My husband and I are new to the area and tried out Tara Griffin. She was attentive, detailed, and through which we were very happy with. After advising that we have certain dental work completed, we agreed to do it based on the quote they gave us. We always try to make the best choices we can for our health if we can afford it. After the service (and already paying what we believed to be the balance) we received a $700 bill in the mail. It turns out that they checked the wrong insurance plan and our dental work was not as covered as we had been told. Given that it was their error, we felt they should in the least reduce the total cost to us, but they refused. We are saddened because we were hoping Tara Griffin would be our new dentist for the long term but we will not be going back due to this. If financial cost is important to you, I would be weary unfortunately.

This was my first visit at Dr Griffin’s office for cleaning and checkup. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. My hygienist was thorough, compassionate, and explained what she was doing and why which I appreciated. Dr Griffin took in time to interact with me as a person, checked everything that was done by my hygienist and give me a plan of care going forward. I definitely recommend this office

I have been a patient of Dr. Griffin for the last couple of years. Coming from NJ, I was very nervous when trying to find a competent dentist that could treat my many dental issues. I visited other dentists and implant specialists but was never impressed with their services. The big score came when I was referred to Dr. Tara Griffin. She is one of the best dentists I ever met. I unfortunately have had many in my life. She has superior skills but also takes personal interest in making sure you are happy with the results. Today she replaced an old implant that went bad and put on a new crown. I’m so very happy with the results!!! Her staff is wonderful and accomodating and makes every effort to see you asap. Danielle, who works closely with Dr. Griffin is also a find! She is a wonderful compliment to Dr. Griffin and is very talented and skilled in her own right. Thank you again, Dr. Griffin and staff!

I’d give em as many stars as there are in the sky. The complete experience from walking in the door to walking back out makes you wanna come back. It just so happens I have a mouth full of broken rocks (with nerves). Dr. T and her crew are always upbeat and professional and immediately make you feel like a family member. She always gives me the biggest array of options for what I have brought to her. These ladies are all awesome with a capital !

Dr. Griffin has been my general dentist for over two years. She is professional, personable, and polite. Her staff is kind, caring, and compassionate. Everyone in the office is knowledgeable and a pleasure. While it is true her prices are certainly not the lowest in town, I will say that the level of care is well worth the money. Dr. Griffin has always offered me options from preventative care, cosmetic procedures, and referrals while never pushing me in any particular direction. She is very knowledgeable and is receptive to whatever type of care you need or want. I would recommend Dr. Griffin and her top quality staff to anyone looking for a great dentist.

I have been going to Dr Griffin for ten years and have had five star care every time. Here’s what I love about them. They are friendly and caring. The whole staff! They are all extremely competent. They are prompt and quick. They never have caused me pain – that’s a big one! They bill my insurance correctly and always give me accurate pricing details. I’ve had moderate issues, things that required fillings, repairs, and I have had them do three crowns. I have always felt confident in Dr Griffin’s diagnosis and she has always gotten it right. I don’t dread going to the dentist, in fact, I kinda look forward to getting the problem fixed and being done with it.

Ten years ago I moved to Mount Pleasant. I started seeing Dr. Griffin and staff after moving here. Two years ago we moved to Kiawah/Seabrook Island area which is an hour drive to Dr. Griffin’s office. Yes they are that good! We have a dentist within our village that I could have switched to, but I didn’t. I actually look forward to my visits. Everyone makes you feel welcome and relaxed. Dr. Griffin and her staff are simply the BEST!! In the past I hated going to the dentist and had great anxiety about going. I was recommend Dr. Griffin by a friend when I had a tooth crumble. I was able to get in that same day and the entire staff was wonderful. They did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable. Wow!! What a terrific first impression!! My family and I have been looking for a new dentist since we moved to this area. I broke a molar on Monday evening….called the next morning and was being seen before 1 pm. I clearly was NOT on the daily schedule…..but nearly 2 hours were spent by different staff, preparing for a new crown. I never once felt like I was an ‘extra’ patient that day. Great dental work AND customer service
