I don’t ever write reviews but I have to about this place! I am terrified of the dentist and I actually can’t wait to go back to this place. They were the nicest group of people and made me feel so welcomed and not scared at all. They took their time with me and explained everything they were doing and made me feel so comfortable. I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

South Philly Dental is terrific ! Dr Kim is an excellent dentist & very personable as well. He explains things- smiles, (not grumpy like many dentists )….& the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was gentle & did a great job. The office is immaculately clean !— And–the office staff is soo very nice & efficient (always kind & helpful)- & again, Dr. Kim is an excellent dentist.! Going to the dentist is not exactly a pleasant experience- but, coming to South Philly dental will make it less stressful.- but an excellent dentist & an excellent staff makes this place exceptional ! I highly recommend South Philly Dental to anyone- I have been to many dentists over the years & you will not find many places like this- If you need a dentist now- Dr. Kim & South Philly Dental is the place to go.–! Five stars all the way !

Clean, professional, friendly, and painless dentistry. I lived in fear of the dentist for many years and this place has changed my view. Dr. Kim is personable and cares about his work. Cesar is a great receptionist and is on top of everything. And the dental hygienists are thorough and understanding. An awesome environment all around.

Stephanie the hygienist is awesome. Cleans my teeth fast and nearly pain free. I seen another review of someone complaining of pain. I don’t think they know poor dental hygiene and previous poor cleanings would cause the pain. People please get your teeth cleaned often, then future visits won’t hurt. The more junk you have built-up on your teeth the more they will need to clean off.

I’ve been a patient at the South Philly Dental for over 6 years and I love it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The office was renovated into a modern update office, not like the old dentist office I went to. I went to this office with a problem because my previous dentist could not figure out what was wrong with me. Dr. Kim, who was my treating dentist at the new office, he told me that have a small cavity and is on the verge on having another cavity so I needed to floss more often. Dr. Kim did my fillings and told me how to take care of my teeth. I flossed as recommended and guess what? The tooth that was on the verge on of decay went away. I went for my routine cleaning and exam every 6 months as recommended. I also recommended my family to come here because the office offers a plan for patient who does not have dental insurance. $150 for 2 cleaning, all x-rays and exam, then gives you discount on everything else, I think that’s a great deal. Every time I referred my somebody here, I would receive $20 credit which I love because these credit will pay for my future treatment such as my in between cleaning. I always leave the office feeling fresh and clean in my mouth so I would recommend everybody to go there and hope you are satisfied as I am.

My experience here has been wonderful. The doctors and staffs are excellent! I came in as an emergency patient, I hadn’t been to the dentist for over 5 years so I was extremely nervous. The doctor was exceptional, he made time for me to complete an emergency root canal. It was painless from start to finish! Now, I come here for my routine visits (every 6 months visit) so if anything was wrong it would be taken care of right away. My family and friends all come here now and they love it.

Just had the most satisfying dental care experience at South Philly Dental. It has been a while since I had my last dental check up and cleaning due to a couple reasons, mostly slacking (who hasn’t, right?). At 11:30am today, as I was thinking about how I need to take care of body and calling to schedule medial appointments, I realized I needed a dental care too. Not knowing where to go, I googled for an office in South Philadelphia. A few came up. As I read through some offices, South Philly Dental office stood out. When I called, I didn’t think I could get an appointment within the same day. To my surprise, I was scheduled for cleaning and consultation at 1:45pm. Came in and was greeted by a pleasantly young gentleman, and within minutes I was taken by nice dental hygienist, Jane, who took care of me thoroughly. The Dentist was very nice too. The office is warm, cleaned, beautifully designed and decorated. Anyone needed a dental care, check this office out. Out best and most beautiful appearance is our smile. Having healthy teeth definitely helps make our smile even more beautiful. So why not taking 30 minutes every six months to have professional service while continue to clean and floss our teeth so they stay healthy. If our work cover dental plans why not using them? If not, Philadelphia Public Health Centers offer dental care. Let’s take care of our mind, body (including teeth) and spirits so we can live a healthy life.

Dr.Kim and his staff are very professional. I do not like going to the dentist because I am not A big fan of pain, well Dr. Kim makes sure that you do not experience any kind of pain I have been A patient for 9 or 10 years and would never go to any other Dentist You can always count on the girls at the front desk to great you with A smile. The woman and men that work with Dr Kim know exactly what tools he needs and they never leave your side.
