If you’re like me, it’s difficult to make a decision on dental care, or medical care in general. There’s so many options, and many friends and family willing to give opinions on their experiences.  Which is helpful, but doesn’t always pan out for my needs or the needs of my family.  I didn’t grow up in the Mobile area.  This team has an office in Mobile, and an office in Daphne, which first appealed to me as well as the fact they are in my insurance network.  I grew up being self concious about my smile. I had an overbite, and the teeth that were visible during my smile weren’t straight. I never had braces, and although I had a good dental provider, the solution was to extract teeth over what my family could afford for proper correction.  My youngest son inherited my genes in the teeth department. At 37 years old, and when my son turned 14, it was time on the advice of my new local dentist to have a consultation……..I was nervous, but excited for my son.  I felt if it came to a financial decision, I would at least be able to sacrifice my own goal, for him to enjoy life with a better smile. It didn’t hurt to ask I thought. We started care with a good orthodontist, who ended up retiring early into our treatment. This prompted our search which brought us to SAL Ortho.  I regret not starting our treatment with Dr. Langley, Dr. McDuffie, and Dr. O’Neil.  This team, and thier staff are incredible.  The associates are more than friendly, the embrace you as family. The Doctors are more than experts, they bring professionalism to a whole new level. Each Doctor is meticulous in the treatment, and educate patients on exactly what they are doing, what they have planned, and how they are going to give you the greatest smile you could ever imagine. I was thrilled for my son, but when I saw how affordable, and how Dr. Langley had a specific plan to give me a smile I always thought wouldn’t be possible, I was ready to commit. My oldest son just learned he would need treatment, and there was never a doubt who we would consult. Today, my youngest son and I had our braces removed, and we signed up my oldest son to begin his journey. For anyone who has ever considered cosmetic dentistry, but thought it was too late, or too expensive, or if you have a child who may need to consider treatment, you owe it to yourself and your child to enlist the services of the best team in South Alabama. Don’t wait another day, week, year……time ticks on, and the only thing that grows is your regret that you didn’t do it sooner.  I’m not being paid for this review, well maybe not monetarily…….I and my son were paid with a wonderful smile that we will enjoy for the rest of our life, and that to me is priceless…

The staff at South Alabama Orthodontics are amazing. Everybody at the office is so friendly and caring. I had a lot of questions and concerns throughout my treatment and they listen and patiently answer every one of them. I was somewhat of a difficult case but everyone there made me feel at ease. I truly appreciate everything that Dr. Langley, Dr. O’Neil and the staff has done for me. I highly recommend SAO! I will definitely miss seeing their faces every few weeks.
