I had toothache on one of the teeth that had crown work done like 20 years ago. For any typical dentists, they would most likely to re-do the crown work. But, not with Dr. Sun. She listened to me carefully, and checked the biting pattern on both sides. She told me the tooth in pain wasn’t the problem, the pain was the result of a tidy teeth formation that created extra pressure to the tooth with crown. Once diagnosed, she grinds off the formation and that was it!

I recently went to Dr. Sun with a lot of tooth pain. After her assessment in which I answered her questions, and performed a bite test, she diagnosed the problem to be an old filling and minor tooth misalignment. She slightly numbed the area and set to work. I can’t believe how gently she was!! I understand why she is so good with children. She has a very steady skillful mastery of her dental tools. I could barley feel her drilling polishing or any of the actions she took to correct my problem. I practically slept while she worked. I must also say she is an artist. She not only corrected my problem but improved my smile with her techniques of adding a material and blending. I can say she has a passion for improving her patients smiles along with improving their dental health.

After my family relocated from Columbus, Ohio, We are very luckily find a beautiful Victoria building which was designed and build by an Orhtodontist Dr. Barbakove and an o Oral Surgeon Dr. Scaramalla. Gradually friends and family from local and distant city filled our practice. Dr. Sun graduated from Loma Linda University in 1998, She also holds M.S. on TMJ treatment from SUNY at Buffalo New York. She’s continually participating in dental continuing education at UCLA and USC. She has finished 200+ CE hours of Orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning from USDI (an institute and study club for orthodontics study for General dentist). Dr.Sun is certified Invisalign provider. She is a contributing author to The Magazine of Santa Clarita and has written a number of articles on dental health. She is a member of American Dental Association; California Dental Association and San Fernando Dental Society since 1998. Dr.Sun has unique ability and artistic talent by helping her patients achieve their beautiful smile.
