I had a great experience as a new patient and will certainly be back. Dr. Gibbs was very thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. The staff was also excellent and especially helpful when it came to tracking down my dental records from the previous dentist. I highly recommend Terrace Oaks Dental for anyone in the Tampa area.

I needed to find a new dentist after having a cracked tooth and I am so happy I was recommended this office. Everyone is so welcoming the moment you walk in. Jessica does an amazing job every time I see her and she really knows how to calm down the anxiety of the dreaded cleaning visits. Dr. Gibbs did an great job for a root canal I needed along with helping me successfully get through my invisalign treatment.

Dr . Patrick Gibbs-DMD, shows qualities of a great dentist.He and his staff have a welcoming atmosphere. You are never rushed or uncomfortable staff is friendly and helpful. He educates patients on dental care and suggested treatment plan . He makes every effort to minimize pain and discomfort and believes in patients involvement of treatment and has a calming personality that helps patients relax during treatment. Dr. Gibbs and his practice are the very embodiment of what one wants to see out of their dentist. Kind and carrying, yet on the forefront of technological advancements and the latest that the field of dentistry has to offer. One cannot expect to find a better dentist. I recently had a rather severe root canal worked on there, and to my surprise IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PAINLESS. Dr. Gibbs has the hands if a surgeon yet balances that out with a calm and relaxed persona that leaves the patient at ease. I know I (and most likely everyone else) don’t look forward to going to the dentist, but at Terrace Oaks Dental you will never have to dred the trip again. His staff makes you remarkably comfortable from the second you walk in for the first time, and they take every opportunity from there on out to take care of you like a longtime friend or family member. BEST DENTIST I HAVE EVER HAD. PERIOD.

Terrace Oaks Dental has a phenomenal team! Dr. Gibbs ensures that my dental needs are addressed in a timely manner. Hygienist Ellie, who never fails to put a smile on my face, is always very friendly and makes me feel comfortable at every visit. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a dental office with a caring and professional atmosphere.

Dr. Gibbs is by far one of the best dentists in the area. I’ve been a patient of his ever since he started practicing in the Tampa Bay Area over five years ago. Dr. Gibbs’ thorough knowledge of dentistry & honesty are the qualities that has kept me as a satisfied patient all these years. The friendly and accommodating staff at Terrace Oaks Dental makes me feel right at home & the front desk are ever so helpful with setting up appointments that fit around my schedule.

I dread the dentist. I am a rational, sane person who has lost her mind when it comes to going to the dentist. It’s been more than 10 years since I’ve been. (I know – eww.) But a few bad experiences left me totally traumatized and it’s been an exercise in zen getting me back in a chair. (Xanax helps, too, but I digress.) But I’m in my 30’s now, a homeowner, and figured it was time to put on my big girl panties and take care of my mouth. So I Googled. I found Dr. Gibbs online and liked the sound of “non-invasive” techniques and a more holistic approach. I read the reviews here, and made the appointment. I almost cancelled it 3 times. But today, I had the most pleasant experience at the dentist I have ever had. I arrived 15 minutes early but they took me in immediately. The staff kept me waiting no longer than 3 minutes at any given interval, and that included Dr. Gibbs. In private rooms rather than wide open embarrassing spaces, I was educated, but not shamed, about the condition of my mouth. (Turns out, I’m kind of a wunderkind toothbrusher who has no cavities.) And, with no pressure whatsoever, I was told my options and provided with the costs given my insurance. I was in the chair for about 1.5 hours altogether and enjoyed virtually every minute of it, especially meeting the very kind staff. Angie who’s at the front desk remembered things about me from when I booked the appointment – 3 months ago! Ruthie was my intake specialist and x-ray tech and she was fast and super sweet. Danielle was my hygienist and was a dear – loaded me up with numbing gel and didn’t torture me even a little. And Dr. Gibbs was a kind, smart, and no-BS kind of guy. He earned my trust in a matter of minutes – and I’m a tough sell. He limited my expenses and suggested the least invasive approach as a first step. He even checked on me after the cleaning to see how I felt. I have a follow up in 4 months, and (can’t believe I’m typing this) I’m actually looking forward to it. Thanks to everyone at Terrace Oaks! I never write reviews (check my history on here..) .. but I am THAT impressed with Dr. Gibbs and his staff that I had to go ahead and write one. I’ve had horrible experiences like most with dentists.. ones that are just condescending.. not friendly… not gentle.. trying to sell things.. etc etc etc! Dr. Gibbs and his staff were very welcoming and ‘real’. Not like the pushy dentists I’m used to! They made me feel relaxed and talked me through every concern I had (about my own teeth). I’m actually not afraid of going back hahah ! Looking forward to it! Thank you for making this experience a PLEASANT one! Go figure.. A pleasant dental trip! 😉 Highly Recommended!

Had a great experience! I was initially referred to this office by a friend for a second opinion because I was uncomfortable at another dental office when they tried to “sell” me Invisalign and said I had multiple cavities that needed fillings. After consultation with Dr. Gibbs, I was extremely shocked to find out that no such cavities existed! There are a lot of shady dentist out there trying to scam their patient’s money. I’m lucky enough to find Dr. Gibbs, a dentist that I can trust for all my dental needs. He is straight forward, has a great staff support, and his office hours are very accommodating for busy individuals such as myself. Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this office.

I finally found an excellent dentist team! I felt very welcome from beginning to end. I didn’t have to wait long for my services. I went to another dentist who was offering me services I didn’t need. When asked Dr. Gibbs about those services, he provided me with his honest opinion and probably saved me a couple of hundreds of dollars. The hygienist (I forgot her name, sorry!) was very caring, even offered me lavender essential oil for a relaxing environment. What a great way to go above and beyond your patients!

This is a dental practice that cares for people. The interaction with the receptionist is always professional and friendly. You are treated as if you are family. The hygienist is amazing. She took her time during my cleaning which let me know she takes pride in her work. Dr. Gibbs is a wonderful and trustworthy dentist. His chair side manner is unbelievable. I was initially embarrassed to have him look inside my mouth. Two other dentists in the same area made calloused remarks during quick encounters because they were too busy. They then turn to their assistants to speak about costs and leave without saying goodbye or giving a handshake. My feelings of embarrassment were removed immediately with Dr. Gibbs. He took time in explaining the procedures I required and answered, in full, all questions I had. He did not look at my teeth with a look of disgust. He looked at me for who I am, a human being with flawed teeth in need of repair. He treated me with dignity. Dr. Gibbs addresses concerns with forthright answers and I observed the way he interacted with his staff and knew he was a gem. In a time where finding a dentist who genuinely puts patient care above financial gain is sorely lacking, I am confident and happy to say that I have found one. The billing representative is on point with her work and knowledge of insurances. She stated that after five years of working with Dr. Gibbs, she would work with him forever. This is how you know you’ve found a great dental office. I am grateful for the entire staff and look forward to our continued relationship.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gibbs for about 6 years now and the service has been nothing but spectacular! The quality of care paired with the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff makes the trip to the dentist very pleasant. Dr. Gibbs put in a crown for me, and I did not experience any difficulties or complications. Regular visits for cleaning at the dentist are timely and efficient, and you leave with the feeling of very clean teeth. The rest of the staff along with Dr. Gibbs are always smiling and friendly. I had been through multiple dentists in the Tampa Bay area before finding this gem of a dentist’s office, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend Temple Terrace Dentist to everyone, whether it’s just for a routine cleaning, or even a more advanced procedure.

This was my first time visiting this office and I had an amazing experience. My first impressions were that the staff was great and office was very clean with the latest equipment. My appointment was with Dr. Gibbs but I met with the staff before to go over everything. They were very thorough and explained what would be done. They were also very friendly, polite and made my visit very comfortable. When I met with Dr Gibbs and discussed the pain I had been feeling over the last month, he began a very detailed examination. He gave me a couple x-rays and diagnosed my pain as a tooth fracture. I was shown pictures of the fracture and we began to go over my options. I do not have a regular dentist in Tampa but I will be going back there for any future work that I need done. I highly recommend Dr. Gibbs and his office to anyone who is needing assistance with any dental issues or concerns. Andrew

Very nice. Did not feel rushed. Dr Gibbs took the time to explain everything & understands that I have not won the lotto & cannot fix everything right now. His staff was even very patient and nice on the phone the next day when I called back with a few more questions (because of changes in insurance). There are even some after work days which helps. In one visit-fantastic. only draw back (which is every dental office in the world!)-the hygienist is booked far out.

Dr. Patrick Gibbs is awesome! He is patience, professional, a perfectionist with a wonderful bedside manner. His Dental Hygienist is one of the best I’ve had in the past 20 years. The office staff is very accommodating, and cheerful. I highly recommend Terrace Oaks Dental to anyone looking for one of the best dentist and the best dental office in town.

Yes this dentist and his staff are as good as it gets. Over the years I developed a fear of the dentist, but no more. I actually look forward to going now. Dr Gibbs is straight forward and down to earth. There is a calm and friendly feel to the office. I got a deep cleaning with Ellie that was nothing short of amazing. She was kind, caring and thorough. She explained exactly what was going to happen and why. She gave me tips on proper brushing that I had never been told in all my 54 years. If you have been putting off going, don’t delay and call today.

Dr Gibbs, his assistants and the front office staff are absolutely wonderful. I’m always seen at the time my appointment is scheduled and the procedures are professional and painless. This was my first visit following an unpleasant experience at another dentist and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Dr Gibbs staff took a full set of x-rays and I walked in knowing I needed 2 crowns. Dr Gibbs was great! I felt almost nothing when he administered the anesthesia and the work he did on my teeth was amazing. Additionally, his prices are extremely fair. I will definitely continue with Dr. Gibbs

First, let me explain the way is office is run. Simply, smooth and efficient. Nothing else has to be said or desired. I’ve never had to wait much past my appointment time and it makes the greatest impression on me when a business respects my time. The facilities are clean and staff is friendly, personable without sacrificing any professionalism. Second, I’m not, being constantly being sold on cosmetic surgery that I may or may not need. Suggestions are made and it’s left at that. Past dentist offices have had drills in my mouth, selling me on supposed life saving upgrades and expect me to sign papers before I leave the office, when all that I initially showed up for was a teeth cleaning. Third is Ruthie. She works directly under Dr. Gibbs and makes all follow up phone calls herself, with the warmest of concerns. Little things like this matter when making a patient feel as if he just isn’t cattle being herded in and out of the door. Finally, there is Doctor Gibbs himself. Great chair side manner and always delivers on the game plan he lays out for you before he starts working on you. If any unforeseen complications come up, he fixes it without hesitation and professionalism. I get the idea that when something doesn’t go right in a day, it bothers him when he goes home and wakes up with an undeniable intent to fix it. He’s good and I don’t want anybody else supervising my dental health. If you don’t have a dentist, I recommend him. If your not happy with your dentist, I recommend you give Dr. Gibbs a try. If you like your dentist, I recommend you still give Dr. Gibbs a try, because you’ll like him better.

Dr. Gibbs is an amazing dentist and he always understand the problem of his customers. He has been following me since 2015 and since then he has always been impeccable from any point of view. He always keep in consideration what I have to say every time I go. I, as a professional musician, have certain needs – due to playing for several hours every day around 6-8 I needed a solution that would have helped me to relieve stress from my jaw and avoiding biting more and more while getting tired – because of that some of my teeth changed position, they started not being in line. Dr. Gibbs was able to make a cover for my bottom teeth made of indestructible soft rubber that I had to wear while playing -thick enough to relieve almost totally the stress I kept feeling before, very comfortable feeling and color clear. Just recently, exactly two months ago, we discussed about trying to align my teeth. Best solution was having Invisalign and not bracers(that are too painful to play with). So the transition from soft rubber to plastic wasn’t that much . In September after having started wearing Invisalign Dr. Gibbs follows me carefully through the process and I am very satisfied already with the results achieved . If you are around the Tampa area- don’t miss him, just go there ! I fly to Tampa (from Chicago) every 8 weeks ! I’d recommend to anyone to go to the Terrance Oaks Dental .

Dr. Gibbs and his staff are truly exceptional. I’ve never had a better experience at any other dental office. They make you feel welcome and take care of you in a timely matter; I’ve never waited more than 5 or so minutes in the waiting room. They remember who you are, things you’ve talked about, and just generally do amazing work. I had a lot of major problems, but they made me feel comfortable and calmed my nerves. (I’m normally terrified of the dentist.) Dr. Gibbs assured me that we would take it step by step and that I would be taken care of. I can gladly say he was so right! I am pain free and now only working on minor issues. Another major thing I’ve noticed is that I’ve never heard a single member of the staff say anything negative. I’ve been to a number of offices where the staff talks to you like you are incompetent on the phone, or makes snide remarks about patients after they leave or hang up. Not here! They are not only respectful, but caring too. I would recommend Dr. Gibbs to EVERYONE!

First I read reviews online. Recently moved to the area, and needed to find a new dentist. They had a lot of incredible reviews. They were all confirmed. From making my first appointment, confirming on the phone, and then walking in I felt welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Gibbs was great and his staff was awesome. Looking forward to going back for cleanings and the work I need done. Didn’t feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. They are awesome and I highly recommend.

I haven’t seen a dentist in a long time and was very apprehensive about going, however I was highly recommended to Dr. Gibbs. Upon meeting Dr Gibbs and his staffs, I became very at ease and really enjoyed my visit– at a dental office, no less! Shari, the hygienist did an amazingly thorough cleaning on me; tough I was sore since I gotten a deeper cleaning, she made sure I was comfortable and numbed me up really well! Terrace Oaks Dental is a gem around the areas, and an honest dentist is not an easy find nowadays. Highly recommend all my friends and families, as they really DO treat you as a family!
