I’ve been seeing Dr. Dalis for years. I’ve always been treated well and the staff has always been friendly and kind. I have great respect for Dr. Dalis and I think he does great work, he has a sense of humor that puts you at ease, a great chairside manner, and I’ve always been happy. He also stands behind his work and makes sure you’re satisfied. I’ve been to many dentists over the years as I’ve lived all over the country. As far as I’m concerned he and his staff are the best. I now drive from Bakersfield to Torrance just because I think he’s that good and I trust him.

Dr. Dalis is amazing dentists that have been treating both my daughter and I for years. Dr. Dalis is gentle, caring, and attentive to the kids. I Have known Dr. Dalis for about a year now, a friend referred me to him. Wow what a difference from the previous Dentist I was using. Dr. Dalis and his staff go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and well informed before they begin. The equipment they use is state of the art. What impressed me the most is the fact that they put your X-rays on a computer screen that is networked throughout the facility so that the Dentist or Hygienist can access the X-ray and use it to know where to concentrate cleaning or use the X-ray as a tool to explain the issues with your teeth as well as treatment options. Dr. Dalis did not rush me through he took the necessary time to ensure that I knew everything I needed to know. I am so glad that I am a patient of Dr. Dalis.

By far the best dentist office I’ve ever been in my whole life. The staff is so professional and efficient. They don’t mess around. I couldn’t be happier taking my entire family there. Great atmosphere and positive people there. I definitely recommend them if you have kids. Glad to finally found a place that I feel safe and now I’m getting the best treatment possible. I’ve been coming to Dr. Dalis (and the pediatric dentist, Dr. Thanos) for many, many years. The staff here is awesome, from Marsha at the reception desk to the hygienists that are friendly, professional, and work throughly to keep your teeth clean. They take many different dental insurances (including Delta PPO, call to confirm what is current) – as well as offering a courtesy discount for customers like myself who pay Cash/Credit Card, without health insurance. I do not shop around for my dental care purely on price. Considering that the facility has clean and sterile instruments, up to date digital imagery x-rays and flat screen displays in the cleaning rooms where the dentist can show you in detail where your issues are, I feel they provide a good value. Usually I schedule appointments for every 4 months, if you do it after your current appointment they will send you a reminder post card you can fill out a few weeks out and usually a phone call as well a few days prior – less of a chance for me with my busy schedule to forget about the upcoming appointment. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Dalis’ office and I plan on returning in the future.

For over 30 years, our dental office has been providing quality care and service in the South Bay area for patients of all ages. With a pediatric dentist, a general dentist, and a hygiene team on site five days a week, you and your family can be sure you are receiving the best care. We are equipped to handle a variety of patient needs as well that can be hard to find. Our pediatric dentist is experienced in working with children with special needs to provide care in a way that is best suited for their situation and we are able to offer full sedation dentistry services at our location. We also offer cosmetic services, full or partial dentures, and several filling options. Dr. Thanos was born in Athens, Greece. His first visit to the United States was in 1964 when he was invited as an American Field Service Exchange Student. He went on to attend Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as a Fulbright Scholar, one of the highest academic honors a student can earn. In 1971, Dr. Thanos received his dental degree from the University of Athens, Greece. For the next two years he continued advanced studies at the University of London, England where he specialized in pediatric dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital. In 1973, Dr. Thanos was a postdoctoral scholar at the UCLA School of Dentistry where he furthered his studies in biomaterials science and pediatric dentistry. He completed his fellowship and received certificates in both pediatric dentistry and cranio-facial genetics at UCLA Harbor Hospital. In 1977, Dr. Thanos joined the faculty of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He served as a chairman of the department of Advanced Pediatric Dentistry from 1979 to 1985. During that period, he initiated the Specialized Clinic of Esthetic Dentistry where he served as director until 1992. Dr. Thanos is not only a gifted dentist, he is also a respected scientist in his field and has published numerous research monographs. He is considered a pioneer in the field of esthetic dentistry. He has been participating in the Torrance community for over thirty years.
