Dr. Guidone has been my dentist for 15 years. I have had $15,000.- worth of services from him He is EXCELLENT.  I had 9 cavities filled, 6 veneers, invisiline braces, and then finally my old cavities removed and replaced with white resin. I trust him totally. He is very proud of his work and so am I.

I love my dentist! How many people can say that? Dr. Guidone and ALL of his staff are kind, personable and truly experts. They treat you like family. Leilani the hygienist is excellent and very thorough. Always on- time too! Dr. Guidone works fast! Once you’re in the chair, it’s bing-bang-boom! He also does his own root canals. Can’t say enough about all of them, including the office staff. Appointments, billing… they are all spot on and have worked together for DECADES! New to town or looking for a positive change? Just call them.

Dr. Guidone is amazing as is his whole staff. They’re all incredbly helpful. Leilani (I hope I spelled her name right!) has been cleaning my teeth for YEARS. She is so thorough and always makes sure I get the toothpaste flavor I want (I hate mint). Read my previous review about how great he is! I just wanted to add that Dr. Guidone did my wisdom teeth removal and it was probably the best experience I could have had. I did NOT want to be put out for my surgery and he is one of the last remaining doctors that does the surgery under local anesthetic, meaning awake. He was incredibly gentle and talked me through the whole thing and it only took 40 minutes. I had no problems after my surgery and was even able to keep my teeth. I was so stressed out about getting my wisdom teeth out, but Dr. Guidone made it a walk in the park. Thank you!

I had a root canal and a crown by Dr. Guidone 6 months ago. It was first class both professionally and personally. Everything in my mouth feels great. 5 star experience.

What an amazing dentist and office staff. I broke a tooth last night. They got me in today. Going to the dentist is a huge fear of mine. I had jaw surgery that went wrong years ago with a horrible infection. Dr. Guidone has made me a believer not to be afraid anymore. He was so comforting and made me feel so comfortable! Thank you Dr. Guidone and staff you are truly amazing! I highly recommend this practice!

Had the most wonderful experience yesterday at Steve Guidone’s office yesterday, I guess that would make my visit about the 200th visit to his office. I have been a patient of his for over 18 years and he is the real deal. He has helped me on countless occasion, from a crown to a tongue tied situation, really! He is knowledgable and really cares for the patient as well as the materials and methods he uses. I would call him a modern dentist who has the know how and information to stay current with the newest products. Beside a great location in El Segundo, his in house team is one of the nicest and most pleasant aspects of this office. I have recommended countless people to Guidone’s practice and they are all thankful for the inside information. I would call Guidone a local gem, he also rides motorcycles and plays the banjo, yes he is multi talented and funny. Leilani is the in house dental hygienist and she is amazing, she is a local gem as well. The best in the South Bay and Los Angeles. Go see them!!! You won’t regret it!!!!

I chose Dr. Guidone’s office because of the reviews here about the staff, how friendly and competent they are. I haven’t been to a dentist in ten years, so I was very apprehensive.I am so happy! They were absolutely wonderful! From the desk to the dentist, everyone on staff made me feel comfortable and welcome. I never have to look for a dentist again. Highly recommend!

I have been looking for a good dentist for awhile after growing up with the same one that made me feel homey. I had my first check-up at Dr. Guidone’s office and I must say it was definitely what I was looking for! His staff is SUPER, SUPER friendly. They were so welcoming as soon as I stepped in and made all the logistics go smoothly. I usually dislike going to the dentist but my entire experience at this office was a great one. I had gone once to another office in Manhattan beach prior to finding this one on yelp. I went once and never went back as I didn’t feel the atmosphere was ‘homey’ enough. That other office told me I needed to get 4-5 things done including fillings, 2 cavities, and something else I hadn’t heard of. It felt off since I knew I couldn’t have gotten 2 cavities considering how careful I had been. After going to Dr. Guidone’s office a year later, I left with only needing a fill for a cracked tooth I HAD NEVER NOTICED nor had any dentist ever pointed out. But after showing me with the mirror, it was very clear it was there. He said I had no traces of any of the other things but that he wanted to fix that chip so that my wedding pictures looked flawless 🙂 I definitely trusted him as he’ s been in the business for 20-30+ years. They’re technology, technique, and thoroughness was all great and I actually learned a bunch of new things about my mouth and dental hygiene in general. To summarize it all, they’ll definitely be my permanent dentist moving forward 🙂

Dr. Guidone and his entire staff are probably the very very best in all of Southern California . His talent as a dentist and his compassion for you as a human is a lost art . he is a master of his craft. His entire staff are impeccable soldiers of grace and kindness . I recommend this dentist to everyone I know because they are the real deal and they never sacrifice excellence in guest service. Five stars

Steve and staff are great at what they do! I can’t say enough good things about this practice. I only had one dentist my entire life and he retired in 2018. I looked long and hard to find someone that did quality work, was local, ethical and friendly. Steve is exactly who I was looking for. Everything is very clean, professional, meticulous and they are a pleasure to work with. The prices are extremely affordable and fair for the high quality of work they deliver. I just went in the other day for a cleaning and x-rays. I was in and out very quickly. Very gentle touch on the cleaning. I couldn’t ask for better. Steve also puts an emphasis on cosmetic repairs. That’s his specialty! I’m very picky and this is definitely my go to spot now. Thx!

How does one know he has found good dentist? The same way one knows he has found a good mechanic? During a checkup you hear something along the lines of “there is nothing wrong”. Now days, you rarely hear this, instead dentists and mechanics often push a myriad of high priced useless services. Dr. Guidone, is one of the few of the dying breed of dentists who is honest and NOT constantly trying to up-sell you veneers, invisalign, botox injections (yes many dentists now do botox injections to make some extra $) and etc.. He is a great dentist with integrity. I have been seeing Dr. Guidone for a couple of years now… Simply said, he is honest and amazing at his craft. However, the cherry on top of my dental visits is Karen, Dr. Guidone’s hygienist. She is the best kept secret of South Bay (shhhh even more of a secret that Dr. Guidone himself). Karen is thorough, firm yet gentle, and knows her craft like no other. Both Karen and Guidone combined are an A Team.

Dr. Guidone is one of the best dentist I’ve ever encountered. He extracted my wisdom teeth in under 1hour. He was so patient with me and he thoroughly explained everything throughout the procedure. I recommend him should you need any wisdom teeth extracted. Also, his office is high tech. I was impressed with X-Ray machine. It was quick an easy. No need to take several bite down X-rays. It was almost like a 3-dimensional X-ray machine. Last but not least, Dr. Guidone has an exceptional staff. They are wonderful and very welcoming. A great office staff makes a dentist visit very pleasant.

Dr Guidone is the Leonardo da Vinci of the dental arts. He does magnificent work and his staff is wonderful. Normally, I don’ t write reviews, but he is so exceptional I felt I had to chime in. I am also a big baby when it comes to dental work, so it is very important for me find someone who creates a totally pain-free experience. Thank you, Dr Guidone.

I just wanted to write a review about Dr. Guidone. He is the best! I sure most of you have changed dentist many times for many reasons as I have. Well ,I’m done doing that since I have been going to Dr. Guidone for the last year. My wife and I are so happy with his work , and staff and would never go else where. He really cares about you and health is really a caring person and is passionate about his work.

This guy is as good as it gets! TRULY! I wrote a review for another dentist on here that tried to scam me into having 9 fillings I didnt need!!!!! How scary is that?! I wont say her name, but look up the review if you’re curious. I’m SO happy I never went to her in the end since she would’ve made holes in my teeth just to make money. The first thing that women’s assistant told me when she saw me was my teeth were in bad shape. I felt something was wrong because I have only had dentists my whole life tell me my teeth are good. So, after much asking around and referrals I finally fell into the safe hands of Stephen Guidone. He’s honest, yes a dentist can be honest, there are probably only a few left, but here’s your guy, he’s down to earth, he’ll give you the scope, tell you what you need now and what can wait. In the end I didnt even get one filling done, he said there is one starting, but it may never get any worse and we’ll monitor it each year to see how it goes… and… I need to floss every day, like a good girl. haha If you’re looking for a dentist – dont look any further! This guy has my TOTAL stamp of approval, I’d feel very comfortable recommending anyone to him.

Well of course Mark T “nasty mouth” wouldn’t want his decayed grill shown to a professional – it’ll reflect the truth. Brush your teeth & you won’t be in the pickle you put yourself in. If I lied in a yelp review, I’d cite HIPAA to keep the truth hidden too Mark 🙂 I personally have been going to Dr Guidone for 20+ years and can’t find enough stars to describe the caring that this man puts into his work. I’m literally disgusted with the review (and profile pic of Mark T’s mouth) that he has posted. It’s truly a dishonest & defamatory move on his part. Dr. G will truthfully do anything for his patients & this rude old man is no exception. Anyone reading the totality of this great business on yelp will clearly see that Dr. Guidone’s work & clientele history over 33+ years speaks for itself. I am very happy to see the responsible & professional response left by Dr. G on Mark’s post. Keep doing great work Steve. Remember, you can’t please everyone. Luckily, most informed yelpers can decipher the honest & dishonest reviews.
