My experience with Dr. Huser and her assistant, Michelle, was nothing short of amazing! I moved to the Denver area about a year ago and had a terrible experience at another dental office. Dr. Huser, and her entire staff, are simply the best. The doctor is honest and knowledgeable. I am never “upsold” on an unnecessary procedure and the work they do is phenomenal. I love going to a dentist that does my cleanings herself instead of having a doctor pop in for three seconds after a hygienist does the work. Very gentle and incredibly kind people work here. If you’re scared of the dentist, give Dr. Huser a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Tamarac dental was recommended to me by some friends and man am SO GLAD I went!!! (Who EVER says that about a dentist?) I hadn’t been to the dentist in …umm a long time… So NO, I wasn’t looking forward to it! I had put it off so long I thought I’d be there all day and have to get scraped, drilled, poked and prodded!! Due some health circumstances with my dog..I was having a very rough morning. Needless to say, my anxiety was HIGH and I was considering cancelling. I told myself “nah..you’ve waited this long, just get it done.” As soon as I walked in the staff immediately put me at ease. Kaitlyn took my x-rays and got me settled in. She really put me at ease when she said- “yes of course you will get your x-rays and cleaning done today. We don’t drag out the initial appointment for hours.” Phewwwww!! Kaitlyn was just super and chatted with me about scooters while we did x-rays. It was like hanging out with an old friend (well..with x-ray equipment in your mouth.) Dr. Huser was so laid back and friendly and she didn’t push me into extra services or give me the “why aren’t you flossing?” lecture that I have received at other dentists. The cleaning experience was comfortable and Dr. Huser consistently checked in with me to make sure nothing was hurting. Overall great experience and I highly recommend Tamarac Dental care! You will be in good hands!

Dr Huser is really great. She does not pump you for all kinds of unnecessary treatments – one of my biggest objections to dentists. I quit my last dentist because he insisted on giving me gas for a cleaning (so they could bill insurance) . She has good hands, does the cleaning herself (I believe this is important, but unavailable from big practices), has a great personality, and plays great music. She didn’t waste my time giving me a phony angry lecture about flossing. The only thing I would say is that she uses older style x-ray equipment and does not have all kinds of fancy gear, such as dental cameras. Highly recommended.

I’ve worked with many dentists over the years, and when presented with my scenario would’ve chosen to jump in and do palliative care in hopes of ensuring the patient choosing them for restorative care. This place was incredible. I don’t have great dental hygiene, and haven’t been to the dentist in years because I don’t love getting lectured and talked down to like a lot of them seem to do. I am leaving this appointment feeling excited about going back. Everyone is really friendly, and they have empathy for you as a patient (kinda felt like “we know going to the dentist sucks, we just want to make it suck less”). Dr. Huser is the best dentist I have ever had. I have had a LOT of dental work done over the years. My wife and I have been coming to her for about 5 years now. She is attentive, caring, very gentle, and gives you her absolute undivided attention. She’s wise with sanitation and safety. She asks how you are feeling and if you have any concerns with your teeth or general oral hygiene, she is one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met, and she gives you a warm washcloth to clean up after your appointment is done. The office staff (one lady, Michelle) is just as friendly and is just as concerned with your experience in the office. We are moving to another part of town, and absolutely plan to drive across town to see Dr. Huser!

Dr. Rebecca Huser is such a sweet lady & a great dentist! I moved to Denver recently so I didn’t have a dentist here, and I was lucky to find Dr. Huser. I went in to get my teeth cleaned; her office is small & it seems like it is just her there with the dental assistant who also acts as a secretary & checks you in. All her equipment is really new and seemed different from what my old dentist had; she has some special thing that vibrated to help clean your teeth. I had a filling that was cracked so I just went back the next week to get that replaced. One thing I though was cute, but maybe it is common now? is that they bring a tray with a hot towel and a little mirror on it to you at the end, almost like it is a health spa. Dr. Huser is also really nice and friendly and will chat about Colorado things like tubing, so that helped to make me comfortable, too. Yay teeth.

A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR

Dr. Rebecca S. Huser is originally from the Chicagoland area. She attended Purdue University and graduated with a B.S. in Biology and completed her dental training at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2001. She then joined her father in practice in Munster, IN. Dr. Huser moved to Denver in the fall of 2006 with her husband, Chris. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Metro Denver Dental Association. She purchased Tamarac Dental Care so she could have the opportunity to spend more one-on-one time with her patients to get to know each one as an individual. Dr. Huser is committed to staying up to date with the latest techniques through continuing education so she can provide high quality service to her patients. She enjoys hiking, tennis, skiing, reading, and travelling as well as spending time with her two sons. Dr. Huser takes part in Give Kids a Smile and the 9 News Health Fair. She also has volunteered in Guatemala providing dental care to those in need with a group called Hearts in Motion.
