I am a scary cat! when it comes to the dentist. Dr. Tran has cured me of that and I will be forever in debt to her! Her office is very clean and she has flat screens for you to watch while getting your dental work done, which was a very nice touch. She knows exactly what to do to fix whatever issue you have. I LOVE her and will always refer any and everyone to her. If you are searching for a dentist your search has ENDED! she will work with you even if you have to come out of pocket! she will set up payment plans to help accommodate you and make things easier for you. I can’t believe I am saying this about going to the dentist but it was such a great experience. Very professional & thorough. Dr. Tran was very flexible with my schedule and offered Saturdays by appointment. Dr. Tammy Tran is the best dentist I have ever met. I have used her office four times – twice for cleanings and two other times for crown & veneer work. All four visits far exceeded my expectations. It is clearly apparent that Dr. Tran is very proud of her practice and gives 100% effort to ensure that each customer is satisfied. For example, my previous teeth cleaning visits to other dentists normally took about 45 minutes and the majority of time was spent with the dental assistant. My two cleaning visits to Dr. Tran took approximately 90 minutes – 30 minutes for the X-rays and a detail review and discussion with Dr. Tran, 40 minutes of scaling by Dr. Tran, and then 20 minutes of cleaning by the dental assistant. I also found her prices to be very competitive.

During my maternity leave I finally decided after 15 years to finally go and have my dental check up, insurance wasn’t the problem it was being afraid of the pain but I must say I went to dr Tammy Tran had my consultation found out I had 10 cavities and two root canals that’s needed work plus a deep cleaning, Gloria discussed my options with me as far as payment plan, and my insurance they were great with working around my busy schedule and offering me the option of care credit which really helped pay for all the additional work needed , I want to thank dr Tran for everything and not hurting me lol I now have a healthy affordable smile abs have check ups scheduled for next year to maintain my healthy smile. I recommend dr Tran and her team to anyone needed treatment she’s the best

I searched for a new dentist because I felt my current dentist was not keeping up with the times. I tried Dr. Tran, whom I found uses modern equipment, including digital xrays, head mounted optics, focused lighting, jaw spacers, and modern bonding procedures. The xray machine uses one-third the amount of radiation of previous xray machines and gives instant results. She also takes digital photos and her impressions for crowns have produced better results than my previous dentist accomplished. Her temporary crowns have all stayed in place until the permanent ones arrived, a first for me. I was pleasantly surprised at how much the technology has improved, as have the results. And results count!

Dr. Tran and her entire team improved my dental health soooo much. My mother has gotten a crown elsewhere and has scheduled four appointments to try to fix it because she is not comfortable with it. I on the other hand got a crown, and Dr. Tran got it right with only one visit. I’m so happy with everything they did for me. Due to my hectic schedule, it was very hard to schedule appointments. However, Gloria called me whenever there was a sudden opening, and that helped me tremendously. Thank you!!!!!

Dr. Tran is knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and most importantly, a compassionate doctor. After years of wearing braces, my teeth required a number of fillings, replacement of old, problematic crowns, and bad veneers. It was frustrating to have taken good care of my teeth yet still unable to have the smile that I wanted. Dr. Tran’s treatment is exceptionally beyond my expectation; not all family dentists can do cosmetic work as good as she can without costing me a fortune. Dr. Tran is naturally cautious, yet confident in her work, as she is a perfectionist. She is very conscientious in trying to save my teeth, whenever possible. The lab that she uses does beautiful work. My new smile has made me feel younger and more confident. This enables me to embark on a happier lifestyle, of which a beautiful smile and healthier teeth are the icing on the cake, something I have always dreamt about. This review is long overdue. I’ve been going to Dr. Tran for a year now. My experience with Dr. Tran and her team has been exceptional. The first time I went in to see Dr. Tran was at her old, old dental office – her new office now is super clean, chic, and modern. I went in because my tooth cracked in half. She went into details and explained to me the process without any BS and recommended her professional opinion. She made the whole dental experience a breeze (I dreaded going to the dentist). But now, I feel at ease after my services w/ Dr. Tran and her team. If you’re having second thoughts or feeling anxious about seeing the dentist. I actually made an appointment with Tammy because I thought she was a different Tammy Tran – another dentist out in Fountain Valley with a lot of great reviews. I decided to go to this Tammy anyways because she had great reviews as well. Her office is in a slightly run down strip mall, which gave me pause, but I had nothing to worry about – she’s a great dentist. She did my cleaning herself (even though she didn’t floss? Which was odd) and she was very gentle with my fillings. She did my anesthetic injections very slowly so that the injections hurt less, and they were surprisingly painless! She talked to me throughout the fillings and kept me entertained in place of the usual dentist ceiling TV.

Dr. Tran is a conscientous dentist and her service is impeccable. I had such bad experiences with a particular dental office in the past, wherein my insurance was charged until completely exhausted for multiple procedures, one actually was never done. To top it off, they were performed hastily in an effort to have as many done as possible within one day. Imagine having 4 crowns done in one sitting that last from noon to past 8 o’clock at night. These problematic crowns later were examined by another dentist to the discovery that they have gaps that would lead to decays from within the crowns in the future. It was recommended that I should bring this matter to the attention of the Dental Board. However, when I met with Dr. Tran, she recommended that I should give this dentist the second chance to correct her mistakes, which I did. This said plentiful about Dr. Tran’s characters and kindness. Dr. Tran has been instrumental in helping to correct some of these bad procedures. Therefore, I wholeheartedly recommended Dr. Tran. I praise her because after what I’ve been through, she is a breath of fresh air, making me believe once again in the existence of honesty and professionalism in the service industries. As an aware customer, I recognize that Dr. Tran is not maliciously greedy like some out there. She would never recommend to her patients any unnecessary procedures if not required. Dr. Tran informed me that she aheres to her philosophy of preventive dental care, wherein simple procedures, done upon early detection is the best way to achieve excellent dental health. At a personal level, Dr. Tran is mild in manner, soft spoken, courteous, but not without genuine caring in speech. She is beyond professional in her practice. In a world full of cash-driven calculations, Dr. Tran exemplifies professional interegrity and ethics beyond expectation.

Dr. Tran and her staff has been so accommodating since I started treatment this February. I have had some pretty bad experiences with Dentist offices in the past and I feel as though I have finally found a home! First off the staff is extremely helpful. They communicated very efficiently and always worked around my schedule through text (which is what I prefer). Gloria was able to walk me through the process of my treatment and was very patient and understanding with all the questions I had. Dr. Tran is wonderful. She takes the time to explain exactly what she is doing before she proceeds with treatment and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Her assistant even let me watch my fav show on Netflix as I was getting work done. What really stands out to me is their dedication to their patients. This past Friday my temporary crown had unexpectedly cracked and Dr. Tran was able make arrangements to come in just for me on a Saturday! With the Pandemic going on and everything being closed, I didn’t expect to be able to be seen and was really worried about my temp tooth completely falling off and setting me back for my treatment so I am EXTREMELY thankful they made an exception during this crisis. I highly recommend coming to this office if you want quality dental work, short waits, and amazing customer service!!

Dr. Tran’s new office, clean, friendly, and professional atmosphere. Had a deep cleaning by the oh so gentle hands of Dr. Tran and staff. Never in my lifetime have I felt so at ease in a Dental office when it can get pretty nerve wracking going to a dentist but they are so nice and concerned to your well being while in their care. Definitely my go to place for dental maintenance. Word of advice, instead of googling their address tap on their address in here on Yelp, google will take you to a Carson location. Overall a great experience

Dr. Tammy Tran graduated from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry in 2001 with a Dean's Award for Clinical Excellence. She went on perfecting her skills with one year of Residency in AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry and Center for Health Sciences). She has been working 10+ years in Long Beach before taking over the current practice. Dr. Tran is a Family Dentist, experienced in treating both children and adults. She believes in preventive and conservative dentistry, helping people to keep their teeth healthy for life. Affordability is foremost a priority in her practice, however, she would never consider trading good dentistry for mediocrity.
