My family and I became patients of Dr. Vice 3 years ago. Since the switch in dentist she has been a miracle worker for us! I have had Invisalign, wisdom teeth removed and an implant done. She has done root canals on my husband. My oldest has had wisdom teeth removed and Invisalign. Our whole family gets our regular cleanings at the Cary office as well. I was thrilled to be able to have a dentist and team that is so educated and experienced in more than just general dentistry. Her advice of alternating Tylenol and ibuprofen works like a miracle. I’m glad to have a doctor that does not prescribe habit forming drugs! Thank you Dr. Vice and team for all of your hard work and making sure my family has healthy teeth!

Dr. Vice and his staff did an excellent job removing my impacted wisdom teeth. The experience was as comfortable as can be and the team was very friendly, caring, and accommodating to my needs. I was in and out in under two hours, and very happy with the decision to only use local anesthetic. The procedure was pretty much painless, with only minimal discomfort in the following days. I am glad I waited to find a dentist I felt comfortable with. 100% recommend!

Check-in was quick and wait time was extremely minimal. Assistant and hygienist were excellent. Had deep cleaning performed and it went as well as a deep cleaning can possibly go. That being said, I was in minimal discomfort afterward and would highly recommend Sunrise for any dental procedure.

I have been going to Sunrise dental probably around 10 years now. I like that I always have the same dental hygenist who understands my fears and makes sure I am always comfortable. The facilities are clean and while there are no private rooms, you do feel like you have some privacy. During my years of going here, they have made recommendations for work needed, and during those times I have had work done everything went smoothly before during and after surgery. They take care credit as well which has been helpful. I would recommend them to everyone.

My husband was suffering some severe tooth pain Wednesday evening. I wanted to make sure he was seen promptly and quickly as he was in immense pain. Luckily, the team at Sunrise was able to schedule an emergency appointment first thing Thursday morning. They were accommodating and made him feel instantly at ease about being there. The front desk and dental staff made him feel welcome and he signed up for treatment that very day. Fast forward a few days, and my husband is feeling much better. He is finally able to eat solid foods again, and we credit the staff at Sunrise for making this possible. I would recommend anyone to the Sunrise dental team as they took great care of my husband.

I’ve been getting routine oral care at Sunrise since it opened and just had to have 3 old filling replaced. I gotta tell you – I was a little anxious because it’s been 20 years since I’ve had any real “work” done with my teeth. There’s no need to worry here, what was I thinking? Best Dental Office in the Triangle- I have been to several dentist’s around the triangle- Dr. Vice and Sunrise Dental is far and away the best. A very pleasant, courteous staff; I honestly did not even feel when he gave me a shot to give me a filling; and a very detailed treatment plan for future visits was nice. One of his dental assistants, Katie, is honestly so nice she will actually make you not dread going to the dentist. She is such a breathe of fresh air you will want to punch yourself in the mouth just to have a reason to go back! Seriously though they did a great job all around and I would highly recommend them.

My family and I have found a new dentist. When my wife fell and broke her teeth we had an impossible time finding an oral surgeon. Our doctor could not get return calls. The emergency room could not direct us. Dr. Vice’s staff had us in the office in less than 1 1/2 hours. The surgery required was performed in the office and was so well done we knew we needed to look no further for a well-qualified oral surgeon. The initial results are amazing, but that does not tell the whole story. We arrived at 3:40 and my wife was in a chair and seeing Dr. Vice by 3:45. Dr. Vice stayed with my wife and I until 6:15 when the surgery and other procedures were complete, and he was not alone. There were at least four members of his staff still there, assisting, and helping us. We thanked them for staying late and every one of them insisted that it was not a problem. They acted like they did this all the time. We know that we are not their only patients, but they made us feel like we were. We will not go anywhere else for our dental needs.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted on Friday. I am from Virginia and drove to Raleigh to have Dr Vice perform this surgery. Hands down the best decision I have ever made. His staff made me feel comfortable and secure in my decision to have him extract my teeth. I’m ALL about you get what you pay for- and if you want the best of the best, I suggest him. I had an unusually difficult extraction and I didn’t feel comfortable with anyone else doing this surgery other than him. I am 4 days out of recovery with little to no pain. I didn’t have to take any narcotics- just ibuprofen and Tylenol for the minimal discomfort. I have little to no swelling now on the forth day- and plan to return to work tomorrow. Highly suggest this practice for your oral surgery needs!

Love this place! Love Roberta Brown and Dr Vice! I discovered this office when I was a poor UNC student with limited dental insurance and needed to get wisdom teeth removed. This office was very helpful in working with me to pay for the procedure without judgement because I couldn’t afford to pay for it out of pocket, unlike other offices I visited that required massive down payments. They set me up with a carecredit line minus my Caribou Coffee dental (great dental coverage for Barista standards!) and I ended up paying small installments with my small student salary. Four years later, I still come for the cleaning and fillings. They have THE best staff (Roberta Brown, RDH) and Dr Vice, who take great care of this patient! I trust them since I have great anxiety growing up in a country that didn’t value painless dental care. Thank you for being so kind and understanding!!

I just moved to the Raleigh area so I didn’t have a local dentist yet but it was time for me to get my teeth cleaned. I’m embarrassed to say I was a little past due. I knew I didn’t want to go to one of those dentists that have their office in a strip mall. Coming from the town I grew up in that just seems strange to me. My morning commute takes me right down Spring Forest to Falls of Neuse, right by them, every morning and I didn’t even realized it was a dentist office. So when I searched online for a nearby dentist I was surprised to find out that the “house” on the corner was actually Sunrise Dental. lol When I first got there, I was impressed with how nice and comfortable the office was. Being in that part of town it’s in it’s almost like a retreat! The staff there was very welcoming and the chairs in the waiting room are real comfortable. It’s a good thing I didn’t have to wait very long or I might have taken a nap. lol My cleaning went well. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, which is exactly what I was looking for. In health care, no news is good news. Dr. Vice was very personable, and I guess because I was new he took a minute to talk to me after he checked my teeth. The whole experience was very pleasant. Couldn’t have hoped for more. I think I’m pretty lucky to have found a new dentist in my new city on my first try! Checked that one off my list… I’d definitely recommend Sunrise Dental to anyone that asks. Thanks guys!

Dr. Vice replaced two 20+ year old crowns on my upper front teeth, added crowns/veneers to the teeth on either side, and performed a gingivectomy from eye tooth to eye tooth in one sitting. Yes, the appointment was lengthy. However, the crowns were made in-office, no temporary crowns or second appointment needed. This made the one longer visit worthwhile. Again, the staff was very polite and attentive. I do have to single out Carla for her exceptional care and work with Dr. Vice on this visit. Great team! Will be back in a few weeks for my routine cleaning with Susan, and I know I will receive more great care! Highly recommend Sunrise to anyone who values high tech dental care provided by a great team.

From the moment we walked in to the office, we were greeted by the friendliest staff member who checked us in. My daughter is 4 and was anxious about her visit. All of that anxiety went away when this staff member took her around the waiting room, showing her the fish tanks and toys. It didn’t stop there. I had an extraction done. My Doctor did the best application of Novocaine I’ve even experienced and I’m 61 years old. Careful, gentle and precise, I got 4 shots with almost no discomfort. I’ve had 2 extractions in the past, and even though this one was a molar in the back of my mouth, it was removed so smoothly that I didn’t know he was finished when the job was done. I’ve been to 7 different dentists in Raleigh over the years, and I wish I had found Sunrise Dental first. They are the best.
