If you’re looking for a place to handle your little one with the best care, look no more. My 27 month old chipped a decayed incisor tooth, this happened on a weekend so I immediately emailed the facility and Dr. Sturz took the time to read through my panicked, long novel of an email (I’ve been so stressed about this and rambled quite a bit about all my concerns ) I received a call right away the next business day answering all my questions, not only did he take the time to personally call me and go into clear detail about the best approach to fix this without the fear of serious sedation, or a traumatic experience, he assured me this was the best route for my little guy. Now I know as a mother and parent it’s extremely hard to not be in the room with your child and to hand over your little one without being present , but this is where entrusting professionals like Sturz and Abby’s team to do their job come into play. I agonized over this appointment, absolutely terrified my son would not cooperate and be scared. To my surprise, he went right back with the dental assistants and not even ten minutes later Dr. Sturz was done holding my little guy. I honestly feel kids do better without parents, it’s also great to promote independence as difficult as it may be to not be there, it was fine for us. I’m still amazed, thankful and forever grateful for the amazing care we received today. I have seen probably 5 other pediatric dentists in town for options and no one compares to this facility. They are the highest level of professional & are hands down the most skilled and caring with little ones and children. Thank you for much for easing this worried Mom’s fear today and for fixing my sons tooth. The funniest part of it all, my son cried to leave! He wanted to stay, that’s how you know your child was treated with the upmost care. Thanks again Dr. Sturz for your caring bedside manner & for everything!

Today was my son’s first visit to the dentist. From the moment we walked through the door, to the moment we walked out of the building, the staff was amazing! RDA Megan was so good with my son. He was so comfortable with his visit. The Dr was thorough with explaining everything to me. I am so very pleased with his visit. I highly recommend this dentist. Such a great atmosphere in that office. Thank you all so very much for helping my son feel comfortable on his first dentist visit.

We bring our little boy to Dr. Sturz. So far, there have only been two visits but no tears at all! Just outside the office on a chalkboard, they write down the names of the kids coming for visits that day. It’s a really cute personal touch. There is a larger waiting room with an aquarium and a smaller side room for kids with a old school Pacman arcade game with joysticks as well as a TV which is usually playing a movie. There is ample parking in the adjacent lot. They accept Delta Dental. The staff have all been very friendly and accommodating. We were late to our first visit because the address in Yelp was actually incorrect initially! (Hence my tip last year) But they still fit us in even though the office was about to close. Dr. Sturz has a great personality that is suited to kids. He had our shy 2 year old smiling and did a thorough dental exam and cleaning which included a fluoride application and flossing. To be honest, I wish my adult dentist was more like him! Afterwards, we usually take home a goody bag with a new toothbrush, mini toothpaste, some kid flossers and a toy. We got a water squirty toy frog last time, which my son still plays with in the bathtub months after his visit.

I was fortunate to receive many positive recommendations to bring our family here. The office is warm and inviting, the office staff cordial and professional and the dentists are caring and efficient. I have a child with special needs and they go above and beyond to ensure as good experience as possible, with no sedation necessary. I love the iPads with age appropriate apps and the pac man arcade game too. I suspect we will continue to come here for many years to come.

I love this office! My 5 yr old has no fear of going to the dentist at all. The Dr is very patient and great with the kids. I have had no problems with billing or payments at all. I called my insurance to make sure that this office is on my IN network provider list and a detailed list (from the insurance company) of what is covered and how much of it is covered. The staff is wonderful and very pleasant. I highly recomend this office to all my friends and family.

My daughter has had serious dental issues since birth and Drm Kurt has taken care of her with kindness, gentleness, and we are able to say he restored her health. Furthermore, Dr. Kurt considers the needs of his support staff and their children at the highest level. Valuing their education throughout the pandemic. Establishing a safe environment for the children to learn and hiring a tutor to help them navigate distance learning. This is an exceptional place beyond any other.

Kurt (Dr. Sturz) is an all around great person. Regardless if your kid is 18 months or 17 years, he is incredible bedside with your child, but can explain everything to you as the parent. He is knowledgeable, professional and interfaces flawlessly with your kiddos other providers if need be. Multiple kiddos? No problem! The office was built FOR kids, (even ones in their 30’s like me ). Plenty for kiddos to do while they wait on their siblings. This office does not sedate kids – if you START your kids here they will never fear the dentist. If their current dentist is not like Kurt and his team, and your child fears the dentist, bring them to Sturz & Abby and you will see the difference and your kids won’t be terrified of the dentist. Does your child have special needs? The Sturz & Abby team are hands down the best in the region for treating kiddos who are special. His office staff is exceptional as well, which makes a HUGE difference. Our 20 month old twins have seen Kurt since birth, and we trust no one else with their care. Five stars , two thumbs up , best in the REGION! As a side note, it is true that parents are not permitted back after a certain age, but this is a PROVEN method with the Sturz Team, talk to anyone who has brought their kiddos here for years and they will tell you it works.

I took my son to his first appointment today with Dr . Sturz. My son is 2(3 in Feb) and he was very nervous but the staff and Dr made him feel comfortable and happy! Dr was amazing and so great with my son ! I felt at ease and so comfortable taking him there and with my experience. My son didn’t want to leave! He didn’t cry or even show any signs of being in distress or upset…he was calm and happy during the entire exam..the staff is very welcoming and safe.. I will definitely be taking my son back and I am so glad we chose Sturz and Abby!!! However, I am reading reviews that once the child turns three they cannot go back with a parent..that makes me worry and I’m not comfortable with that policy for that is the case .

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Sturz office. He is awesome with kids, as is his staff!! My daughter gets excited about going to get her teeth cleaned and is rewarded with cute little toys on check out. He explains and shows parents everything in detail and makes you feel real comfortable leaving your child in his and his staff’s hands. We NEVER have to wait long after check in. My kids just started going to Dr Kurt about 7 months ago. My oldest needed lots of work done and they did a fabulous job! She still to this day doesn’t know she got “the S word” all she knows is her gums went to sleep. Even after all her work, she was excited to go back for another visit. I feel so comfortable with them. The whole office staff is very attentive to my concerns and they are all so kid friendly. Always a fun trip going to the dentist!!!

My son and daughter see Dr. Kurt, and I have never been more pleased with a health care professional! Dr. Kurt himself is friendly and obviously knowledgeable about pediatric dentistry. He makes visits as efficient and pleasant as possible, not only for the patients, but also for the parents. He’s happy to explain findings and treatments, as well as answer any questions and respond to concerns. The administrative staff and dental assistants are amazing with the kids and try to make every dental visit fun. The facility itself is clean, cheerful, well-decorated, and has activities for kids of all ages. In addition, the group occasionally hosts activities, such as a morning at CALM last Halloween and free coffee/lemonade for Mother’s Day. We are SO glad to have found Sturz & Abby!

What a wonderful surprise it was to walk into this office. So child friendly, they’ve created an atmosphere that’s soothing and comfortable. My son was apprehensive all day about the visit. Let me explain it like this….He had a tooth extracted and walked out with a smile on his face..a 7 year old… Great place, absolutely !
