the offer of over-ear Sony noise reduction headphones that I plugged into my iPhone just wrapped it all up. The procedure went longer than planned because my cavities weren’t straight forward but I didn’t feel a thing. Honestly, not a thing. All along I was reassured, the work was done efficiently (although it took 90mins) and Dr. Saeidi made me feel totally at ease. I can’t be more positive about my experience. Thank you Dr Saeidi.

I want to start off by saying that this is a place that helps you get rid of the fear of going to the dentist. The staff is very professional. They will make sure you are comfortable throughout your whole appointment, from nice dentist chairs that provide a back massage throughout your time there, to the doctors making sure that you have no pain, to having a VR movie experience while the doctor performs whatever work needs to be done in your mouth. They make going to the dentist fun. Another point that really stuck out to me was that they also were out there to educate me on best practices on preventative care. They took the time to answer all my questions that I have been curious for years. Honestly you will not see going to the dentist the same after going to Soothing Dental in SF. I heard they have other locations but I have not check them out. I actually look forward to going to the dentist for my check up now, with no fear.

In the middle of the night I broke a tooth and needed emergency dental assistance. I searched anywhere near by the I could make an appointment online and l was not having any luck until I came to Soothing Dental. Their platform and app is incredibly user friendly. I was able to book an appointment at 4:00am in the morning online for the same day. When I arrived to the office I was blown away by how comfortable and calm the environment was (I get really bad dental anxiety). They had tea and water, the staff was very nice. All the form I needed to fill out  I did on their app before I arrived, and I was promptly seen by one of the staff. They have been so accommodating to my needs and they accept pretty much all PPO plans. If you don’t have insurance, they have plans of their own that you can sign up for at a very reasonable price. They are the only place I will to from now on. Thank you Soothing Dental Team SF!.

I’ve been coming here for 7 or 8 years (since moving to the City), and have nothing but good things to say about them!  Stella is a boss, she’s the best hygienist I’ve ever had, very friendly, all smiles, no nonsense.  I’m in and out in 20-25 minutes usually, and when there’s no patient ahead of me she’s always ready to go early if I want it. Fair to say I’m not a dentist person.  Before coming here had my wisdom teeth out, and the surgeon clipped a nerve leaving the lower left side of my mouth permanently numb, so I had trust issues galore before meeting everyone at Soothing Dental.  Now I actually look forward to coming and getting my teeth cleaned (the praise I get for flossing notwithstanding). Can’t speak to the cost (insurance covers everything I need), however I’ve never been up-sold.  One small cavity they quickly (and painlessly!) took care of, but other than that no extra work has been push on me.  One thing in particular I like about the team is that they encourage you to take an interest in your own dental care (after all, they are your teeth!), and explain the reason certain things are happening with your teeth (e.g. build up of plaque in certain areas) and how to fix it for the next visit.  I’ve recommended them to a number of friends, and will be going back as long as I live here in the city.

Soothing Dental was truly a wonderful experience.  I am a new patient and from the start of the process to receiving the actual dental work, the staff was beyond exceptional.  Very professional, friendly, accommodating to their patient needs. Dr. Sona Saeidi was truly amazing.  Being a person with a fear of shots, I didn’t feel nothing and the procedure which was very extensive went smoothly and quickly.  I would recommend this dental office to anyone who want to experience dental in the new century.  Wow, is All I have to say……..I’m looking forward to completing my dental work with Soothing Dental. I have had to see many dentists in the last few years for I tooth I lost and one that broke. I have gone through an implant, a root canal, crowns, and veneers that were not done correctly. It was a nightmare going to the dentist and all that changed when I met Dr. Saeidi. She had to redo the crown for my broken tooth and the veneers for my 4 front teeth. I have never felt such confidence in going to the dentist. Her work is outstanding. I’ve gotten very picky with the aesthetics of my front teeth and she has very patiently worked with me until I feel comfortable with the look. Most importantly, all this process has been painless! I wish I had known her from the beginning of my treatment. On top of her being a top of the line Dr., the office staff is amazing and very helpful! 100% recommended.

I had two visits at the Soothing Dental this year and both were five-star experiences to me. Earlier this year, Dr. Saeidi cemented a crown for me and her work was flawless. I also got a root canal done by Dr. Dehghani recently which was another phenomenal experience. I have been satisfied with the results of my dental work so far. Both doctors are highly skilled and professional, explain everything thoroughly and make the patients feel at ease and comfortable. The staff of the clinic are also super friendly and helpful.
