Once again I need to give Dr Arima 5 stars. Yesterday my husband had two posts inserted into his jaw. Dr Arima throughout this surgery made sure my husband was in no pain. He was gentle and my husband had little bleeding. 24 hours later he has no swelling or pain. We were shocked how well the procedure went as my husband has multiple health issues. I definitely recommend Dr Arima for anyone who dreads the dentist or needs potentially painful surgery done painlessly.

Dr Arima has an amazing office space with the latest equipment making the experience easy and quick. I always go in for routine check ins cleanings and any major problems and I am always taken care of my the best people possible, not to mention Dr Arima had a great attitude in the workplace and loves his job. Each experience with Arima has been nothing but a great time and done with little to no pain and with great attention to detail each and every time and always makes you feel comfortable by conversing with you while he does his job. If you ever need a great dentist to go to I would highly highly suggest Dr Steven Arima he’s taken care me and my family for years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Arima’s for a while now, and we’ve always been very happy with the care we have received from him and his staff. This weekend he proved again why he is a Five Star dentist. My husband awoke Saturday morning to major swelling on his gum. Of course, these things always happen on a weekend when the office is closed, right? He called Dr Arima’s exchange, and within less than an hour Dr Arima called him back and met him at his office. Turns out he needed an emergency tooth extraction, which Dr Arima performed on the spot. Thank you again, Doctor, for taking such good care of my husband!

When I tell folks I’m going to see the dentist , they always look at me fearfully, telling me they are so sorry. I guess most people have had bad experiences at the dentist. This is not the case with Dr Arima and staff. I never have anxiety about coming here and I’ve been seeing this group for many years. If I moved from SCV I probably would continue to do so. The staff is always helpful, caring and reasonable. I highly recommend this dental group. His work is great, efficient… he’s been a magician too…saving teeth that others wouldn’t have even tried-always up to meeting the challenge.

A friend recommended me to Dr Arima and Ive been extremely happy with the quality of both him and his dental hygienists. Everyone is VERY meticulous, and a perfectionist at what they do. I have an especially bad case of TMJ, and while I’ve had 5 cleanings and 2 crowns done over the last few years in this office, Ive never left with a sore jaw! Everyone one staff is very friendly and clear they enjoy working in this positive and beautiful environment.

It’s been over 3 years since my last review but thankfully not 3 years since my last dental visit. I just completed my semi-annual checkup and thought back at how long I have been a patient of Dr. Arima. The old saying that “time flies when you’re having fun” is really not appropriate for dental visits but in Dr. Arima’s case it fits perfectly. He is an amazing dentist with a courteous and wonderful staff and I am looking forward to adding many more years to this relationship. My highest recommendation accompanies this review and my only issue is that a “5-Star” rating limit is just not high enough!!!

Dr. Arima’s office is wonderful! His staff is very friendly. While getting my teeth cleaned they always double-check that I am comfortable. Was recommended to Dr. Arima’s office by my mom who absolutely loves them. I just moved in from out of state and was now using a new insurance. The receptionist was very knowledgeable about my coverage and co-pays that she made it very easy for my whole family to be seen. The office itself is just like the picture, very relaxing and luxurious, you feel like you’re entering a spa. But the staff is very down to earth. Especially the hygienist who was very careful, calm, great mood, you feel like you’re visiting a friend. Dr. Arima himself is kinda quiet but took his time to hear my concerns. They didn’t overcharge me or rush any dental work I don’t need, unlike other offices, where my dad was scammed $800! Highly recommend this location (near plenty of restaurants too)!

The best dentist I’ve ever been to! I’ve been going to see Dr. Arima for years and he is not only good at what he does but, his sweet and kind demeanor really puts you at ease when it comes to any dental work that needs to be done. I moved five years ago to the valley and still drive all the way up to Valencia because he’s worth it! Not to mention all the girls and technicians in his office are lovely and always remember my name. I can’t say enough nice things about this office. I love this dentist. My dentist of 20 years closed his practice and I went to two new practices to find a replacement for the dentist I absolutely loved. It wasn’t until I went to Dr. Arima’s practice that I knew I found my new dentist. He is a REAL dentist not just a cosmetic dentist trying to make money. He does a wonderful job at keeping your teeth in the best shape. His dental hygienist is really thorough. His staff is wonderful. Not having very good insurance, the staff works with me and lets me know ahead of the procedure what it will cost.

I have been really happy with Dr.Arima and his staff. We first meet them when our oldest son needed an emergency procedure and they were the only dentist in town that would take him in, they were so good to him and caring. We had been attending to a different dental office and were very unsatisfied, so it was very easy to change all our family to Dr. Arima’s and we just love their honesty and friendliness. They are to us some of the few mazing dentist in Santa Clarita. We know they are great because we have experienced it first hand. I went for my 6 month cleaning and diagnosis. Habar, the dental hygienist did a great job in cleaning my teeth. She was very thorough and cleaned places that I don’t recall ever having been cleaned before. She was very professional and easy going. She was concerned with my comfort and when I shared that I needed support for my head she found a pillow and even put a new pillow case on it. Dr. Arima came in and did the diagnosis. He noticed a couple of teeth that were sort of worn down but since I was not having any pain he did not push me to have work done. He was very warm and friendly. Stephanie was her usual helpful and caring self. She is the only holdover from my previous dentists, It was nice to see a familiar face. I left the office on “cloud nine”. Thank you! I am SO glad that I found Dr. Arima!!! I will admit – I am not the easiest patient. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental procedures but Dr. Arima and his staff make me feel so comfortable. I have had times where I have NEEDED to get in asap and the friendly staff is always so accommodating to make it work. Dr. Arima I have known all my life and while I hate going to the dentist, there is NO ONE else I would rather go to. He is funny and gentle. After avoiding visiting the dentist for three years due to a phobia caused by several root canal procedures after a skateboarding accident, I decided to come see Dr. Arima for a check up to see how everything was going with my teeth. All I can say is that the visit i experienced at Dr Arima’s office made me regret not coming sooner! They gave me a nice deep cleaning (which I usually hate) and were nice and gentle with my teeth and gums while still managing to make sure that I was leaving their office with the cleanest teeth my teeth can be. The staff here is professional, easy to talk to, and make everything clear about the status of your teeth. Dr. Arima is the man! Cant wait to come back in for another cleaning!

I’m terrified of dentists. I’d swear my dentist back in the 70s was a former Nazi or Orin Scrivello from little shop of horrors (sadistic bastard) But Dr. Arima is far from it. He’s patient yet quick and clearly explains every procedure. From my perspective, a person who would rather have a proctology exam than visit the dentist; I can’t recommend Dr. Arima enough. Dr. Arima has taken care of our family dental needs for over 20 years. He is so very kind and gentle and his entire staff is awesome. I have a significant plaque/calculus build up problem for which I’m at the office every 3 months. I’m there quite often! Last year I lost a tooth due to a TMJ problem. Dr. Arima always takes the time needed to put our family’s needs as a priority and all of our entire extended family also goes to Arima Dental. Providing Family and Cosmetic dentistry in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1989. Our practice is currently located in a new dental office building in beautiful Valencia. We provide comprehensive dental care for the entire family in a relaxed, spa like environment. This includes cosmetic dentistry (invisible fillings, porcelain crowns and veneers) as well as implants for missing teeth (Dr. Arima has fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists- ICOI). Dr. Arima and his friendly dental team, provide the time and personal attention to make this a true, patient oriented, low volume private practice. Dr. Arima grew up in the San Fernando valley and attended Sylmar High School. He recieved a bachelor's degree in Biology from California State University at Northridge, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of California at San Francisco. He also is a certified Resident in Hospital dentistry from the Loma Linda VA hospital, and a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Arima lives in Valencia with his wife Rhonda and has three children, Ryan, Megan and Chasen. Dr. Arima enjoys many sports including basketball, skiing, scuba diving, soccer (also coaches AYSO soccer) and is a nationally ranked second degree blackbelt in Taekwondo. He also enjoys family vactions and online video games.
