After nearly nine years of no dental care, not even one cleaning, I decided to go see a dentist because I had been putting off getting a broken tooth repaired and decided it was finally time. I was worried I would have a plethora of cavities and nervous because it had been so long. I chose Dr. Beck because he is in my neighborhood but also because his website promotes his practice as accepting, gay friendly, and environmental. (There’s even a photo where a woman has tattoos, so I felt I would be cared for and not judged.) Pattee, his assistant, is very friendly and additionally, very thorough with reviewing insurance benefits. She went over my plan with me so I knew what would be covered and the cost of any work before it was done. Dr. Beck is extremely kind and talks to you throughout the visit, explaining as he goes, so that I always felt I was in the loop and understood just what he was doing. I ended up needing a root canal and a crown and Dr. Beck recommended me to a great endodontics practice for the root canal (Dr. Kristine Yoon Lin) and then he fitted the crown himself. He is very gentle and the procedure was painless and quick and my crown looks amazing! I feel like I have my smile back! I also had a cavity filled which was quick and painless as well. I sent my boyfriend to see Dr. Beck because of the quality of care I received. Aside from being a courteous, competent and sterling dentist, Dr. Beck is very warm, engaging and quite charming. I sincerely enjoyed meeting him and will not be dreading any future work. I couldn’t be happier with the work he preformed, his choice staff and the cookies he hands out after your visit. Go visit this guy, you won’t regret it. Seriously.

★★★★★

I can’t say enough good about Dr Beck-as well as his staff. I’ve seen him for years now, and he provides quick, diligent, flexible, and most importantly empathetic care. I know that he’s on my side and is always looking out for what’s best for me. I’ve had awful experiences with dentists growing up, and Sweet Tooth has single handedly changed how I look at modern dentistry.

★★★★★

I’m very nervous about dentists, and was especially nervous about having to find a new one after moving to Seattle, but I’m happy to say that I’m so happy with this practice and I finally found my go-to dentist in Seattle! First, the entire staff is great – the dental hygienists are SUPER attentive and thorough. Pattee was great at coordinating my appointments and was super responsive. She also was super helpful in walking through my insurance coverage with me. Dr. Gene Beck is the best. He’s incredibly detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and attentive. He explained every single step of the procedures, what all of the numbers and dental jargon meant, and would check in on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing ok. Since I get so much anxiety at dentists in general, this immediately put me at ease. There were a few tiny stains on my teeth that prior dentists said they couldn’t (and obviously didn’t want to bother to) remove, but Dr. Beck noticed and removed them right away – without me even having to bring it up! I had a filling replaced and honestly it was the most comfortable dental procedure I’ve had. I’m already recommending this dental practice to all my friends & family!

★★★★★

I’ve been going to this dentist for the past 2 years. The team is phenomenal! At my first appointment, we did the normal paperwork, x-rays, insurance check, etc. All the things you expect at a first appointment with a new dentist. Every hygienist has been friendly, considerate, skilled with those pesky tartar scrapers and flossing, and they have some neat technology (sonic scalers?!) that make my check-ups quick and pain free. I’ve never had a cavity, so I can’t speak to that experience. I get x-rays once a year, to keep an eye on a spot or two on my teeth, and haven’t felt pressured to go under the drill. Dr. Beck is friendly and professional. I feel confident in the work that he does. My introvert procrastinator side enjoys that I can set up appointments online, and that I get e-mail reminders. Best part – you get a few small cookies at the end! I don’t know about the other reviewer feeling like they’re “promoting cavities” – you can’t tell me you never eat a baked good 🙂

★★★★★

This was my first visit to the dentist in nearly ten years, and I needed a LOT of work done. Dr. Beck and his team were friendly and professional, and spent a lot of time answering my questions and ensuring I understood every aspect of the treatment I needed. The warm cookies at the end are a nice touch, and mean I now associate visits to the dentist with fresh cookies 🙂

★★★★★

I’ve been going to Dr. Beck for several years now, but today’s experience really motivated me to write a review. I had a filling fall out a few days ago. First, the office was able to quickly slot me in. When I came in for the appointment, we started promptly, and Dr. Beck was very methodical, explaining each step of the process and how it would feel. Best of all, I was out in half an hour, all fixed up. With cookies 🙂

★★★★★

I had been with my family dentist for nearly 30 years, so I was very reluctant to make the switch. However, making the journey from Seattle to Mill Creek without a car was approaching an undertaking of ridiculous proportions, so I started looking around for other options and I found Sweet Tooth Family Dental, almost right down the street. I made my first appointment online via email (star #1!) and arrived early to fill out the paperwork. I was greeted by the very friendly and welcoming Pattee (star #2!) and filled out info on a dry-erase eco-friendly sheet. The office is paperless, which is awesome, and is located in a remodeled home with a lovely front parlor for a waiting room, which is a funny juxtaposition, but very welcoming (star #3!). We did the usual round of xrays and cleaning before Dr. Gene came in, and he was very friendly, gentle, and mellow, and did a great job of walking through the procedure (star #4!). At the end of the visit, I got a bag of tasty homemade cookies (star #5! And slightly hilarious). My second visit was even better than first. Since we didn’t have to deal with paperwork or xrays this round, the appointment went incredibly fast – I was done in 20 minutes, which is probably the shortest medical-related appointment I’ve had in my life, anywhere (star #6!) While I am still fond of my old dentist, I am more than happy about finding Dr. Gene and glad I made the switch.

★★★★★

This place is amazing! They have wonderful service and the place is brand new! All new equipment and very friendly staff. They even bake you fresh chocolate chip cookies on your way out! Definitely the best dental facility I’ve ever been to. Let them know that I sent you and we both may get a gift! Thanks and enjoy!

★★★★★

My boss recommended this place to me with stars in her eyes, and now that I’ve been there, I get it. I never thought I would say this, but “I love this dentist.” It’s hard to express how nice it is to come in to a classy space, and a friendly, smart group of folks who enjoy each others’ company. The whole time I was getting my cleaning, we were dishing about thrift store shopping. I am literally looking forward to going back for my next checkup. It’s probably a lifetime first.

★★★★★

I just went here for the first time today and was totally blown away. I have literally never had anything but a miserable dental experience before, but this was an exception. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly, and they went out of their way to explain everything in detail to me. The equipment was all top of the line, and things moved at a nice pace. When the Doctor came out to go over my results, he continued the quality experience with a small on his face. To top it off, they give you super tasty home made cookies at the end that are absolutely delicious.

★★★★★

My girlfriend, now wife, referred me to Dr Beck. I have always been frustrated with dentists in the past. They always recommend this and that for a couple thousand dollars. Not with Dr Beck. He has always been honest and professional. If you want excellent dentistry without the BS see Dr Beck. Excellent dentist!!

★★★★★

So I did pop into Sweet Tooth Family Dental for a much needed dental check up at 7am on 12/31 in attempt to use up my dental insurance before the year ended. It was my first time at Sweet Tooth and my first time going to a dentist in the US, so I didn’t really know what to expect. To my surprise, going to see the dentist here wasn’t scary at all. Everyone (Dr. Gene Beck–dentist, Pattie–receptionist/administrator and Karla–dentist assistant were really kind, friendly and helpful (in fact, she had been very responsive even when I first made an appointment online via their website before I even went in). They promptly took me in on time, didn’t make me feel uncomfortable with some of my answers/my tooth conditions, explained my situation and helped prioritize the work that needed to be done with my teeth, and even drafted a personalized dental plan for me! So, I didn’t feel so bad visiting a dentist after all…and the work I got done didn’t hurt me (yet…)..Best, I have my 3 future appointments already set up with them and even got a small bag of chocolate chip cookie treats on my way out of their office to work 🙂

★★★★★

My fiancee recommended this office to me. We moved here within the last year and she had had a really positive experience Let me just say that this is one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. I take my dental hygiene pretty seriously and I’m very particular about which dentist to use. Pattee at the front desk is an absolute gem. From start to finish she made booking my first appointment incredibly easy. She even went to the trouble of reviewing my health benefits to make SURE that I was covered and then helpfully explained the way my plan worked to me when I arrived at the office. She was also very prompt and courteous via email. Dimitra was very helpful as well and contributed the overall good feeling I had in the office. Dr. Beck himself was fantastic and did my initial exam and cleaning himself. He spent plenty of time making me feel at ease and discussing my particular case. Overall, this office is top notch and they provide excellent service with a personal touch. Highly recommended.

Recently relocated to Seattle and besides changing my drivers license, looking for a new Family Dentist was on our list. While peddling my bike in the area I came across Sweet Tooth Family Dental. Located in charming victorian style built structure, a home feel to it, white cabinets, walls painted with shades of yellow, and large windows, creating a open and warm and well lighted space. I have since crossed off the “need to find a new dentist from my list”. Dr Gene Beck, Pattie and Carla made me feel very welcome from the moment I walked in. Pattee, (yes she speels her name with 2 ee,s) receptionist/Dental Asssistant was able to provide me with what to expect as in my insurance guidelines / cost almost to the exact amount to what to expect for services, which helped me to plan my appointments. Carla, Dental Assistant made me feel very comfortable as well, lets face it, sitting back in a dental chair is not the most relaxing place to be. Dr Beck consistently checked in with me while he examined, and completed what needed to be done, a very gentle approach. And upon completion of services, I was given some home made cookies! Pattee explained to me that Dr Beck bakes every morning for his patients. Oh, yes they are yummy!! Makes me want to go back, now who would want to go back to a dentist?. So if you want a dentist who keeps the patients well being in mind with a gental approach, great support staff, and reviews of local resturants, I almost forgot to mention that, Dr Beck is very knowlagble of great places to eat as well as cookies when you leave the chair, make an appointment with Sweet Tooth Family Dental.

★★★★★

My last dentist office had closed and I had procrastinated on finding a new dentist…for three years! I was a little anxious about the whole process of going somewhere new after so long, but the Sweet Tooth staff could not have made it easier. Their online appointment request form is great, especially if you aren’t able to call during their business hours. I set up my appointment via email with Pattee and she walked me through everything that I could expect for my appointment, including all my insurance questions. Their office is warm and welcoming, its in an old house that has been renovated, which is charming and also relaxing. It doesn’t have the sterile doctor feel some offices can have. The entire staff was so friendly I immediately felt like I’d been there before. Dr. Beck himself couldn’t have been better, he speaks with you like you’ve been friends for years, not like you are just another patient. I really got the impression that he’s passionate about what he does. True to the name, they really did hand me a bag of home-made cookies after the appointment! I was surprised to have a dentist hand me sweets, but of course it came with the request to brush which seems like a fair enough trade. I’ll take it! I am so glad I ended up here, if you are considering a new dentist I highly recommend Sweet Tooth!

★★★★★

I’m skittish about the dentist, and while I had a dental office I loved in Chicago, since I moved to Seattle several years ago I hadn’t had my teeth checked. Yada yada yada, I made an appointment at Sweet Tooth. Their office manager, Pattee, was very clear about getting set up as a new patient, gave me all the necessary forms — including those to have my dental records sent over from my previous office — and all their policies about new customers. All of this was well in line with my previous experiences at dental offices. (So, with that in mind, I have no idea what the sole 1-star review here is talking about. I’ve never heard of a dentist taking a new patient without x-rays and an exam first.) Sweet Tooth has a field on their forms where you can specify if you’re an anxious patient, which I checked (because I am), for which I was very grateful. Pattee is wonderful at her job, she walked me through my insurance policy (!!) so I would be prepared for any out of pocket expenses for this and future visits. My appointment started on-time, the assistant (I think) did my x-rays, Dr. Beck did my exam and cleaning. He was very gentle and mindful of my anxiety throughout, he listened to my concerns and didn’t talk down to me at all. At the end of the appointment Pattee went over the costs for my upcoming services and Dr. Beck gave me a little bag of very tasty cookies. I look forward to visiting Sweet Tooth again for my routine dental exams.

★★★★★

When it comes to making timely visits to the dentist, I am a failure. After 3 years of putting it off, I finally decided it was time. Looking through recent Yelp reviews of the last dentist I visited in Seattle, it sounded as if their service had gone majorly downhill in the last few years, so I decided to look elsewhere. The new(ish) Sweet Tooth Family Dental sounded promising based on its 5-star reviews; that coupled with the fact that it’s a 10-minute walk from my house helped me make my decision to see Dr. Beck. To begin with, the appointment-making process was easy. I chose to make it through e-mail though you can also call the office. Pattee, the extremely nice receptionist, contacted me promptly and was able to fit me into a 7am slot that someone else had canceled for (the only time I could go, and I was expecting to wait a few weeks longer than I had to). They were open and waiting for me at 6:45am. The office was immaculate and tastefully decorated — bright and cheery, with contemporary decor that complimented the historical building it’s in. That I’m even commenting on the decor says a lot since I am usually unaware of these things. Pattee offered me a drink while I waited, and the new patient paperwork was simple (and even done on a reusable laminated sheet with a dry erase pen — very green!). All the machinery was, or appeared to be, brand new and high-tech. I feel bad because I don’t remember the dental hygienist’s name, but she was wonderful. Very friendly, professional, and thorough. Dr. Beck was awesome! He explained everything he was doing (even imparting information about my teeth and gums other dentists never bothered explaining), obviously knew what he was doing, and communicated well with the hygienist. It was nice to be included in the notations they were making on my chart and what they meant rather than just being told to floss more. He’s definitely not your stereotypical stodgy old man of a dentist that may come to mind. I also appreciate that the office uses diverse photos of people on their website and literature, making it a welcoming destination for all. At the end of my visit I was given a little bag with some delicious cookies in it, a nice thought on the part of Dr. Beck and his staff. I highly recommend Sweet Tooth Family Dental, especially for those who are scared of the dentist in general or are apprehensive about getting stuck with a dental nightmare.

★★★★★

Dr. Beck is a fantastic dentist and the staff here are great. My wife and I have been patients here for about five years, the work is high quality, efficient, with kind attention to detail and friendly people. We have had routine care and also more complicated work done and I would very highly recommend this practice. Plus, they give you cookies!

★★★★★

Dr. Beck gave me a very thorough, yet VERY gentle exam. This is the first time I’ve left the dentist with no pain in my gums. Great job! And he was extremely informative throughout my entire exam to let me know what he was doing and what he was finding. The best part? Each patient walks out the door with a little bag of home-made cookies!

★★★★★

I have been a patient of Dr. Beck for years and have had uniformly excellent experiences there as have both my kids. When my 7 year old daughter had a cavity filled Dr. Beck was so careful about explaining to her every step of what he was doing. He treated her with respect and thoughtfulness; the entire experience was not the least bit scary for her. Today was my first time going since Covid-19 and I wanted to write about how impressed I was by all the precautions they have in place. I was definitely nervous before going, but seeing the physical barriers they had added to the space, how they carefully limited the number of people in the office at one time, the extensive PPE worn by Dr. Beck and Carla–I was so reassured to see all the ways they protected both me and themselves. This office is so thoughtful and so meticulous about the work they do and the way they care for their patients. I highly recommend them.

★★★★★

After having a dentist tell me to swallow my own blood after he pulled my teeth I didn’t go back to any dentist for over 10 years. A friend referred me to Sweet Tooth and I’ve been going there now for almost 3 years now! The place is clean, friendly, “homey feeling”, and the staff are so gentle and kind. Also, the place smells like baked cookies and not that dentist/medical building type smell. It’s definitely a win win situation when you get your teeth cleaned and some delicious home made cookies afterwards! Also, Dr. Beck never pushed or tried to sell me on things I didn’t need. I asked him about teeth whitening and he said rather than him doing a treatment that could cost hundreds, he assessed my teeth and told me to just use crest whitening strips and other remedies that he thought would work just as well.

★★★★★

This is the only dentist I have been to Seattle since moving here back in 2012 and I love it. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming. The dentist is very clear in explaining everything to you. I also love the fact that they have such early appointments on the weekdays. If you’re looking for a dentist in Seattle, then this is the only one you should go to. P.S. The dentist always gives you a bag of cookies and new toothbrush after every visit.

★★★★★

I’ve had a few really bad dental experiences and coming here was such a breath of fresh air! The atmosphere of the place is so incredibly cozy, the entire staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Dr. Beck is the best dentist I have ever been to and as I was walking out the door, he even handed me a little baggie of chocolate chip cookies he personally made. I am incredibly happy with my experience at Sweet Tooth Family Dental! 🙂

★★★★★

I can’t compliment Sweet Tooth enough. My whole experience from registration to the exam/ckeaning was easy and professional. Dr. Beck is professional, kind, and thorough, taking a lot of time explaining everything to me. They care a lot about patient comfort doing even small things like giving you eye wear covering to reduce the discomfort from the bright lights shining down on you. I can’t recommend this place enough.

★★★★★

Dr. Beck and his staff are warm, friendly, and welcome questions regarding your services and experience. The appointments are professional and thorough, going an extra step or two further than other offices I’ve experienced in the past. The location is perfect and the take away bag of cookies are a wonderful special touch!

★★★★★

After about five years of avoiding the dentist, I finally relented to my wife’s demands and, fortunately, found Sweet Tooth Family Dental. Dr. Gene Beck and his staff have been respectful, polite, and informative. My nervousness about going to the dentist was immediately addressed when Dr. Beck gave a thorough exam and also took a lot of time to explain what work was a priority and what could wait a few months. Now, I am on my way to clean, healthy teeth, and have found a great dentist that will also be my newborn son’s dentist when he gets his first teeth. I’ve had a filling, a deep cleaning, and a crown and the experience has been comfortable because Dr. Beck and his staff check on my comfort level throughout the procedure. Getting cookies at the end of each visit is just the cherry on top of a great visit. I brush, floss, and get regular dental cleanings which is a great plan for my busy life. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while, or you are unsatisfied with your current dentist, then give Sweet Tooth, Dr. Beck, his staff a chance and I know that you won’t be disappointed!

★★★★★

I had a great time at the dentist today! How often do you hear that? Dr. Beck was highly recommended to me and I now know why. Because it is in a historical home, his office is super cozy. It’s also spotless and equipped with spankin new/modern style equipment (The blood pressure monitor looked like a wrist watch–little things). I loved that the staff were very laid back without sacrificing professionalism. He and his hygienist were very gentle and thorough, explaining everything to me as they worked. Highlight: he’s the first dentist to notice and remove the hunk of residual glue from braces I had removed 14 years prior (THANK YOU)! I also like that they explained the costs and my benefit coverage associated with my treatment plan. Highlight number 2: He sent me out the door with mocha cherry cookies. So yumm!

When I moved to Seattle last year I was in no rush to find a new dentist. I had recently recovered from some pretty traumatic dentist experiences in my past city, and getting that regular checkup was something I was dreading. Fortunately, when I finally summoned up the courage I made the right choice in calling Dr. Beck’s office. My experience was so pleasant that it inspired me to go straight home and sign up for Yelp! just so I could praise Sweet Tooth Dental in such a public forum. First impressions: To enter Dr. Beck’s office, you first walk through the front door of a well-maintained beautiful Craftsman-style house. Then you walk through the office door and speak to the receptionist, Patty. She is so welcoming and warm! My appointment was at 7am, and I walked into the office when the staff was getting settled in for the day. There was friendly chit chat and a warm atmosphere. I was immediately offered a cup of morning coffee and given some simple forms to fill out (not as nightmarish as the forms I usually see on a first visit to a dentist!) The office is beautiful and thoughtfully designed and decorated. Everything is light and bright, the framed prints on the wall are fun and hip. No dreary old posters or destroyed ancient magazines! No elevator music, just good old KEXP. I settled into a cozy armchair and looked through a high-end fashion magazine, though I only waited there for a couple minutes. Carla, the hygienist, immediately came in and introduced herself. She was so friendly–all three of the people I encountered at Sweet Tooth (Dr. Beck, Patty, and Carla) were absolutely wonderful. They seemed to genuinely like being there, which made me happy to be there, too. My checkup was relatively quick and painless. They have a spectacular office–impeccably clean with fantastic equipment. The x-rays were a thousand times easier than any x-rays I had done before. Throughout my checkup and cleaning, Carla and Dr. Beck were both very friendly, pleasant, and clear about what they were doing and why they were doing it. Dr. Beck was especially good with explaining the process, even clarifying what he meant when he would tell Carla certain numbers or use dentist-speak during my checkup. After my appointment, I felt great (my teeth felt even better). I said goodbye to Dr. Beck and thanked him, and he came back with some cookies for me. When I finally checked out with Patty to make my follow-up appointment, she carefully went over my payment and treatment plan in plain English–it’s amazing that I had never experienced that before. Everyone at Sweet Tooth Dental is friendly, warm, and very good at what they do. Strangely, I am even looking forward to going back in a couple weeks to get my fillings.

★★★★★

I highly recommend Sweet Tooth Family Dental. Here is my story that explains why: I am 23 years old and I moved to Seattle 6 months ago. When I arrived in Seattle, I did not know where to look for a dentist. Fortunately, a family friend recommended Sweet Tooth Family Dental. When I arrived for my first appointment at Sweet Tooth Family Dental, I met Dr. Beck. Dr. Beck is friendly, professional and organized. He takes an interest in your interests, career, etc., while also being very clear and thorough as a dentist. When Dr. Beck asked if I had any concerns about my teeth, I told him that I was worried about my gums: my previous dentist told me that I have healthy teeth, but my gum line is receding faster than usual. My previous dentist examined my gums about 1 month prior to my appointment at Sweet Tooth and this dentist told me that I needed a deep cleaning. Dr. Beck was very thorough and cautious about my gums. First, Dr. Beck first double checked my gum measurements and compared his measurements to those taken by my previous dentist. I appreciated his thorough and he explained why he wanted to take new gum measurements: 1) deep cleanings are expensive and you should only get one if necessary 2) it is important to be thorough and cautious about relying on diagnoses from other dentists. I appreciated Dr. Beck’s clear reasoning. He took all of my gum measurements, gave me an X-ray, and more importantly, he explained everything to me. He made sure I felt informed. For instance, he pointed out that there were several discrepancies between his measurements and those of my previous dentist but explained that such differences are often due to the fact that dentists measure gum lines in different places (and at different angles). Slightly changing the angle of one’s wrist can turn a 3mm measurement into a 5 mm measurement. After explaining this to me, Dr. Beck said that overall, his measurements aligned with those of my previous dentist and he agreed that I should receive a deep cleaning. I have returned to Sweet Tooth Family Dental for several follow up appointments (one to make sure that my gums were reacting properly to the deep cleaning and two general check-ups). Each visit was enjoyable and professional. Dr. Beck and the other dental hygienists remember who I am and they make sure I feel welcome and informed about my dental care. I also appreciate that Sweet Teeth Family Dental is sensitive to my financial needs. I do not have dental insurance and when I asked the receptionist (Patty) about finding dental insurance, she gave me some helpful pointers and provided a list of reputable insurance organizations. Additionally, Dr. Beck looked over my records in the months between my appointments to make sure he wasn’t making me come in more than was necessary. Sweet Tooth Family Dental is now my favorite my dental organization (compared to all my previous dentists). I really appreciate that they have taken such good care of me and I will recommend Sweet Tooth to anyone. I hope that they continue to flourish in the Seattle Dentistry Community!

★★★★★

What a perfect little neighborhood dentist’s office. Dentistry experiences are not easy to make pleasant, but Sweet Tooth seems to make every effort imaginable to do so, and they succeed. This seems odd to say but I was almost looking forward to my second visit after coming in here. Patti the receptionist greeted me warmly and explained exactly what the costs would be to the work being done, and broke down how much my insurance would cover and how much I would end up paying. When it comes to American health insurance, clarity is not something easily attainable but Patti made this really easy – serving up beverages and a friendly attitude in the meantime. Dr. Beck’s assistant (didn’t catch her name, sorry!) then prepped me and established this super casual and easy vibe that remained throughout the experience. Dr. Beck then did his examination, explained what needed to be done. While I was getting my filling, Dr. Beck and his assistant took the edge of the drilling by engaging in hilarious conversation. I think the most difficult part of the whole experience was not being able to join in on the banter. I had to wait to add my comments until the procedure was over. Oh and then I got complimentary yummy cookies in a bag and a free toothbrush. All in all, I can’t recommend Sweet Tooth enough. I honestly don’t know how you could run a better dentist office.

★★★★★

My husband and I have been coming here for a few years and recently it occurred to me to ask if my kiddo was ready (he was 20 months old at the time) and if so, do they take on such youngsters? Not only was the answer a resounding yes, but it turns out Dr. Beck is particularly passionate about pediatric dentistry. I brought our son in with the worst outcome in mind – he hated getting his teeth brushed at home so imagine how much I thought he’d freak out at the dentist- and it turned out to be easy peasy. Dr. Beck was great with him and taught us a new, less stressful technique for us to use as home. And in general, the dental hygienists are always so nice and Pattee is beyond helpful. Sweet Tooth is eally just a great place overall – and the cookies are delicious, too.

★★★★★

I’ve been seeing Dr. Beck and his team for just over 2 years, after originally finding Sweet Tooth Dental on YELP! Every visit I’ve had has been great. Patti at the front desk knows the ins and outs of the insurance game, and has explained many of the more confusing points to me more than once. Dr. Beck is both professional and personable – a combination that has been missing in previous dentists I’ve visited. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

★★★★★

I love this place. I’ve been going here for a couple of years and every time I go I’m just delighted to see everybody. They make it so welcoming. It’s the kind of place where the dental assistants actually like each other & make friendly conversation with each other while they’re working on you. Dr. Beck himself is fantastic. We gossip about his thrift store finds (he’s a thrift store diva). I’m often surprised my cleaning is over. I’ve been amazed at how little pain I’ve experienced during the sessions. I honestly don’t mind going back once every six months. And let’s face it, the cookies :-). The man makes you cookies. I recommend this dentist to absolutely everyone who asks.

★★★★★

I went to an absolutely incredible dental practice where I lived before moving to Seattle so I was apprehensive about finding a place as good after I moved to Seattle. I had my first visit to Sweet Tooth Dental a couple of weeks ago for a regular check up and cleaning and it was great experience. Pattee, the administrator, is super responsive and helpful. When I arrived she graciously walked me through everything that my new insurance covers – so amazing! Most dental offices leave all that up to you to figure out. Dr. Beck was a dream, very warm and funny and I never felt like he was rushing. Also appreciate that he off-handedly mentioned he’s not a Republican; I’m not in the business of giving Republicans my business, so that was helpful.

★★★★★

Today, with my friend’s suggestion, I have my broken upper central tooth fixed here with dental bonding and I am writing this review only because it was a great experience. All the staff was very welcoming and Dr. Beck was very professional and friendly. He listed my options and guided me throughout the entire procedure and I am very happy with the results.
