I was blown away by this office! A friend referred me. My cleaning was very gentle and attentive, the office is squeaky clean and calming, and I got a lot of information about my teeth that I have never gotten from YEARS of visits to other dentistries. (And not upsell information. Dr. Nguyen was very honest – “you don’t need a root canal for this,” “if you’re thinking about Invisalign consider that first” types of conversation that felt very trustworthy.) In most dentistries I feel like a piece of meat being passed from one person to another, and as a result I hate going to the dentist, but at Sunlight I felt very cared for. I have so much more information about how to take care of my teeth and gums. My cleaning was also painless, which makes me wonder about all the painful cleanings I’ve gotten in previous years from other businesses. I would recommend this business to just about anyone (and I live in the loop! While it was 20 minutes’ drive each way, there was no wait, so my time commitment was probably actually shorter.) HIGHLY recommend

I read through many different clinics reviews and Sunlight Dental group had some really great reviews so I chose them. I am not disappointed with my choice. Great clinic.  Thank you Dr. Vince Nguyen for helping me.  I highly recommend coming here to see Dr. Vince Nguyen.  The staff are easy going and friendly.  This makes going to the dentist easier.  Dr. Nguyen is also very conservative in presenting his options and letting you think and decide also, and doesn’t seem aggressive like some other dentists.  He genuinely wants to help me and I appreciate that.  Getting over my fear of going to the dentist after being here, thank you.  I think that having a friendly relationship with your dentist is important, so that you can feel safe when you get injected with needles in your mouth, and I can find that here, so I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen and this clinic.

Great clinic, I love Dr. Nguyen and his assistants.  If you are in Pearland you should check out this clinic, it’s privately own and not a corporate office and you can tell the difference.  They do not push any treatment on you, they just tell what you need and answer your questions so you can make your own decisions.  Other offices own by corporates that I have been to seem to put a lot of pressure on the dentist and staff to push treatment on you and sell you treatment you do not need, it’s really odd to see that in healthcare.  If you are in Pearland, support your local business and private businesses.  I highly recommend this clinic, and hope to see them do well.

Dr. Nguyen and his staff are very professional, kind, and caring to their patients. They always try to accommodate our family’s scheduling needs. With each visit, we are well-informed of all services with clear, detailed explanation beforehand. All the services rendered are high quality but very affordable. The clinic is very welcoming, clean and organized with free wi-fi so waiting is not too cumbersome. We never had to wait too long though because we get seen soon after we checked in. Dr.Nguyen & his team are pretty awesome! After switching my insurance from DHMO to PPO, I was determined to find a good dentist & stick with him or her. I’m happy I found Dr. Nguyen. I’m not a fan of pain, so I appreciate the extra numbing before every procedure. Unfortunately, I had a really bad root canal that started giving me problems before my first appointment, so I was worried Dr. Nguyen wouldn’t help me until after my first visit. Thankfully, they prescribed me meds to help with the pain. Everyone is very knowledgeable & they make you feel like family from the moment you step foot in the door. The office is always clean and they have a cute and well-organized coffee station. After 1 root canal & 12 fillings – I know 12 is a lot – my teeth feel & look 10 times better. I’m excited that I finally found a dentist I’m happy with.

I believe that few people have a true calling for what they do but Dr. Nguyen is one. I’ve been to serveral dentist over the years and he is by far the best. His professionalism, his knowledge and updated dental technology is amazing and for recurring issues, he comes up with viable solutions to correct the issue. I also love that he is very conscious of how he’s working on your mouth and has a soft spoken manner which I find very calming. I waited 6 months for my dental enrollment so that I could change my plan so that I could have him in my network. I had a really painful tooth, so I went to Sunlight Dental to see if they could help me. I met with Dr. Nguyen, and he knew right away that the nerve in my tooth was dead. He advised me that I needed to get a root canal to remove the nerve as this would eliminate the pain. I was really scared because I never had a root canal before! Dr. Nguyen assured me that everything would be okay and that he does this procedure all the time. I decided to go through with it… After he was done, the pain was finally gone! Luckily, my insurance was able to cover the cost of procedure. I am really happy that Dr. Nguyen helped me out though. I would be in so much pain without him. I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful office, the Dr. makes the office!  My story is that I have always been afraid of going to the dentist, and furthermore, I often feel ashamed of my smile.  I also have had bad experiences where I felt like no one cared to take care of me AND they shame me into not taking care of my teeth.  I waited until I am in pain to come in, and Dr. Nguyen was so nice, gentle, and really didn’t make me feel any shame at all!  I thought, wow, so not all dentists are jerks.  Not all dental visits are scary, AND never wait until I am in pain again to come in.  Getting sedated was also a great option, I was pretty much sleeping while getting my broken wisdom teeth removed, when he woke me up to tell me I was done, I thought they were joking with me, and I thought it was so cruel to joke, but they were really done!  I highly recommend this clinic!  God Bless them!

Great experience.  I was sedated while getting dental care and I was comfortable and might have gone to sleep taking a nice nap.  I can’t believe I have avoided going to the dentist for so long out of fear of pain and discomfort.  Having a good dentist also helps a lot, someone who is gentle and easy going like Dr. Nguyen.  If a dentist is stressed out you can tell or rushing that can be worse for those like me with fear.  So I am glad I found this place, ask for sedation options! I’ve been to Sunlight several times now for my routine cleaning and x-rays. I have only positive things to say about  Dr. Nguyen and his staff. Everyone is very friendly, the office is clean, bright and modern. They are also open on Saturdays which is a plus for me as it’s hard to get away from work on the weekdays. Dr. Nguyen is a class act. He has a beautiful new office with state of the art equipment. Digital x-rays, digital charting, flatscreen TVs in every room. The thing is, a lot of new offices like this have a lot of bills to pay. I’ve been around people in the dental industry all my life, so I know what to look for. Dr. Nguyen is a straight shooter. He doesn’t overdiagnose and overtreat to pay overhead, as a lot of other dental offices are infamous for. He is conservative with his treatment plans and gives you options according to your comfort level and finances. He cares, he’s sincere and you can trust him. He’s also not just an accomplished clinician, but he’s a talented cosmetic dentist. He has a great eye. He fixed a large chip on one of my front teeth and transformed my smile. Dr. Nguyen also has an amazing team. His assistant Yesica and office manager Kathleen are pros. I live in the Heights and drive to Pearland because I trust him and know I will get superior treatment and customer service. He’s worth it.

Upon walking into Sunlight Dental, I was immediately blown away by how comforting the atmosphere was. In previous dental office experiences, the waiting area can feel stuffy and stale. I went to Sunlight Dental Group for a routine cleaning after seeing some great reviews online about Dr. Nguyen. When I arrived, I was really happy to see how clean the place looked and smelled. It has a nice lobby with modern furniture and even a little nook for free coffee! I met with Dr. Nguyen’s dental assistant, and she set me up in one of their rooms. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable (which is hard because I usually hate going to the dentist). When I met Dr. Nguyen, he was also very polite, and he checked my teeth further. He was careful and really took his time examining my teeth! What I liked most is that he didn’t treat me like I was in an assembly line and hurry through my cleaning. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Sunlight Dental Group. I am very picky about who I see in Houston as this is a very large city, and the doctor’s typically rush through patients to stay on schedule. This was definitely not the case here! Dr. Nguyen was very attentive, and he explained to me in detail what I should be working on to maintain my pearly whites. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR

Dr. Vince Nguyen is excited to be a part of the Pearland, TX community. Dr. Nguyen completed his Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. From there, Dr. Nguyen moved to Boston, MA and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Boston University in 2007 with high honors, designated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Nguyen regularly attends continuing education classes all over the country to stay up-to-date with dental materials and technology advancement. In his spare time you will find Dr. Nguyen practicing yoga at various yoga studios in Houston, and teaching hot and power flow yoga at YogaOne Studios.
