Going to Dentist Steve Kim has been a pleasant experience. When u walk in the staff is super friendly and knows each persons by name. They make personal connections and make each visit easy. It’s never crowded and I usually get in n out. The hygienist is very gentle and never rough when it comes to dealing with your teeth. They give away free dental care packages with tooth paste, tooth brush and floss, which shows they care about the state of everyone that walks in. Overall Dentist Steve Kim is a wonderful office that I’d recommend to anyone.

I do not like to write reviews but compelled to tell the Torrance community how lucky for me to have found Dr Steve Kim as my only and permanent dentist. The office is well-kept, clean, cozy and inviting, one always gets greeted warmly walking in. Front office staff are courteous, helpful, and informative. My favorite hygienist-Jackie-is a sweetheart! She is a pure pro, knowledgeable, serious about her job, a very strong patient advocate, and warm and friendly. She makes me feel at ease at every cleaning visit with her. Jackie is an obvious strong staff member there-a jewel for keep.

I’ve been here more than 10 years and I love it! Dr. Kim is the best dentist I’ve ever met, and Dr. Pyun is also one of top dentists in LA area. I’ve done so many treatments here, and everything was perfectly done. Now, I trust them 100% whatever I have to do there. Also, I like that they explain every steps. After treatment, they ask me everything is fine and confirm there’s no discomfort. I go there every six months for regular cleaning, and I feel like I’ve done a deep cleaning. All staffs are super kind. Always welcoming with smiley face. They send me a remind text few days before the appointment and give me a return call if they miss my call. The office is very clean. All the machines, chairs, stuffs, etc. seem to be new. Even the office is pretty far from my home I feel so great after visiting Dr. Steve Kim’s office.

Dr. Steve Kim has been amazing during all of my visits to his office! I’ve had to get multiple crowns and an emergency root canal and have had no problems with my dental care here. Even his recommendation for a specialist was spot on. I was even presented with a payment plan just in case u couldn’t pay for my total sum at once which is important for me because I don’t have great dental insurance. His staff is warm and welcoming, which is pretty rare, and they’ve been very understanding when it’s come to scheduling! I couldn’t ask for more! Haven’t been to the dentist in well over 10+ years, major phobia. After cracking a few teeth, I knew I had to go, but even thinking about it caused me great anxiety. Saw Dr. Kim’s reviews as well as the convenience of being open on Saturdays, and thought I’d give it a try. So happy I did. Although I need major work, everyone is so nice and made me feel at ease that I don’t mind that I have many return visits. So confident, my kids will be going as well! I’m not the biggest fan of the dentist, but with Dr. Steve Kim staff they have made that fear go away. They’re friendly and answer any questions I have in a timely matter. The dental office is great if you live in the Southbay and parking is easy. They also give you a cute tooth brush kit equipped with a toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, and 50 dollar credit included if you refer a new patient, so tell a friend!

The place is great. The staff are all very nice and make you feel very comfortable talking with them. It gives a really inviting feeling that you don’t get from most places. The dentist himself is very patient and understanding. I had my wisdom teeth pulled out. I was really scared and nervous because my last dentist was horrible. He took the time to address all my concerns. In the end everything went fine. They gave me an ice pack and offered pain meds. Next day I wasnt swollen and not at all in pain. The instructions they gave are very clear and I left with no questions. I would definitely recommend and one come to this office.

So I went to Dr Steve Kim & doctor told me the crown margin was not fitting perfect & food gets stock!. Dr Steve Kim, did a new crown on me & I didn’t have sensitivity anymore! . I think the scheduler made a mistake by scheduling my cleaning late in the day (4:40, they close at 5) and there wouldn’t be any hygienist to do the cleaning. Nevertheless, the doctor himself did the cleaning for me and went passed closing time. For this, I will be a customer for life. A graduate of Seoul National University and Boston University's School of Dentistry, with a specialization in Prosthodontics, Dr. Kim utilizes the latest procedures and techniques to provide you with the best service possible. His expertise in general dentistry and prosthodontics has been proven by helping numerous patients in over 27 years. At Dr. Steve Kim's Dental Office, we adhere to this principle by doing our best to minimize worries and discomfort with a diligent staff attentive to your concerns.
