Great dentist! Friendly receptionist, Dr. Don has a very positive attitude, and he takes his time during your appointment. Very professional staff, and all visits come with x-rays included. Make sure you make your appointment in advance. Highly recommend this dentist.

Dr. Don is the best!! My whole family goes to see him. His office is always clean and the receptionist is always welcoming. I’ve been going to him for about 15+ years. He is very professional and patient. I remember when I was little I was terrified of getting my teeth pulled out and going to the dentist in general. I remember Dr. Don being patient and letting me reschedule (probably about 3 consecutive times) until I felt comfortable to get the procedure done.Now that I am a young adult I can truly say his kindness made going to the dentist less scary. I enjoy catching up with him about life. He definitely listens and remembers things you tell him. He works by appointment only and is available for emergencies. You never wait more than 10-15 minutes if he’s finishing up on the person before you but usually he’s on time and you walk right in. I highly recommend him for your dental needs.

Best dentist that treats my whole family. I never feel pushed into a procedure and instead feel empowered and informed as to when will be right to do any procedures, (even if this means monitoring for a couple of years). He is gentle, caring and trustworthy with his advice. I still choose to visit him even though I am now based in San Francisco.

If I could give Dr. Don 10 stars, I would. He is the kind of dentist that treats his clients like he would his own family. He is super patient, kind, and hard working. He takes his time and explains everything in a way that you can understand. He will stay late if necessary and make sure that he does his utmost best, quality work. He will even call you personally the following day to make sure you’re OK or to see if you have any concerns. Going to the dentist might make some people uncomfortable, but his mannerism and gentleness will put even those people at ease. I can’t commend him enough for his kindness throughout the past few years, especially for squeezing me into his super booked schedule when I’ve had an emergency. His assistant, Nicole, is also very attentive and kind. If you need a dentist, or are not ecstatic about your current one, now you know where to go!

When an associate from my previous dentist office started to push invisiligns on me out of the blue, I visited Dr. Don for a second opinion. Dr. Don concluded that they were not needed. I did indeed have a deep overbite but orthodontia work was unnecessary. While both of my dentists (past and present) are highly competent, Dr. Don has 27 years of experience and is upfront and honest about his intentions. I am not saying my previous dentist isn’t honest but I lost his personal attention after being floated among his associates and hyigenists in his rapidly expanding practice. Good for him. Bad for a long time client like myself, getting lost amongst the numbers. In addition to being trustworthy, Dr. Don is one of the most down to earth and authentic people I have ever met. I actually look forward to my dental cleanings so I can catch up with him and his assistant, Nicole. He definitely makes an effort to get to know you and you can tell he cares about his patients. Other than the great and competent service, the office is modern and clean, and scheduling is easy as pie. Unfortunately, he only accepts PPO. 🙁 If you are looking for a great dentist in the Pasadena area and have PPO, you should consider seeing Dr. Don!

I met with Dr. Don yesterday I thought I needed a new crown. Dr. Don was great he referred me to a specialist I needed a root canal that day. Dr. Don did not charge me for my visit or xrays. How nice was that. I will be returning to him in a month for a new crown. I hate going to the dentist. Yet Dr. Don made me feel comfortable. And not having Dental insurance I usually pay in Cash. His crown will be around 1000.00 not too bad for a dentist of his caliber. Thanks Dr. Don, you saved the holidays by getting my tooth done.

I called him this afternoon as I was in bad pain, and even though he was on vacation and his office was officially closed, he drove in, met me in the office, and helped me with my dental infection and traumatic occlusion. I had been impressed with him before, as he is a very caring and knowledgeable dentist, but now I know he will also go above and beyond for his patients. Thanks Dr. Don!!!!

Fantastic dentist. My daughter has been seeing Dr.Don for 7 years and she loves coming to the dentist . He is very honest doesnt do work you dont need to just for the money, that gives me a piece of mind. He is good with kids. I been to several dentists and he’s amazing. He is one of the few that accepts military insurance.

I have been coming to Dr.Steven K. Don for a number of years. I am very happy with the care that I have received here. I always get great advice, as well as a number of options for treatment. Dr. Don is extremely thorough and has a very nice touch, when taking care of your teeth. Staff is always very accommodating when making an appointment or asking questions Parking right at the building parking lot or on the street.

I’m 33 and haven’t been to a dentist for my entire adult life. Needless to say I was petrified about visiting the dentist, but finally decided to do so when I started experiencing pain from my gums being constantly inflamed and bleeding. Which of course scared me even more. However my sister goes to Dr. Don and recommended him, so I finally put on my big girl pants and went. I am so glad I did. The second I walked into the office I felt calm, as the atmosphere in the lobby is warm and welcoming. The girl at reception that also took my x rays was very kind and had a very calming way of going about everything, which made me feel comfortable enough before I even met with the dentist. Dr. Don himself was very easy going, was honest about what I needed done and didnt try to say I needed things that I didnt, which is one of the things I was worried about after hearing other people’s dental horror stories. Overall I am so pleased with this office and am glad I went, I feel like a 15 year weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you Dr. Don!

Dr. Don is very professional and does great work. I have called in twice for emergency dental work and he has for me in last minute. The office is clean, peaceful and quiet. The receptionist/assistant is very helpful and nice. I highly recommend Dr. Don’s office for any and all dental work and I have been to several dentists over the years and was never quite happy with their work or environment. But this office is quiet and relaxed with professional dental care. Will definitely be coming back here for future visits.

Dr.Don, is a great dentist very knowledgeable and sincerely cares about you as a person, I previously went to a chain dentist (santa anita dental) you are treated like just a name and $$$, but not the case with Dr.Don he is just how I like it no chain business mentality, you see him and him alone, the chain dentist offices I never saw the same dentist I have and will continue to recommend his office, service like his is difficult to find.

He is such a genuine and knowledgeable dentist and answered all my questions to help me fully understand what I need to do with my chipped tooth, if I needed a crown or if it wasn’t the right time and other alternatives based on my age and what will happen to my teeth in the future. I just had a horrible experience with another dentist with an average wait time of 3-4 hours just sitting around and even being forgotten and always being rushed to pay or get a new thing done for my teeth. There was very little wait time and he knows all the price points that there isn’t always someone else coming in to let you know how much everything is going to cost you. The best dentist I ever had! I found Dr. Don almost by accident after having a horrible experience at Dental Plus in Pasadena. What a contrast! He could not have been more professional, skilled and with such a warm “chair side”manner I almost look forward to dental exams. Both my husband and I have been patients for years and we cannot say enough good things about him. While other dentists have pushed expensive services like bite-guards and gum surgery (neither one warranted) Dr. Don tends to be conservative, monitoring our dental health carefully before taking more aggressive action. His fees are more than reasonable and his office staff caring and professional. We trust him completely and would recommend him to anyone. Our only fear with that he will retire!
