I have had great dental care my whole life and have been going to Dr. Cook for the last 17 years. I cannot say enough about how excellent my experience has been at this office. He is gentle, patient and pays great attention to the finest details in his work. He has a very practical approach to any recommended work and explains things thoroughly. I have recommended him to both family and friends and they have been happy as well.

My Wife & I and our children, 17, 8 & 7, been visiting Southdale Family Dentistry for almost 16 years now. Dr. Cook & his team are passionate about their work & they take the time to build a relationship with you in order to better understand your needs as a patient. They make great suggestions for care and take the time to explain the details for any procedure that they suggest but perhaps most importantly, they know how to work with the insurance companies to maximize your use of the benefit. Kris is our favorite hygienist there, make sure to ask for her when you set up your cleanings! Top notch dental care here. We’re customers for life!

Dr. Cook has been attending to my teeth for many years and has done a wonderful job on fitting several crowns and even replacing some that had been done rather badly by a past dentist. His staff are very caring and friendly and the regular cleaning is pleasant and thorough. I would highly recommend Dr. Cook to anyone who wants a high standard of treatment.

I’ve been a client for several years now, and they are Amazing! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and they remember you. Kris is the best hygienist I’ve ever had – gentle and really thorough. Dr. Cook is a master of his craft as well as being gentle and kind. Everyone is willing to answer any questions you may have, and make a great effort to work with you. I really cannot say enough good things about this business.

The entire staff in the clinic makes you feel welcome once you come in the door. I have my teeth cleaned routinely every 4 months and I look forward to coming in to have it done. Everything being done is well explained and Kris is fabulous. She is so professional and makes the visit very pleasant. Dr. Cook is very caring and knowledgable. I have no hesitation referring friends and family to the clinic for their dental needs.

I wish I could give ten stars. Really amazing dentist and staff here! I never thought I’d be able to be calm and make it through a dentist appointment without having a panic attack. Dr. Cook is gentle and patient, as is Kris, my hygienist. They are both attentive and listen closely. Truly professional! I hadn’t been to a dentist in 25 years due to overwhelming fear. When I broke a tooth, they fit me in and worked with me through my panic attacks. I’ve been going to the office regularly for ten years now and really can’t say enough good about them. They’ve been so great that I no longer need to be sedated to have my teeth cleaned, a big step for me. Kris is really attuned to any change in breathing or body language and always responds right away to make sure I’m okay. Dr. Cook is always patient with me, is gentle, and is a calming presence. He listens to my concerns, works with me with sedation when necessary, and makes the experience as stress free as possible for me. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Routine cleaning, and replacing a broken tooth. Next was to determine the best way to repair the problem of missing teeth. We discussed several options. Dr. Cook always listens to and answers my questions. In the end he usually (always) seems to have the right solutions to the problems. I have been a satisfied customer for years and have referred friends. All office personnel are also extremely helpful and pleasant as well. Great value is received per dollar spent. Best of all, I have never felt any pain in any procedure he has performed. That was NO.1 on my list of priorities. Just keep doing what you are doing!! Jerry Dykhoff

I don’t know if it is the calming interior of the foyer, the beaming smile from the receptionist or leakage of some of the ‘laughing gas’ from the other parts of the office*, but I felt very relaxed from the moment I entered this dentistry. All the personnel are kind and patient, answering questions without making me feel stupid for asking. And of course, there’s Dr Cook. His professionalism is on the same high level as his approach to helping those of us with memories of THAT scene in ‘Marathon Man’ as our only link to a dental office experience. He explains procedure to help you know what to expect, is able to interpret your questions despite the cotton wadding stuck in your mouth, and takes great pains, er, effort to make certain that your experience is trauma free. This is the place to go if you want top notch, caring attention. *just kidding to make an interesting metaphor; all equipment and materials are in excellent safety and working order.

The staff at Southdale Family Dentistry are all so helpful and friendly. They are more than accommodating and have seen my kids grow up and beyond. Dr. Cook is very careful and proficient. Several of my children and also now as they are young adults have had some dental issues that are a bit more complicated and I have felt like he has had the most up to date and trusted treatment plans for them. I also went through the invisalign treatment with him and straightened some teeth and bite that was changing as the years went along for me. Glad I did, very happy with the results. We could not have chosen a better practice to trust our dental health with!
