I can’t say enough good things about Olsen Orthodontics. The office staff is so friendly,  the check in process is incredibly easy,  and the office is clean and open and cheerful.  Dr. Olsen is so competent and you can tell he really cares about his patients.  He takes so much time to answer questions and explain everything he is doing.  My girls have both had such a positive experience with their braces so far.  His prices are fair as well.  I highly recommend Olsen Orthodontics!

Very nice office. It was very clean, up to date and professional. The staff were great. Very friendly. Dr Olsen was personable and very knowledgeable. He also was trustworthy which is very important. He has a conservative approach which is great since you won’t get services forced down on you that you may not need. I would Highly recommend Dr Olsen and his office. He didn’t recommend services at this time but did make some optional suggestions if I wanted to correct spacing and only if it bothered my daughter, which it hasn’t yet. I will be coming back since I know that my daughter will need braces in the future. I recommend highly!!!

I simply could not WAIT to write this review. Dr. Olsen is a dental phenom in his own right but, he has also managed to surround himself with an incredible staff that is caring, fun, honest, and crazy knowledgeable. Aside from the beautiful office, Dr. Olsen goes to great lengths to organize beach parties, candy drop off, and a bevy of fun activities that make getting braces feel like you are part of a mighty community.This commitment to excellence is just his ethic. He was not more expensive than other orthos in the area, as we interviewed 4 others before selecting Dr. Olsen—he was just hands down the best!!

Dr. Olsen has handled the orthodontia work for two of my sons, and we will be sending our youngest to him once he is of age. His office runs efficiently, seems to have the highest level of technology, and Dr. Olsen is super personable. Love the experience!

I have been in the field of dentistry for many years and have somewhat of a discerning “eye”. My son and I chose Dr. Olsen to treat my 13 year old grandson because of his explanation during his exam -he spoke directly to him and then to us. I am in my sixties and did not continue to wear my retainer after having orthodontics as an adult, as I should have! My front teeth had started to show some spacing and I wasn’t happy with my smile. Dr Olsen made me a spring retainer and added a bit more plastic so it could be used as a night guard which was a perfect solution for me. It took only a short time and my smile is once again lovely. I can highly recommend Dr Olsen for orthodontic care to people of all ages. He is very professional, his staff enthusiastic and the office is lovely and clean. If you are looking for an EXCELLENT (and I mean exceptionally excellent) and a GREAT bedside manner doctor in orthodontic, Dr. Taylor M. Olsen is the doctor you want.  My eldest son, Michael, had his braces done by Dr. Olsen & his teeth look fabulous. We were with Dr. Olsen for 2 years because of different phases/ process of his growing teeth. Dr. Olsen took the time to make sure his teeth & smile will have the best possible outcome – which they certainly did.  My son’s teeth came out so straight & so perfect.  Every visit with Dr. Olsen and staff was pleasant, never an attitude or a bad mood from the front desk staff.  Oscar, Dr. Olsen staff was very skilled too. I recommended Dr. Olsen to a friend who was shopping for an orthodontic for her son.  Once she met Dr. Olsen, she didn’t bother interviewing any other doctors (& she has to drive from Aliso Viejo!).  My youngest son might be needing braces soon, no doubt I wouldn’t go anywhere else but Dr. Olsen.  I rarely write reviews but I had to on this one because Dr. Olsen had given a great gift to my son -a great smile! Thank you Dr. Olsen!!

We love Dr. Olsen! The whole office is so warm and inviting.  He does amazing work and is such a laid back, nice guy! The office is clean and has the best and newest equipment! Can’t say enough great things about this team!!

I am impressed with Dr. Olsen and his staff! I have three children. Two of them just had their braces removed and the results have been amazing. But more importantly, the service provided from beginning to end was exceptional. Dr. Olsen, a board-certified orthodontist, is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. You can feel comfortable as a parent or patient to approach him with any questions or concerns. Both offices are clean and very well-maintained. I know our last child will receive  optimal care from Dr. Olsen’s team too! I highly recommended Olsen Orthodontics to everyone!

We just visited Dr. Olsen’s office and had such a great experience! Currently, my son recently began treatment from another orthodontist. That orthodontist recommended treatment that seemed extreme and drastic. We were referred to Dr. Olsen by a top dentist to get a second opinion. He spent a lot of time going over this case and gave his honest and thorough professional opinion, all with a well-explained follow-up email. I was impressed by the fact that he seems progressive and modern in his approach, rather than taking the fast track (and not always best way) to the end result. He agreed with what we were doing treatment-wise with our son and helped us sort through the options. We have another son who will need treatment and are very much considering Dr. Olsen this next time around. We didn’t go over costs since this was a consultation, but in my experience, something like dental work isn’t something to mess around with. Whatever he charges is worth it. I would not hesitate to send my child, or myself, to Dr. Olsen!

I came in to see Dr. Olsen for a second opinion and I appreciated that he was completely honest as to what options there were for me and whether or not they would produce the results necessary to help me with my gum recession. He was very patient with all my questions and took the time to answer each one by using video illustrations and pictures to help me best understand the answers. His staff was very kind and professional. The thing that really stood out to me was the fact that they didn’t charge me for this consultation in which he spent so much time answering all my questions and examining my recession. I was pleasantly surprised and very grateful.

I was pretty bummed out about having to get braces again as an adult, but I decided to go for it and get Invisalign. I’m still in the midst of the shifting and straightening, but I could not have asked for a better experience! The office has video games (for bored siblings, or in my case, if I ever have my hubby tag along for an appointment) and they usually have cookies out (they look delicious, but I always resist them). Not a bad egg in the bunch, everyone there is delightful and helpful. Clean office, friendly people, straight teeth… what more could you ask for? 🙂

All three of my children see Dr. Olsen in one capacity or another. Most recently my oldest got his braces off and couldn’t be happier. His experience with Dr. Olsen was easy and mostly pain free (the initial shifting of teeth can be a real pain) but time flew by and he now has a beautiful smile. Wait time…what wait time. We are there for just a few moments before being seated for Ray or Dr. Olsen. Chris, Ally and Ray are all top notch. If you’re there for an afternoon appointment there is always a cookie you can grab on your way out. I’m very happy with the treatment my children receive from Dr. Olsen and his staff and recommend him to all my friends.

Dr. Olsen and his staff are amazing. The office is comfortable and professional. My sons teeth are beautiful and Dr. Olsen’s patience in getting us through the process was much appreciated, as my son seemed to have trouble keeping his brackets in place! As much as I want to say how happy I am that we are on the other side of this, I am also very sad that we wont get to see them all the time! Its like a family and they all make you feel so very welcome!

Thank you for the excellent service. Dr. Olsen and his team are very responsive and provide the absolute highest level of customer care. My 16 year old daughter just got her braces off after being a patient of Dr. Olsen’s for over two years. She has a beautiful smile and he did a great job. He is somewhat of a perfectionist — my daughter was dying to get them off but she needed a few more weeks and tweaks to get it just right. And it was worth it. Her bite and smile look great. My 2nd daughter (13 yrs old) will be in next week to get braces from Dr. Olsen so obviously we highly recommend him. We went to get a 2nd opinion at another local orthodontist for the same procedure. It was almost $1,000 HIGHER in cost. We also received a $200 sibling discount in addition to this savings. Also, this other office didn’t take 1/2 as much time with her as Dr. Olsen’s office did — They could have spent less time knowing we were already current patients but it was my 2nd daughter’s first time and he understood that she needed to have all her questions answered even if I already knew the answers. The other office also charged $60 for this consultation – Dr. Olsen’s was free. Dr. Olsen’s office is readily available for broken brackets or problems that occur and is open to walk-ins when this happens. All issues are included in the overall cost. Payment plans are interest-free and flexible, easily set-up according to your situation/needs. I have two younger children who also have orthodontic issues so we will probably be visiting Dr. Olsen for years to come

We can’t say enough good things about Dr. Olsen and his staff. They are all so knowledgeable and welcoming, it gives you 100% confidence in their treatment plan. My young boys love coming for their check ups and adjustments. Dr. Olsen always has time to explain and show the boys what is going to happen with their treatments using great graphics as a learning tool. Whenever anyone asks me for a referral for orthodontics, I tell them Olsen Ortho! They are the best!

We love Dr. Olsen!! I have had 4 children in braces and/or treated by him and his team. Our experience with them has been wonderful. We started with a different orthodontist in San Clemente and we were not impressed. Dr. Olsen always made himself available for emergencies. He finished when he said he would. He answered our questions and really cares about his patients and their families. We will be sending additional children to him for sure!! Dr. Olsen and his staff are so friendly to work with. This orthodontist and his team are top notch!! I could not recommend them more.

I am a serious consumer of orthodontic services. Six kids have been run through the gauntlet, and now me. There is a big difference in our experience with three different orthodontists. Dr. Olsen and his team are far superior in the care they provide. They are competent, caring, cheerful and they never waste your time. It feels like a family. You look forward to your appointments, not just because it gets you closer to your best possible smile, but also to be with people who are happy to see you and encourage you along. No worries, you will be satisfied with your experience with Dr. Olsen and his team.

The office staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and the office environment is super fun! My kids actually wish their waiting time was longer because of they can play video games while they wait or look at all the fun before and afters on the photo wall. It’s such a welcoming and fun place for them to go! I really appreciated the different treatment and financial options that were given and trust Dr. Olsen’s professional opinion and his staff to help my kids get the best orthodontic results possible … now if I could just remember to turn that expander more often!

THE best!!! Caring, timely, precise and everything you want in an orthodontist. Three out of seven people in my family have been to Dr. Olsen…. and more will be walking through his door. Highly recommend!

We have had all three of our kids in orthodontia with Dr. Olsen. He is amazing and such a natural at communicating with his kid patients (in a cool way!) He’s also so kind and informative when talking to us parents. Currently, Dr. Olsen is treating our daughter with a complex orthodontic situation that involves three doctors. The options have been very confusing to us laymen/parents and he took the time to write the most comprehensive email outlining our options and all the pros and cons of each. We know our daughter is in great hands with Dr. Olsen as we embark upon this somewhat traumatic tooth situation. We have nothing but the highest compliments for Dr. Olsen and his staff and would recommend them 100%!

This is an office I actually enjoy visiting even if it is to have my teeth “adjusted”.  Dr Olsen is always upbeat and he and his wonderful staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home.  After wearing braces twice when I was young without success due to incompetence of the orthodontist, Dr Olsen aligned my teeth properly and made the experience a positive one.  Dr Olsen was highly recommended to me by my dentist and I will recommend him to anyone contemplating getting braces or envisalgn.  He makes the process easy and more importantly, he knows what he’s doing.

I wore braces twice, one  when i was 10,  and another when i was 15 yrs, then i stop wearing retainers at 28, and my teeth went back to crooked. I was told by 2 orthodontist that the only way to to fix my teeth was through regular braces, but i was over 40 and that wasen’t an option…Dr Olsen was open minded and willing to work with me using invisalign (previous doctor got mad at me for insisting that it should work). It has been over 1 year and a half and my teeth are looking near perfect! Dr Olsen is patient, smart and cares about his clients. He also has the itero machine (no more disgusting goop!). Highly recomended!

My son and I needed new retainers (mine was broken and his was lost). We had just moved to the area and needed to find a new orthodontist. Luckily for us, some friends recommended Dr. Olsen. Dr. Olsen and his staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome in his beautiful office (my son loved the arcade games in the waiting room). Our new retainers fit perfectly and they were made in a very timely fashion at a very fair price. I definitely recommend Olsen Orthodontics!!
