I was in Bakersfield for a wedding and chipped my front tooth on Friday. I had to get fixed fast for pictures. I called several Dentists that were not available then I call Dr. Klein who was so nice. He met me at his office and after an hour of work I was back in business with my smile! I was not sure about the quality of the work so I went to my local Dentist for a look over. He was very impressed with the level of work and said… “I could not have done a better job.” Bakersfield, you have a great Dentist in your area!!!

If you are looking for a honest man to work on your teeth this is definitely the guy to go to. I have a fear of dentist work since I had a horrible experience with one when I was about 19 yrs old but this office has showed me nothing but great work and compassion. I’m 4 months pregnant with a root canal I need done but because of the pregnancy I have to hold off for better timing. But when I told Stephen about not being able to sleep because of the excruciating pain I was experiencing he made time for me to make sure I could sleep comfortably at night. He stayed 2 hours after business hours just to make sure he fulfilled his promise. On top of that every single one of his employees show those same compassionate welcoming characteristics. They are all so friendly. I am truly thankful for him and his team. I would definitely recommend.

Dr. Klein is a kind, knowledgeable, and very dedicated dentist. I have some issues in my mouth, some of them caused by my fear of visiting a dentist during Covid-19. I just moved here two months ago, and couldn’t put it off any longer. He fixed my immediate problem, and right away I was pain free. Today was my second appointment. I’m so happy with today’s treatment! Be aware, this is a small practice, so if you are late or miss your appointment, it’s hard for the staff. That said, the staff are also amazing and kind. I rarely feel well, and they are so accommodating. So far, I haven’t waited to be seen, which is HUGE. I’m aware things happen, so waiting a few minutes is acceptable to me. Not the case; today I didn’t even sit down in the waiting room. Thanks so much Dr. Klein and staff. And the only “pay” I received for this review was the great care I experienced.

Finally a dentist who not only cares for the insured but for the uninsured like myself, Doctor Kline’s comfortable attitude and true compassion for you and your teeth makes him the best dentist I’ve been to and I’ve been to a dozen locals. To compliment his skills doctor Kline has an awesome and super staff thank you all for the family friendly experience. I am looking forward to my next appointment . Hands down, the best dentist my family has received treatment from. Front office Staff is very friendly. They work with your schedule and make timely appointments. The girls in the back make sure you’re comfortable and do great work. Dr Klein has great bed side manner, is very knowledgeable in all things dentistry, and does impeccable work. He treats you like a person, not like a herd of cattle. He calls to checkup on his patients aftercare progress, and will even take weekend calls. You just don’t find care like that, these days. Dr. Klein is amazing, not only as a dentist but as a person. He’s helped me in ways that go far beyond dental hygiene and it’s made me a better, healthier person for it. He got me in touch with programs I otherwise would have never known were there to help. I’ve had my third visit on Thursday and can honestly say his office, staff and himself is the only dentist I have been to in my adult life that I felt comfortable and left feeling better physically and emotionally. I’ve never experienced a dentist office that has ever left me wanting to go back until I met Dr. Klein and his staff. I’ve had very few dental appointments growing up, and have grown to fear the dentist. Dr. Klein is exceptionally meticulous and thorough. He’s very friendly with each patient. One of the best dentists in town! Been coming here for about a year. The staff are fantastic and very kind. Dr. Klein is willing to work with you and has a gentle touch. He’s straightforward and gives you all your options. He gives you great care at a good, affordable price. They treat you like family and make you feel as comfortable as possible. Owe this man a Christmas gift for sure!! My girlfriend was experiencing major teeth pain. After calling around we couldn’t find anyone to take her due to covid. Once we found him he worked miracles. 100% if I could give 100 stars, I would. I have been a patient of Dr. Kleins for years. He is great with people who have dental anxiety. I mean, I still don’t “like” to go to the dentist, but Dr. Klein at least makes it bearable. He is very accommodating, always getting me in same day or next in an emergency….or what I think is an emergency. Lol. And he even calls to check up on you. I can assure you the level of care that he gives does not happen elsewhere. If you are in need of a dentist or looking to switch, highly highly recommend.

My 7 year old fell at dance and broke off half of her tooth. On a Saturday. After 12:00. Ugh! Good luck finding a competent dentist that is open on a Saturday afternoon. Dr. Klein opened his office, took his time to reassure everyone, and her tooth looks good. With an injury like this, there are no guarantees. Dr. Klein explained thh e best case scenario and also explained our options for the future. Through the entire experience he helped to keep everyone (patient, parents, & siblings) calm. Most importantly, my daughter left smiling!

Dr. Klein has taken care of my dental health for over 20 years and I have better teeth than I deserve. He is conservative–meaning he doesn’t do what doesn’t need to be done. It also means he saves teeth first and does more invasive procedures as a last resort. You might sit in the chair a bit longer than you may have in the past. That’s because he won’t do “good-enough”. He makes sure the teeth interface with other teeth correctly. I’ve learned how important that can be. As a practical point (hee-hee) he’s really good with shots. You will be pre-numbed and then get a tiny shot. When you’re semi-numb you’ll get a bigger shot(s). I never feel a thing. I think this is partly because he doesn’t do the 3-chair circus that causes other dentists to rush. You will like his assistant Debbie too. She is usually reaching for something just before Dr. Klein asks for it. You can tell they like working together. In the past I used some cheapie clinics and learned I didn’t like the results. Now flossing is easy, nothing ever hurts, I can eat anything, and my mouth looks better than the rest of me.

My mom Deborah finally decided to go to the dentist after so many years due to fear. She was so scared just walking through the front door. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Once she got to see De.Klein he reassured her he would make her comfortable enough to work on her teeth. She felt very comfortable with any procedure he did. THIS IS A GREAT OFFICE AND TALENTED, CARING DENTIST! First and foremost, for ANYONE to say or assume a review was solicited should be sued for slander. My opinion could NEVER be bought. With that in mind… I was very apprehend coming to this office not having any recommendations from sources I could rely on. All I had was other reviews; some were good and some were horrible. Aside from the reviews was one other dentist’s office I contacted who referred me to Dr. Klein. As fate would have it, going to see Dr. Klein, Annette the hygienist, and the office personnel was the best thing I could have done! Nobody has asked me to leave this review, I’m doing it because it’s the right thing to do. I’ve been blessed with great dentists during my lifetime, but recently not having private dental coverage has left a lot to be desired when it comes to a dentist, until I found my way here. My previous experience were so bad, I avoided the dentist. Dr. Klein is talented with giving the shots, so much so I’m caught up with the damage I did to my teeth. In essence, he cares. Initially, he may come across as a bit caustic, but in my opinion there’s a teddy bear in there, and he simply wants you to get what he’s sharing of himself, and that’s the years of experience to hone is craft. He’s no-nonsense! Annette, the dental hygienist, is just as talented and kind in her own right. They compliment one another well. The Dr. and hygienist is rounded out nicely by the support staff of dental assistants and office personnel who are very helpful and supportive of one another. When you see those horrible reviews, do yourself a favor and see for yourself, and remember, Dr. Klein has a military background and has given a lot for this country, so don’t be turned off if you find him rigid or gets on your case for being late. Be kind and be on time…I learned the latter the hard way.

I mean this with all seriousness when I say that DR. Klein is the definition of a miracle worker. The man works non stop and genuinely really cares about his patients. Dr. Klein has already dipped into his own pockets for me and my fiancé. Medi-cal will only cover certain procedures and only pay for certain things. Dr. Klein refuses to do crappy work and will use medications, tools, and procedures that are not covered through Medi-cal. He does this out of the kindness of his heart. All Dr. Klein asks is that you show up on time for your appointments, and not to cancel appointments. He asks this of his patients because he is extremely busy and if you don’t show up on medication-cal they lose money. If you do what he asks and listen and take his advice about dental care the progress is seriously insane. I have so much decay and have lost 3 teeth before coming to Dr. Klein. I have taken his advice about cutting out soda and cigarettes and have been committed to better dental hygiene and care. Dr. Klein has given me hope and he has guaranteed me that if I do everything he asks and recommends I will have my smile back. He also calls patients later in the day after their appointments and asks how they are feeling. Making sure that they are not in pain and that everything is okay. I mean who does that! He makes me feel like he really does care about his patients. My fiancé and I are extremely thankful and great full that we found a good dentist like Dr. Klein. Also Rachel, who runs the front desk and books all the appointments, is seriously on of the nicest/ sweetest ladies. She works super hard and always has a smile on her face and is nice even when they are swamped. These people really care about their patients and doing excellent work!

I am so happy with my dds klein..He is so knowledgable, kind and patient. And even though i have an insurance that doesnt cover his office, he will be my personal dentist from now on. I had 2 prior dentist that wanted to remove my molar. However, thank God i decided to contact another dentist that came hightly recommended. Dr Klein proformed a special procedure that saved my molar. He is a rare honest dentist, that doesnt work on your teeth just to make money. The patients are his first priority. I recommend him 100% and I will definitely continue to see him on a regular basis.

I called in for an appointment. I am newly unemployed and informed the Lady that I had Denti-Cal. She immediately got an attitude. I am waiting on the plastic card and went down to Social Services and received a Temp card. Called back and got the same treatment from another Lady. She informed me of people trying to commit fraud. She basically accused me of said crime. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I am an unemployed Architect and have been working since I was 15. Do not deserve such treatment……….

Dr. Klein is an amazing dentist and I recommend him highly. On a recent visit to my family in Bakersfield I broke my upper right last tooth and I found him online. He came in even when the office was closed because I was in such pain and immediately put novacaine in to stop my pain. He then pulled the tooth and he did it pretty quickly with NO pain!! He said that it had some of the longest roots he had ever seen. I had no pain after but I did take 2 Tylenol when I went home just in case it would be sore when the novocaine wore off.

Just got 2 wisdom teeth removed yesterday & let me tell you I had the greatest experience I have ever had with a dentist! Dr. Klein has been my family’s dentist for 25 years. He does great work, is pleasant to visit with, and employs a fine staff. I appreciate his conservative approach–fixing immediately that which needs immediate attention, and wait-and-see on issues where that is an appropriate plan. I am a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and worked in the public safety sector for 31 years until I recently retired because of complications from diabetes and the eight surgeries I’ve undergone within a 24 month period. My full retirement is currently tied up in court because of a 2-year marriage that ended in 2007. Long story short, I had no choice but to obtain state assisted dental insurance. I was self conscious and worried about the care I would receive. I researched the limited providers that were willing to deal with the issues pertaining to state assisted insurance. I discovered what appeared to be someone that was too good to be true. Dr. Klein served in the United States Navy as a medical officer. Dr. Klein is also a medical officer in the United States Army. According to various news articles, Dr. Klein voluntarily used his professional skills to provide care to the very poor in other countries. From the moment I met Dr. Klein and his staff, I was treated as if I were their most important client. My current insurance is limited but Dr. Klein and his staff provide me other options that allow me to make reasonable payments for the very best dental work. For many years I have avoided showing my teeth when I smile. With Dr. Klein and his staff, I have a feeling that I will be smiling on the outside as much as I have been smiling on the inside!
