I had my first time appointment with Dr. Conkey last week. He was recommended by my OB/GYN. I had concerns that my silver filling was causing various problems and wanted it removed and filled with composite instead. Absolutely wonderful, humor, knowledge, “bedside manner” – you get it all here! His hygienist, Trish, was absolutely wonderful as well. Going to a new dentist is a bit rattling on the nerves as a first timer, as trust has not yet been formed. It has now and I’ll definitely be back even though I’m from Grove City and we have plenty dentists in my area.

Ihave been seeing Kim and Dr. Conkey for years! They have been wonderful. So positive and polite. They explain things to help you understand and feel comfortable about any work. I had to change dentists for about 2 years due to insurance. I went to 3 other places and couldn’t find a place that came close to their level of care. When Dr. Mark S. Levy DDS sent a letter out earlier this year announcing that he was leaving his practice at Stoneridge Dental Center, I was bummed out. Dr. Levy has been my dentist for roughly thirty years, ever since he was on Main Street with Dr. Jack Palestrant. When I discovered he reopened his practice in Hilliard, I assumed that he no longer wanted patients like me who only need cleaning and wanted to do more high-end dentistry and be closer to people in Dublin and Upper Arlington. But then I figured out what was going on and why he reopened his office in Hilliard when he has been on the east side his entire life (he had a noncompete). I called his office and asked if he wanted his old patients back and they gave me an enthusiastic “YES!” Of course they wanted us back! The only other dentist I remember dealing with at Stoneridge was Dr. Conkey. I liked Conkey, but have been with Dr. Levy too long to switch now. He does good work and I like the guy. How many people can say that about their dentist? So, yes, I followed Dr. Levy to Hilliard and encourage other patients to do the same. His office is right off of I-70 and Hilliard isn’t as far of a drive as you think. It took me roughly 20 minutes to get there.

First let me say I have a 40 year fear of dentists, but Susan and Dr. Convey made me feel comfortable and at ease. They are so genuinely friendly and easy to talk to. Susan made me feel like I was talking to a friend and took so much time explaining my xrays/photos, issues with my teeth, and options available. For the first time in my life I plan to visit the dentist every 6 months! They are truly amazing and unlike any office I’ve visited. I will never go anywhere else!

I’m going to give you the good, the bad and the uglier of my dental history. I grew up with very crooked teeth and dentists that belittled me and in addition caused me excruciating pain every time I visited. I neglected my dental care due to my hatred of going to the dentist. After years of neglect I knew that I had gum disease and stumbled across Stone Ridge dental. I was scared and embarrassed to visit a dentist but knew that I had to address my gum disease. I feared that I might loose my teeth. They recommend Lanap surgery and I agreed that was my best option. After my surgery I had such a comfort level with their dental team that I inquired about straightening my teeth. They didn’t try to sell me on braces but instead advised me to work on my overall dental health. When my dental health improved we started discussing braces and the cost. I decided to make an investment in myself. The care took longer than what we originally discussed but they didn’t hit me up for more money as they were more concerned with the outcome. I’m not going to tell you that bringing my dental health and appearance has been inexpensive but I can tell you that it is the best money I have ever spent. I work for a company that is recognized for service and we have been ranked with Apple and the Ritz Carlton. I can tell you first hand that these people quite simply get it!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 8 years…I originally came to Stone Ridge Dental for a cracked tooth and then made an appointment for a cleaning. Rayna is pure gold. Her professionalism, patience, and empathy have worked wonders with my autistic son and his fear of the dentist. Sensory issues are often exaggerated in autistic children, and my son is no exception. Unfortunately, previous visits to the dentist had not resulted in positive experiences, and quite often ended in tears from a scared, exhausted little boy. StoneRidge Dental Care’s amazing technical staff has changed that for him. From start to end, Rayna was patient and kind, showing him what she was about to do, encouraging him to touch and “practice ” what was going to happen next, and allowed him to set the pace and boundaries of the appointment. I am so grateful for her kindness and compassion, and so is he. Highly recommended for Autistic children.

From the processes regarding scheduling, the steps that were being completed during my cleaning, and how to better understand WHY they were completing certain items. I can not express enough how wonderful every point of contact was at Stoneridge Dental. It started with Amy when she scheduled my new patient exam, then to Susan who gave the most informative and detailed exam, to Dr. Conkey the hilarious and thorough exam and then to check out. I have been to multiple dentists in our area. StoneRidge Dental Care in Gahanna is the ultimate in dental care. I have always been fearful and nervous at all dental office’s, until I tried StoneRidge Dental. Their entire staff, especially Dr. Conkey and Remi, my dental hygienist, are so pleasant and extremely friendly. They make sure I’m comfortable every time, which totally helps with the nerves! As an adult, it’s hard to find a dental office that helps you feel comfortable and is hard to make connections with the staff. This place has been amazing since my first visit a while ago. This is the best place to get your teeth how YOU want them to look. I came in as an appointment because my teeth had been badly damaged during an incident. They were able to completely form new teeth from nothing. They look great and I finally feel back to my normal self. Thank you thank you Stoneridge Dental! I have always had extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, even the thought of going has always been extremely unsettling. A few years back I had a horrible experience at an ImmediaDent and could not even stomach the thought of going to a dentist since then. Though extensive online research I found StoneRidge Dental and while still having my personal reservations, I made an appointment. After visiting yesterday I can finally say I do not have the same level of anxiety towards a Dentist. The day before my appointment I received a call from Dr. Conkey, just to make sure I didn’t need anything and was prepared for my comprehensive exam. Who would of thought one of the Doctor’s would make a personal call to a first time patient. Upon arrival there was nothing but sincere comfort towards making sure I was at ease, relaxed, and informed every step of the way. Maggie did an amazing job making sure I was informed with all cost incurred and what my insurance would and would not cover. I cannot say enough about Jodi, she has a motherly approach that kept me so at ease I could not believe it. I made sure to schedule my next appointment’s with her, and will always choose her to the extent I can control. I can assure you that everyone on their team will be just as comforting and professional every step of the way. Dr Murphy-Moberger put my experience over the top if that is even possible. Dr. Conkey even came by the room to say hello and follow up from the phone call the day before. I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience and to my surprise am looking forward to my next visit’s and getting my dental health back to where it should be. I would re-soundly recommend this practice to anyone and everyone looking for a comfortable and through experience.

I am a big fan of Stoneridge Dental! I have been a patient in this practice for 28 years. What keeps me coming back even though I moved and have to drive across town to reach Stoneridge? The professionalism of the Dr. Conkey, the hygienists, and the office staff. I appreciate that Stoneridge has always used the latest technologies and practices and I have never been pressured into a service that wasn’t needed. I especially appreciated today’s visit where my hygienist, Rana, went above and beyond to help me with a tooth sensitivity issue, Alexis worked to find someone who could take dental impressions after my cleaning so I wouldn’t need to make a return visit across town, and Trish did a fabulous job taking my impressions even though it wasn’t on her schedule to do so.
