If I could give them more stars I would. I have been going to Stone Glen Dental for roughly two years now with Dr. Xuan and I recently moved and I would make the 35 minute drive to see her any day. Honestly I would not go anywhere else ever again. She is very precise and detailed in her work. She communicates efficiently and effectively what’s going on with your teeth, and she is great at following up! The office is always clean and has a great environment and I have never met a team so happy to help me and answer any questions I may have. Dr. Xuan’s cleanings are very thorough as well. I previously had a lot of dental work and she always made me feel comfortable and aware of what was going on with each procedure! To make it better they are open on Saturdays for those of us who work during the week this was a blessing for me.

Dr. Nguyen is so nice she did NOT CHARGE US ANYTHING for removing our son’s baby tooth. And even though she said it was an easy procedure, we were very worried because that tooth was just not coming out and the gum was getting all swollen and our son was in pain. We were so impressed with how fast she responded to our message (it was on a Sunday) and how gentle she was and everything was done so perfectly my son is now eating again (A LOT !!! :):):) Even if for Dr Nguyen maybe it was an easy procedure that is not the point, the point is that we could not get that procedure done in the same manner so we appreciated immensely that she took time for her day to get this done for our son. My kids and I received care from Dr. Doan Bui recently. Out of ALL the dentists we have ever been to in our lives, he was the BEST! He took his time with my 2 children and myself to make sure we had all the work that needed to be done well. I cannot express in words how happy I am that I found Stone Glen Dental. I was beyond impressed with the entire experience from start to finish. The front office staff was courteous and helpful and the environment was very comforting. After my x-rays, Dr. Nguyen got me into the chair and explained to me that I was going to need a deep clean and my guard was immediately up. I had a deep clean two years prior and it was one of the most painful experiences of my life. They had to inject the numbing agent into my gums (like above the teeth, not on the side of the cheek) via needle and I screamed, I mean screamed. If you were sitting in the front office and you were not afraid of the dentist before, you would have been after hearing me. I explained to Dr. Nguyen that if that were the case I was not emotionally prepared and we would have to do it another day. After letting me have my freak out, they explained to me that they would numb me, but they had a gel that did not have to be injected by needle. I reluctantly agreed thinking it would have to be too good to be true, but an hour so later I walked out with little to no pain, a deep clean, and five fresh fillings. Throughout the entire thing Dr. Nguyen was patient and consistently asked me if things were okay or if I was experiencing any pain. He answer every question I have, even on what kind of toothbrush I should use. I will definitely continue to go to them in the future

First thing to point out is how clean the entire place is. Everything is in order and the air smells crisp. Like who wants their teeth cleaned at a dirty dentist office? I’ve had this illogical phobia of dentists ever since childhood. The visit to Stone Glen was the least painful experience I’ve ever had (no pun intended). Dr. Nguyen and Dr. McCallum were both extremely personable and patient. They also have the new panoramic dental x-ray machine, and other cool equipment in the office. The facility is very clean and comfortable, with TV on the ceiling for patients to watch while in the chair, if you don’t want to miss the day time soap. Did I mention the staff? They did such a great job, I did not feel any grits and pieces in my mouth after the routine cleaning. Plus, they did not pick around in my teeth and gums just for fun (did that hurt?!). If you are in Heritage Trace area, I highly recommend this dental office!

I took my father in law in for a loose wisdom tooth extraction today as a new patient. The staff and the doctor were very nice. They took time to explain everything so we could understand. Dr Nguyen is so awesome. I had an emergency and was in the Keller area. Called the office… it happened to be after hrs and to my surprised dr Nguyen answered the phone. I told her my situation and she told me to meet her at the office in 30 mins. She was able to fix my issue in no time and it was painless. I was eating some potato chips during lunch and noticed something hard and immediately knew I was in trouble. Next thing I know, I have a piece of tooth in my hand and am running scrambling to find a dentist on my phone. I Google’d a few offices and called, but they said the soonest they could see me was the next day, until I found this office. The person that answered the phone was very sweet and said that they could see me immediately as an emergency even though I wasn’t in pain. My first impression of the office was that it had a very cozy feel to it and made me feel like I was at home in my living room. The front lobby had a super comfy couch with a good view of the TV. I really liked the decor, you can tell they put a lot of thought into making you feel comfortable. I filled out my paperwork and they brought me back pretty quickly, which was surprising because they seemed to be pretty busy. After the assistant took my x-rays, Dr. Xuan came introduced herself to me and did my exam. I told her I broke my tooth and was a bit nervous about being at the dentist. She said not to worry, that they will talk me through everything and take it slow. Dr. Xuan said I needed a crown, and made the extra effort to explain why I needed it, which was a very new and welcomed experienced. I’m just used the dentist telling me I need a whole bunch of work that I don’t understand and make me feel like I’m a horrible person for not flossing every 10 minutes! But she explained that the extra couple of minutes spent on brushing and flossing better would save me tons of time and money when I come see her. The crown procedure was nothing as bad as I imagined, I didn’t even feel the shot! Dr Xuan checked on me several times during the appointment to make sure I was okay. Overall, I was extremely happy with my experience and will be recommending all of my family and friends!

Dr. Nguyen, A Louisiana native, grew up in Opelousas and is the second child out of three siblings. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 2011. She also completed postgraduate training as an implant restorative fellow from LSUSD in 2012. Gently, patient, and caring, Dr. Nguyen takes the time to provide you with the best care possible. She believes in conservative, preventative dentistry and her goal is to increase the longevity of her patient's teeth. Dr. Nguyen is dedicated to stay up-to-date with the latest dental materials and technology through continuing education courses. Her hobbies include baking and crafts. She also loves working with children.
