I have to say that my teeth are something I value very much and I have had some insecurities when it comes to my teeth. I went to a dentist who I had been seeing for years for a consultation about fixing some gaps I had. That dentist recommended putting crowns on my 4 front teeth. I decided to do my research and go to another dentist for a second opinion and came across Dr. Shapiro and The Center for Cosmetic Dentistry. Thank goodness I did my research and went for a consultation with Dr. Shapiro. Not only was I educated by Dr. Shapiro about how damaging it would have been to put crowns on my 4 front teeth, but I was also greeted with kindness and genuine care by him. Dr. Shapiro truly listened to my concerns and made me feel very comfortable about discussing what my options were. I consider Dr. Shapiro’s work to be like an art. He bonded my teeth to close the gaps and my teeth look extremely natural. I could not be happier with my cosmetic results, as well as other dental work he has done for me since, such as fillings. I cannot recommend Dr. Shapiro enough. He cares about your happiness and wants what is absolutely best for you.

About 3 years ago I was searching for a cosmetic dentist to fix my bonded discolored front tooth. I visited a few dental offices before I met with Dr Shapiro. I was pleased just walking into his welcoming office to a warm, smiling receptionist who introduced herself as Dawn. We went over some paper work, she had taken most of my info over the phone when I made the appointment. Only a few minutes passed when a very pleasant Dr Shapiro came out and introduced himself. As we sat in his office and spoke about what brought me in that day, I felt as though I was speaking to an old friend. Dr Shapiro was so nice and genuinely concerned about my dental needs. He suggested his ideas to give me a youthful, healthy smile again and I am beyond thrilled that we went ahead with his plan. We started with his friendly dental assistant doing X-rays and giving me the best and most thorough cleaning I’ve ever had. As I was cavity free, Dr Shapiro went to work…he proceeded to not only fix my one front tooth but to work on giving me the smile of my youth. Over these past 3 years I’ve gone back to his office quite a few times for other work and cleanings and I actually look forward to my appointments. Who can say that about their dentist? I had suffered with TMJ and the pain was there all the time. I had tried other dentists and finding someone to treat TMJ was a dead end. I asked my primary care doctor and he advised me to try Dr Shapiro. He took his time and didn’t push me into anything. He made me a bite plate . The day I got it I was in pain so I put it in when I got in the car. By the time I got home my pain was gone. I sleep with it now . Occasionally when I have pain I pop it in and the pain goes away. It had been over a month now and I am doing great. My advice is if you have TMJ and are about to give up give Dr Shapiro a chance.. Have faith; I did and am pain free. Thank you Doctor Shapiro!

He fixed my teeth for my wedding a couple of years ago. My smile was so beautiful thanks to him! After many consultations with other cosmetic dentists all saying I needed veneers to fix gaps in my teeth unless I wanted to look like a horse, I was ready to give up on fixing my gaps as I did not want to deal with all the downsides that come with veneers. I found Dr. Shapiro and was impressed with his results on other similar teeth to mine that he has bonded. I decided to have them bonded and am more than impressed with the results, its been over a year and they still look just as good as they day they were bonded, definitely don’t resemble horse teeth like every other dentist told me they would with bonding. Dr. Shapiro is a very trustworthy dentist. I was unhappy with bonding on my front 6 teeth for years. Rather than provide a treatment plan without first seeing my teeth he recommended removing the bonding. He did an amazing job removing the bonding and now I am thrilled with my own teeth! Dr. Shapiro and his staff are top rate And not to mention Dr. Shapiro is a wonderful human being who cares for his patients I went to a few other dentists before I saw Dr. Shapiro and they all wanted to do the most extreme procedures instead of finding the root cause to my problems and correcting them I had a tight bite and kept grinding my teeth to where my front teeth were wearing away and I should have done something about it a long time ago Being an experienced dentist Dr. Shapiro new exactly what to do and the best course to take He had me use Invisalign to correct my bite and mind you I had never heard of Invisalign and luckily I followed his instructions to the tee and over the next couple of months I noticed an improvement to where I wasn’t grinding my front teeth Next Dr. Shapiro recommend that I bond my teeth because I wore away a lot of my teeth and being more financially reasonable option I agreed and the end result was pretty amazing It feels like and looks likes my original teeth and we didn’t have to grind them down like what would happen with other options I am pleased and got lucky I used Dr. Shapiro and I am very grateful to have my smile back
