As a new patient in pain, It was thrilling to receive an immediate appointment. The staff is kind and helpful. Dr. Chen is very patient and spent extra time explaining my options. I feel so fortunate to have found him. After my appointment something happened that he had to be called to the phone with questions about my case. He was so kind and caring. He ordered an antibiotic for me and scheduled another time to see me right away. This is a great dentist with a wonderful staff.

My wife, two adult children and I have been coming to see Dr. Chen for over 25 years. He, hygienists, staff and Mamie are friendly, professional and accommodating. He very knowledgeable and professional. He makes you feel relaxed and at ease as he looks into your dental care? My family and I travel for over an hour to come twice a year for our cleaning and other dental work, as needed. Dr. Chen is by far the ‘BEST’ dentist in Southern California! If you are looking for a great dentist, he is the one. I don’t  write many reviews, but I wanted to post this one. I highly recommend his office and will make you feel VIP. We are happy to hear that his son, Scott, (also a dentist), is joining his practice. A+

I have been coming to Dr. Chen for over 20 years. I have moved far from Glendale, but still make the over an hour trip twice a year to visit Dr. Chen and his wonderful staff. I love that both Dr. Chens are honest and conservative in their take on dentistry. What I mean by that, is they observe the potential issues going on with my teeth and I never feel like a treatment is being done unnecessarily. Some dentists will tell you, you need x y and z done when you don’t, and rip you off. This is not the case at this dental office. The hygienists are awesome. I love Ada and Larissa. They always take their time, are thorough, and leave my teeth extremely clean. My favorite person at this office, however is Mamie. Mamie is always friendly, kind and pleasant to deal with. She understands I travel far, and always does her best to accommodate my schedule. I really appreciate she makes that extra effort for me. Come to this dental office. You won’t regret it!

I’ve been going here since I was 5 or 6 and my parents had been coming for years before that based on someone elses recommendation.  Even when I moved to Orange County, I continued to trek to Dr. Chens dentistry after multiple uncomfortable visits with other dentists. Their hygienists have these amazing tricks to make X-rays amazingly comfortable and don’t do those awkward conversations most people try to start. After 20 years of entrusting my teeth to Dr. Chen, I felt it was time to get a review out. Their staff never forgets a patients face, name, and even their pets. Two Molars Way Up! Try him out and you’ll never go anywhere else again.

After an awful experience at a kid’s dental place I decided to look for another office near my area. Other reviewers mentioned how well their children responded here so I decided to give it a try. I give them 5 stars for their customer service, flexibility, and dental techniques. Mimi, the receptionist, was able to give me a same day appointment for my daughter on a Saturday! We only waited about 10-15 minutes in the waiting room before they called us in. Let me say that Dr. Rosana Chen is awesome!!! My 5 year old daughter went in for a baby tooth extraction and she explained what she was doing step by step. She took the time to make my daughter feel comfortable. My daughter loved it there so much that she even says she wants to be a Dentist when she grows up. After the appointment Mimi took my daughter the toy bin to pick out a small toy. My daughter looks forward to seeing the dentist every 6 months now. My husband and I were so happy with the service provided here that we also switched to this dental office. I recommend this office for both adults and children.

I had a crown fall out on Superbowl weekend. My dentist office was open but refused to see me (Cunning Dental in Mount Clair) even though there was a Dr. in the office. They also could not refer me to another office so I went on Yelp. Looked for a dentist open on Saturdays. I called a few but once I spoke to the office manager, Mamie this was the place for me. I explained my situation and even though this was a half day for the office and completely booked, They squeezed me in. She said there would be a bit of a wait but when I arrived and completed the paper work, I was taken right in. The dental assistant Mari was friendly and had me cracking up. The dentist, Dr R. Chen (A female dentist) was amazing. She was gentle and thorough and I think I found my new dentist. The location is deceiving. It looks like a hole in the wall and next to a cigar shop. The waiting area is small but its clean and once you enter the exam area is spacious and modern. I have never known a female dentist and I’m glad I found this place 🙂
