Where do I start? I know….Jullissa (dental assistant) and Dr. Chohan. These professionals were so damn good at what they did I fell asleep twice while one was drilling and the other was suctioning. They were both exceptionally efficient and alert to my slightest facial expressions always asking if everything was ok. They were both sensitive and delicate while navigating their way around my mouth. Ellie and Vanessa at the welcoming desk were so nice and accommodated my weird request. The best thing that ever happened to the dental industry was the introduction and growing population of women……period! No disrespect to the men but there’s nothing like looking up to see a gorgeous professional woman putting in work and as usual leave me a better person then I was before I sat down. I came here after encountering problems with my former dentist (damaged tooth as the result of a botched root canal) and they immediately got me properly taken care of. Bruce Taheri (main dentist) is a very kind and professional man. The dentist that handled my tooth extraction was Alain Jureidini who is a very skilled dental implant specialist. He has done an excellent job at every step of my journey through this procedure. The office manager/administrator of billing has been great to work with as well. I am always given a price up front so I can make an informed decision about what I would like to have done. Finally, I have never had issues with long waits or with procedures that take “longer than they should” so I have no idea what might have happened to some of the people posting prior reviews but I am certain that long wait times and overly long procedures are not the norm. If you want a professional, courteous and above-board dentist who you know you can trust, Taheri Dental Group is the place to go.

The experience I had today at Dr. Taheris office made me wonder why people hate the dentist so much. As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted and attended to. I was even taken back early! And then I see it… the dreaded huge needle for the anesthesia. I’m not gonna lie I was scared. But the doctor and the support staff walked me through it. Told me to take a deep breath and I did just that. And boom, just like that it was done. I couldn’t feel my mouth so nothing hurt. It was great. Only took maybe 20-30 minutes too. Not that I’m proud of my cavities (1st time in my life, due to postpartum) but it wasn’t as I imagined at all! Awesome place 🙂

When I visited my former dentist, I always required nitrious oxide (even for a cleaning) due to my tooth sensitivity. Dr. Tahiri and his hygienist Nina are so gentle that I haven’t needed the drug since switching to this practice. Even a root canal and a tooth extraction have been done with only local anesthesia! They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and able to take care of a wide range of dental procedures – and they have a loyal patient because of it. Well here I am years later writing a review. Don’t get me wrong I’m still currently under treatment with them. My 21-year-old son, my 20-year-old daughter and my 16-year-old daughter have had braces and dental care through this group fir the last 8 years or so. They are absolutely amazing! I am very particular when it comes to cleaning this and they are very very very clean there. The lobby is a little crowded space wise. But other than that anything negative I can see about this place. Originally I had a problem with only having orthodontic services on Thursdays, however I’ve learned how to adapt. Here they treat you just like family. I love them there. Tina the office manager is amazing! Juan the front desk staff and all the staff there are just really nice or have been train to provide 100% best customer service or something. Whatever it is it works. I have referred many friends of mine and I will continue to. Last but not least. They’re also very knowledgeable about insurances procedures and processes.

I became a new patient of Dr. Bruce Taheri in February of 2019. I was looking for a good dentist after having moved to Winchester. He had such good reviews that I thought it was worth my while to drive to Manassas. After visiting him for the first time, I was not disappointed! First, I got a thorough new-patient cleaning and x-rays from one of his assistants. She was extremely thorough and professional, as well as kind and personable. After she was done, Dr. Taheri came in and showed me the x-rays and did an oral exam. He immediately put me at ease with his very friendly and caring manner. He took his time with me, welcoming any questions, and then gave me a clean bill of health (obviously not trying to sell me on any work that I did not need). I found him to be very professional and competent, while still having the personal qualities that I would want in a doctor.
