I have had super sensitive teeth in certain areas of my mouth for a long time. A lot of dentists couldn’t figure out why. One dentist even said I needed a root canal?? I am glad I got many opinions and finally landed in Dr. Hanookai’s office because she literally told me there is nothing wrong with my teeth and I DEFINITELY do NOT need a root canal.She said it had to do with my bite. She did some tests and worked her magic and fixed my bite. It’s already been a few weeks after my appointment and my sensitivity is so minimal to not even there. She said it takes time for it to completely go away but I already feel so much better. Tooth sensitivity is the worst and she finally gave me relief.

I went to this dental group by using a coupon and I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were the best dental care professionals I’ve ever been to. Dr. Hanookai has always provided exceptional and professional care with a personal touch that you don’t always find with dentists. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and are great at making you feel comfortable. I have, and will continue to, recommend this great group of professionals.

After living in Los Angeles for a few years, I’ve finally decided to find a dentist in the area when my wisdom teeth started giving me trouble. I was very nervous about the process, but the staff at Southland Dental made it very easy and worry-free. They answered any questions I had and addressed all my concerns about the procedure. They checked in with me the day after, and showed they cared about my recovery.I never had any dental work other than a routine cleaning before so during my recovery I got worried the healing process, and whenever I had a concern the staff were happy to help. Dr. Hanookai even answered questions I had over the weekend, when their offices were closed.All in all, the staff and experience was great. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in the area looking for any work done.

Came in to Southland Dental Care looking for a new dentist I am a person that hates to go to dentist But walking into Southland dental care it felt welcoming. My initial visit and was with Dr. Abaian She mentioned that I needed a couple of crowns and 1 extraction. When I heard the word extraction i’ve completely freaked out to that was not something I was expecting then he mentioned that Dr. Hanookai  is one of the greatest surgeons, she would be able to put me under IV sedation to be more comfortable. I had my extraction done a week ago and it was one of the greatest experience at a dental office. I had to repost yelp keeps removing my review….

First thing I noticed is that all of the employees of Southland Dental Care were extremely personable and friendly. They did a great job at making the whole experience feel casual and comfortable. I actually had to laugh to myself about how comfortable I felt with the staff. They treated me as if i was family. The whole time i found myself chatting it up with everyone there. I was very impressed with the level of updated technology, the excellent customer service from the employees, and the professionalism and friendliness of the Doctors. Great people, great service! I’ve already recommended the place to a handful of friends and family.

If your looking for a new dentist or looking for any kind of cosmetic dental work then this is the place to go!I’m really picky about anything that has to do with medical stuff and I’ve been looking for a great dentist office to always go to and I have finally found it.I’ve been wanting to get some veneers for my 2 front teeth for the longest because I chipped them when I was really young but I was always nervous about them looking to fake…. I can’t describe to you how happy I am that I finally got them done over here and how natural they look. I swear, nobody can tell I got work done on them. They really take a lot of pride in there work and are very patient. They never rush anything and if you have any concerns (like I did) they will walk you thru everything and make sure your happy!
Another huge plus is that they have financing so you can really afford to get whatever you want and don’t have to wait.You have to give this place a try!!!!! I swear you won’t regret it!!!!!!

Dr. Hanookai performed gum whitening on me months ago, and my smoker’s purple gum (heavy) miraculously has turned healthy looking light pink and stayed that way ever since. Dr. Abaian is also super-freindly and did an amazing job placing porcelain veneers on my two front chipped teeth (which no one can tell that they are veneers). I had a very traumatic experience with my previous dentist (damaging my nerve while performing simple filling procedure), and despite my anxiety, this place makes me feel a lot less anxious. The receptionists are super friendly and super understanding/accommodating if you need to re-schedule and etc

I have been seeing Dr. Hanookai for many years. Dr. Hanookai and Dr. Abaian are the kindest, most gentle and accommodating dentists I have ever worked with. When you enter the office you feel like your in a spa waiting room with a beautiful tea and coffee station and comfortable chairs. The rooms are SUPER clean and peaceful. The prices and very reasonable and the service they give you is PRICELESS!  If your looking for an amazing dental office, you should really check this place out.

This dental office works miracles and keeps you smiling! It is not just the enthusiasm/positivity everyone has when you walk in, but it is their hyper-focused dedication they have to your care and seeing you smile when you leave. I swear I have never enjoyed going to a dentist visits more!A little testament to why southland dental care is the best… first and foremost Anna works there! My treatment would not have been possible without her. She continues to go above and beyond to make my dream smile come true! Anna has a wide breadth of expertise in dentistry! Not only does she handle administration flawlessly (getting you in on time, scheduling/rescheduling, finding alternatives, speaking with you on what to expect for next time, payment plans, etc..) but I can ask her ANY question regarding my treatment and she gives me an answer to the best of her knowledge. She handles any problem or situation with ease and works with you to find a solution. Best of all, Anna will ALWAYS follow up with you which I hugely appreciate having an impacted class/work schedule. She is absolutely wonderful in clearly communicating with patients, and excellent at what she does! I am so grateful for all her hard work during the course of my treatment. The office is truly lucky to have her!

Dr. Hanookai did major dental work for me including new veneers, sinus lift, many implants, crowns, etc.They and their staff made the whole process go very easy. It is a warm, clean, and friendly atmosphere.I have beautiful new teeth after many years of not having.Not only are they the best at what they do, but they are genuinely sincere and kind individuals who really care about their patients.I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Does anyone else hate going to the dentist as much as I do? I swear it gives me anxiety. But thank god for Dr. Hanookai because she makes laying on that dentist chair a lot easier. Her smiles warms the room and when she talks to you she makes sure you’re calm, okay and comfortable before starting any work. She will check in on you throughout the work to make sure you’re okay. She is very knowledgable and skilled. I had one of my wisdom tooth pulled out. I was barely swollen! The office also works with you in terms of payments and signing up for care credit was easy as well. The whole process just went smoothly from A-Z. Healing process was also fast and easy. Definitely recommend!!

Just had another amazing experience at the Southland Dental Care. My dental implant surgery went fantastic. Dr. Delaram Hanookai is truly a genius at her craft and the staff is just as amazing. They make this dental journey much more comfortable for me and do everything they can to make it as easy as possible. I’m so excited to see the end results. Thank you guys. I have found my dental service family.

Last 20 years I have been at so many dental office and treated by so many doctors  but Southland Dental Care is a really the best dental office. Their office is very high tech and clean. Also, you will be welcomed by friendly staff and of course the great Doctors. Ms. Hanookai is a great doctor and very kind and caring. I am so grateful to know her, last three years she did three implants for me and I am very pleased with my initial consult and going over all steps of implants engagement of Dr. Hanookai.I am very impressed by the team here at Southland Dental and I do recommend to all my family and colleagues.

I had some major work done five years ago at SDC.  I was new in the area I heard of them from a flyer I got in the mail.  Crowns, implants, gum surgery ….. I was a mess!  But the experience was wonderful!  In the meantime, I moved away and also got a new medical plan that wasn’t covered by this office.  So I just went to someone down the street.  Last week it came to my dentist attention that I had another bad tooth and recommended pulling it and another implant.  Now I am sure this local dentist could do it – one man dentist in a tiny little office with one assistant – but I thought about it and – since I got new insurance recently – I told him I preferred and and trusted the team at SDC.  He assured me he would do a good job – and I’m sure he could.  But the team at SDC is just that – a team!  And I just felt that I wanted to go back to SDC, especially for implant, etc.  they are experts!  Everything can be done right there in their office and both doctors are always backing each other up and consulting on everything going on.  Offices are nice and so is the well supported staff.  Many of their same staff members were still there – which says a lot as well.  I highly recommend for all all your dental needs!

I was new to the area and my co-worker referred me to Southland Dental Care and wow, seriously, what a difference from my last dental office. This place is great. First impressions go a long way with me. When I walked in the staff greeted me so nicely, like they were actually happy to see me, the waiting room is also very nice and once you walk in the place is just gorgeous, everything looks so classy and high tech. Dr. Hanookai and Dr. Abaian really know dentistry and took time to explain all of the options for me. My treatment went well and I am happy to have found a great dental office.

Dr Hanookai is absolutely the best! I have been with Dr Hanookai’s office for over 10 years. I had my whole mouth done with her including implants and dental veneers. Everyone needs to see her. Her staff is also very professional.If you don’t go see Dr Hanookai you are missing out! Trust me!!

I was looking for a new dentist for a while. My sister referred me to this dentist. She swore by Dr. Hanookai and her prices so I decided to give it a try. I have been having some tooth pain and made an appointment. She was so warm and welcoming, which immediately made me feel comfortable. Warm atmosphere. I had my teeth taken care of within a couple of hours. No pain at all which prompted me to write a review right away. She knows whats shes doing! Already made my next appointment for a cleaning!

I had one of the best experiences I have ever had when it comes to dental visits at Southland Dental Care. I was a bit nervous at first considering I haven’t had a dental check up in about 4 years and I can honestly say I am happy I chose Southland Dental Care. Dr. Hanooki, Dr. Abain, and all of the staff at Southland were all very kind and made me feel very comfortable.  Everyone involved in my visit did an exceptional job.  Not only were they professional but the actual work done on my teeth was great and was done with great care. I recommend everyone to come give Southland Dental Care a chance, you will not regret it!

I’ve been coming to Southland Dental care for the passed 3 yrs. I came in with a horrible tooth ache on one of my molars, like typical human being that never would attend to a dentist. Dr. Hanookai and Dr. Abaian informed me that i needed a root canal and crown. They have been by far the greatest dentist that I have been to. The staff was friendly and helpful. From the begging to the very end. I loved Anna helped me with all the financial part. I loved the way i was treated that i keep coming back for my regular cleanings. I would highly recommend Southland Dental Care to everyone that needs a dentist

I can’t say enough about Dr. Hanookai and her team. My regular dentist recommended I visit a periodontist for gum graft surgery (I needed 2) and I found this practice through yelp. I had been warned by my dentist that the recovery was so painful that even doctor friends of his don’t go back for the 2nd round. I am here to say that this was not true in my experience! The surgeries were fast and painless and the recovery was uncomfortable, but relatively easy. When I had a question during off hours, the doctor was available and even had me text her pictures to review. They were diligent in scheduling follow-ups and incredibly easy to do business with. I am still nursing my baby and they were so helpful in making sure that I was only given medications compatible with breastfeeding. This practice is highly professional, skilled, and warm. I will recommend them to everyone!

I am a new patient and my experience was great. I want to congratulate the Southland dental care  to raise the bar on dental care . The staff were very nice and professional, My dental hygienist Ms. Negah was very professional, she was gentle and calm , always with a smile , even when I was being a pain in the butt . I went through a deep cleaning unlike any I have ever had.  PAINLESS!  Dr. Hanookai was amazing , very knowledgeable as well as honest.   I am extremely happy with my experience at southland dental care . That’s the way dental care should be. Pleasant. Sounds strange but I actually don’t mind going back to see my dentist … weird? I know .

I have lived all over the country, and because of that have been to at least a dozen different dentists. I sincerely believe Dr. Hanookai leads the bunch. Not only does she do great work, but she is also a great person. She listens to your concerns and then explains everything so that you can easily understand the procedure. More importantly, she doesn’t jump to conclusions or try to do work you don’t need. I met her initially because I was looking for a dentist to correct some previous work and she impressed me so much, I kept going back. Like a mechanic, once you find a dentist you trust, you want everyone to know. I hope more people will take the time to meet Dr. Hanookai.
