I can not say enough good things about stanford dental, the dentist himself and all his staff. I called on a Saturday and they said come right in. I had never been there, and found them online. I was in extreme pain, nearly crying. They had me in a chair and getting an x ray within 5 mins of walking through the door, again I was not a regular patient, this was my first time there. The dentist, seeing the pain I was in came over right away and numbed my infected and abscessed tooth. Let my take a moment to say that I do not have dental insurance and have found it hard to find a good dentist(hence the infected tooth). The whole staff are just amazing, the price was great, and I was pain free and out the door in an hour. If you are looking for a dentist, whether it be an emergency like myself or just a cleaning you would be doing yourself a disservice not to use this practice. They have a lifetime patient now in me. P.S I am not one to write reviews, good or bad, I was that impressed and wanted to let others know!

I have seen Dr. Stanford twice. Unfortunately my fear of the dentist has rendered my teeth in not the best condition. But I have never felt judged or less than by him or his staff. He is patient and gentle and allows time for questions. Everyone I have encountered that are part of the team have been wonderful. With him I think I can overcome my fear of the dentist. I highly recommend him!

I have been with Dr.Mark for almost 23yrs!!!Hands down the best around.Very friendly staff and GREAT dentist.Dr.Mark is one in a million.He is great with children.If ever someone says take your child to a pediatric dentist,wrong take him/her to Dr.Marks office you won’t be sorry.I can never say enough good things about him,so please if you are looking for a great dentist go visit him!!!Everything about it is so worth it.

Dr. Mark, Jessica, Jill, Cathy and the rest of the team are fantastic. So much so that my 6 year old son said, “I can’t wait to go to the dentist tomorrow!” Who says that!?!? I have had a few bad dental experiences. No worries of that here. They are kind and gentle. Treatment options and reasoning are discussed prior to anything being undertaken. If you are looking for personal, friendly treatment in a low stress environment this is the place.

Just got my wisdom teeth pulled by the best dentist ever today. Dr Stanford and his staff always makes my experience really comfortable, and I’m always happy to go to the dentist. I was afraid to get my wisdom teeth pulled because I didn’t want to have any pain, but thanks to Dr Stanford I have no pain and couldn’t feel the teeth getting pulled at all. He was done very fast too, it took more time to numb my mouth than to pull the teeth out. Always in and out with great service at Stanford Dental.

I took my 4 year old daughter to fill-in her cavities and Dr. Stanford was amazing. He was patient, understanding and gentle with her. He was more concerned about her dental experience than getting all the work done at once. He didn’t want her to develop Dentist phobia. Everyone was extremely friendly and genuinely caring. When my daughter cried his assistant held my daughter’s hand and kissed it. Aww. What an unforgettable experience. We found our Dentist for life.

I rarely give five stars, but when trying to find a dentist closer to home after moving counties was a disaster, back I went to Dr. Mark and that is where I am staying. After hubby was in great pain, he went to a known place as Kellogg Dental. Kellogg told him that he needed two root canals right now! Never gave him a shot for pain and expected $5,000 and of course missed the absessed tooth! I thought something was fishy, so I had hubby go back to Dr. Mark. Dr. Mark found an absessed tooth and DID NOT NEED two root canals. If they would have done the root canals at that time, my hubby would have been in much, much more pain. I do not trust ANYONE, except Dr. Mark. He does not try and rip you off EVER. He is honest and as long as I am in this state, he will be my forever dentist. Now a days, it ALL ABOUT MONEY. Except with Dr. Mark. He is still true to his patients and I thank him for that!

Let’s start by saying that my family are regulars, as long as this Doc is alive, we will be going to him for dental issues. I would give more stars if I could. He is great with the kids, (they have no problems or fear, kinda look forward to going) and has a quirky sense of humor that puts you at ease. (I do miss the Three Stooges Dentistry posters and some of the other fun stuff though…) This guy is the best, Jill is amazing and the rest of his staff is great. I have been to some rather careless hacks in the past, dental horror stories and all. No worries with this Doctor, give him a try and you won’t say goodbye!

I was first introduced to Dr. Stanford when he joined a practice I was using. When he left to open his own practice I definitely followed him and to this day continue to endorse/recommend him for dental work. He is extremely educated by staying current on new techniques and procedures. I used to FEAR dentists but with him I know I don’t. It is his mission to take care of you in the most comfortable manner possible, it is easier to his work if the patient is at ease. Scheduling is very easy and can most times get same day service if needed but appointments are preferred. He schedules for his services based on the needs of the patient. If someone is going to need an hour in his chair then that patient is the only person booked that hour. They don’t just schedule bodies and let them back up as he finds this disrespectful to the patients time as much as it is for a patient to cancel without notice thus keeping another patient from having their issue solved. His Hygienist, Jill, is very good at her job as well. She makes quick work of your cleaning, knows your insurance and when to obtain exrays for your best dental care and makes good notes to discuss with Dr. Stanford before you leave. My hope is that he is practicing as long as I’m alive or living in the area.

We love Dr Stanford, and his entire staff! My entire family goes to him, and we have been going to him for many years, at least 15+. I have 2 sons and the youngest was deathly afraid of letting anyone near his mouth with any type of dentistry tools. Finally, on the third try, he let Jill clean his teeth..which he loved! Then Dr Mark came in and he finally let him look inside and unfortunately he does have a cavity, no fault of Dr Mark’s of course. I have done lots of work through Dr Mark. There was a time when I was not insured and Dr Mark still welcomed me to his office with a more than fair price that I could afford to pay. He got me signed up for a Care Credit account which has been a lifesaver for me and allowed me to do all of the work to get my mouth out of pain and able to chew on both sides! Cannot say enough good things about Dr Mark, great dentist!

Seriously the most caring, gentle dentistry I’ve ever experienced. Not only is the doc super amazing, he’s also one of those genius left handed people which made me a lot more comfortable – and the entire staff are equally incredible! Myself being resistant to the shots working, somehow he makes them work and in the correct spots. I’ve had about ¼ of the shots I normally had to have in the past with other dentists. Can’t express how fabulous of an experience I’ve had with this office. In my opinion the best office in Michigan, and I’ve tried a lot of them. Kudos to everyone at Stafford Dental! YOU ROCK!

Normally I do not recommend medical personnel to anyone, because .. You never know… HOWEVER I recommend Mark Stanford DDS TO EVERYONE! I was in a car accident which resulted in multiple teeth being damaged… And extreme pain. Dr. Stanford has put me out of pain and is restoring my teeth. He really has a way of putting you at ease. If you are one of those patients that DREADS going to the dentist, try this dentist, I’m betting that fear goes away asap.

I would highly recommend making this the first office you call. I just called today in pain with a tooth that needed extracted. They told me to come in right away. My whole family has been going to Dr. Stanford for at least 20 years and I would highly recommend him and his staff to families with children of all ages. My kids are young adults now, however, I can remember how he won my daughter over at age 4 as she sat on my lap to get her teeth cleaned…a very challenging patient at best.He was my hero when he identified my very rare allergy to novacaine and lydocaine and still found ways to help me through my issues. Dr. Mark is the best and I would trust him and recommend him to anyone who reads this message. .. The Rushlow family.
