I always hated the dentist and as I got older my teeth showed it. I made appt to see De Segal and decided to give me top dentures & replace my lower bridge. I was very nervous the day of the procedure and his staff was so nice and trying to calm me down. Bonnie who is Dr Segal’s assistant was so awesome while he was working on my teeth. I had no pain at all during the procedure and when Bonnie gave me the mirror to look at my new teeth I started to cry. I was so happy. I can’t stop smiling. Bonnie & Dr Segal are amazing!!! The staff is great. Don’t hesitate to make appt it could change your life!!!

This past fall 2018, I decided to go ahead with something that I had been thinking about since January 2017. That was to get Eight Veneers on my top front teeth. This was a very delicate matter as it concerned my entire smile. It’s what people recognize the most as initial impressions of a person. Not only was I concerned about the way they would look but the pain, which I thought came along with the procedure. All of which were things that gave me a bit of fear about going through the process. So I began interviewing several dentist and looked no further when it came to Dr. Segal. He came highly recommended from a good friend of mine and she happened to have worked with Dr. Segal for many years prior. I want to also add that he is a cosmetic dentist, which is something very important when it comes to how your teeth look aesthetically after the procedure. During the consultation Dr. Segal was very patient and understanding that this meant a great deal to me. He took time to answer all my questions and put all my concerns at ease, for the first time I felt comfortable with the idea of going through with completing the eight veneers. Throughout that first consultation he evaluated the status of my current teeth and the work that needed to be done. We took some x-rays and he made sure that the whole appointment was seamless so that I didn’t have come back multiple times for mold impressions. His nursing staff was wonderful to work with in terms of handling my insurance and all my follow up appointments. Therefore, I came back for my two follow up visits to begin the work on my eight veneers. Dr. Segal did everything to ensure that I was comfortable during my first visit, which was the most challenging for me as this is where the majority of the work was accomplished. Dr. Segal made sure that while he worked I was very comfortable in terms of numbing me and his nursing staff even made sure I had a blanket in case I got cold. Once that first visit was complete he placed temporary’s on my prepped real teeth in order to protect them while the lab worked on my actual veneer creation for roughly two weeks. It was a small struggle dealing with the temporary teeth for two weeks, but I made it. The team at The Art of Smile Dental made sure to have the lab get my veneers back ahead of schedule too. I had a weeding to attend to, which they were able to make the two week timeframe even shorter with their lab. Finally, the day came for my second visit with Dr. Segal. This was the quickest appointment of them all. My teeth weren’t very sensitive and he was able to apply the veneers without Novocain. Within 20 mins I had my new teeth on. The color was fantastic and they matched the whites of my eyes and made my whole face brighter. I couldn’t have been more content with the work Dr. Segal did! Not only with the preparation of molding my real teeth so that the veneers fit perfectly, but also the color. It can be worrisome trusting a doctor blindly, but I could tell Dr. Segal really knows his stuff. Dr. Segal knew the exact color that would demonstrate the brilliance of the veneers in the most natural manner so they didn’t look like fake teeth. It has now been two months since I have had these veneers, also the timeframe Dr. Segal mentioned that it would take my mouth to assimilate to the new structures. These Veneers are fantastic! I can eat all the normal foods I enjoy, such as semolina Italian deli sandwiches with crunchy bread. I have also had so many wonderful compliments from colleagues at work, everyone has really noticed a significant improvement in my smile. In terms of maintenance, you just make sure to brush your teeth twice a day and do the appropriate amount of flossing. This has really made a significant boost in my confidence and I can’t stop smiling. You can put all your fears aside, Dr. Segal has your best interest in hand.

I have been getting my teeth cleaned by Dr. Segal for years now and I live in New York.  I have never had a dentist be as thorough as the staff that work with Dr. Segal and he always takes the time to explain the process, make sure he comprehensively covers all issues I could have, and gives me all the options available without pressuring me to make any decisions.  I hope to stay with him for as long as he’s in the business!

I would recommend Dr. Segal and his staff to anyone. I found them via Google search by chance and it turned out to be such a blessing. This office is ultra modern and the staff is very friendly. They are all top of the line professionals, with superb workmanship, artistry and state of the art equipment. I have had poor teeth for years, and have had many dentists. None of which, have been better than Dr. Segal. He is very quick but precise, and has transformed all of my ugly teeth into a beautiful smile. I am completely satisfied. Thank you for giving me my smile back!

I was very nervous about my first time seeing a dentist in almost 10 years, but the art of Smile was the best experience! Very through cleaning, extremely friendly staff, fast turn around time too for all the work that needed to be done. The staff was informative while i was being worked on and made me feel comfortable about having poor dental care for as long as I did. Feeling judgment free was very pleasant, as I’ve grown self conscious about my detail situation. 4 days after the visit and I am still so very pleased with my experience there, that I am actually looking forward to my next appointment!

Dr Segal is a great dentist who is straightforward and honest. He gives you the facts but doesn’t try to oversell services you don’t need. I also love the hygienists and staff in the office. I’ve never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for my appointment and everyone is very friendly and takes the time to show that they care about your health. As the previous reviewer stated they recently moved here and the new facilities are just perfect. Highly recommended!

Dr. Segal and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I had to have major work done on my upper teeth and he did it quickly and very very well. I recommend him to everyone I talk to, I can smile again and it feels incredible. I wish there were more than 5 stars because they deserve it. Also the staff is super helpful and friendly.
