Best dental office I’ve ever visited, dentists and staff are very professional, they took me out of pain in no time. They explained to me in details how the procedure would go and what to expect. I had a Root canal in less than an hour. When I called for an appointment I was given same day appointment due to my pain. I definitely recommend the Dental Emergency Room for any one needs immediate access with best treatment. Thank you a lot for your immediate help.

I generally have extreme anxiety around dental visits. When I had a very painful tooth that had cracked, I had no choice but to set up a visit. I’m so glad I chose this clinic. Very clean and calming atmosphere, and staff was incredibly kind. They explained all my options in great detail, answered every one of my questions, and even showed me a price breakdown of my options with my insurance plan. The entire experience was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic.

I went in sometime last year to get all four wisdom teeth removed. They were able to see me THAT day of my initial consult. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Then yesterday I went in to have a broken tooth repaired. I have borderline crippling dental anxiety and when I told the dental hygienist she made ever effort to inform the dentist and make me comfortable. Throughout the whole procedure everyone involved was asking if I was okay, if I needed water or a blanket, as well as telling me I was in control of the situation and could take breaks at any time. Truly a warm environment that I’d be happy to go back to for any oral hygiene related issues. Not just the emergencies. Thank you to your whole team!

I went yesterday, waited one extra hr to be seen even with appointment, granted I had waited and 3 months I think. theeeeeeeeeeeeen, we start the process the dentist did not have a n assistant to help him. So he did a lot of work alone. Which then It took longer and we had to stop and wait on some stuff so he can get help, was there for about three and a half. I could tell the dentist was frustrated which he should be with situation. Sometimes we can control the circumstances so we do what we can. And that’s what the staff did from the front desk to the assistants that had to come in and out to help with the crown I was getting.

I’ve been to alot of medical/dental places in Minnesota now, and this by far was the best experience I’ve had compared to any of it. They were super kind, did not reschedule me or any appointment and helped me with my immediate needed tooth extractions. They constantly asked me how I was doing, made sure I was numbed and gave me prescriptions for the infection I had and pain. I appreciated their help so so so much.

My daughter broke a front tooth over the weekend. Because we were in the middle of the COVID 19 quarantine and most dental offices were closed, we had a difficult time finding somewhere to go. We were so lucky to find this clinic! The doctor is kind, compassionate, and very qualified. My daughter was given a temporary fix for that Saturday and then was given a root canal on Monday. Breaking a tooth was a very traumatic experience for her, but they were able to take care of it quickly and now she is very happy with the dental work. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC! IF I COULD GIVE IT MORE THAN 5 STARS I CERTAINLY WOULD!!! The team at the Dental Emergency Room in Edina is beyond wonderful. I, like most people, have avoided going to the dentist until I have an emergency. It is a combination of financial concerns and fear of how many problems my negligence has caused. But at this dental clinic they put my fears to rest and every experience has been positive. Everyone is so great to deal with, from the receptionist on the phone to the people who check me in (shout out to Marissa who was so wonderful to work with in helping me arrange my appointments and address my needs, it is because of her tremendous kindness, compassion, and helpfulness that I decided to choose this clinic and not even call the others on the list); to the head patient coordinator, Ghadeer, who also is so kind and understanding, and when she learned that I didn’t have insurance that covered the care I needed she told me that they would give me a discount (this is standard practice at this clinic – the primary goal is to help people, not make money); to Pratima, a licensed dental assistant who is kind and very competent at her job, as is her colleague Aimee. Then there is the dentist that I have had the pleasure of working with, Dr. Elton. He is very personable and fun to talk to, has a great sense of humor, and is extremely capable and knowledgeable. He did a great job correcting my various dental issues. He and Pratima worked seamlessly together as an excellent team. I also had the best dental cleaning I have ever had at this clinic (shout out to Heidi), and everyone there (and I literally mean everyone) is professional but relatable, extraordinarily intelligent, capable, and experts at what they do. I love the diversity among the employees, and they all seem to be gifted with an authentic and sincere sense of kindness and compassion. I cannot recommend the Dental Emergency Room in Edina strongly enough. I will keep coming here for my dental care and will now actually look forward to going to the dentist! Kudos to Dr. Bashar Alkabbani for creating a first class dental office with an inspirational and first rate team!

Highly recommend the Dental Emergency Room. My 4 year old daughter had a bad accident 2 weeks ago and fell on her two front teeth on our kitchen floor. We had to hurry up and get her somewhere otherwise she could have lost her two front teeth until her permanent ones came in. We called them and were able to get in right away. It was a bit of a drive but it was also was the closest place we could find. The whole team including the receptionist, billing, dental assistant and Dr were phenomenal. They did an amazing job making this whole situation as best as they could for us, especially our Daughter. So thankful for how well the whole procedure went (they had to re-implant and stabilize both of her teeth. The DocFor Shaun was able to get them placed back where they needed to be. Very caring, understanding staff. Thank you for taking care of our daughter and for the wonderful experience during this traumatic time for our family. She is one happy girl and I’m one happy Mommy 🙂

I needed emergency dental work during the stay at home order and they were able to fit us in right away, which was nice. We had called various other offices but with the weekend they were closed. I found the dental emergency room or Elegant dental by doing a quick google search for “same day walk-in tooth extraction “. I was able to get an appointment for that afternoon, on a FRIDAY. they accept my insurance, UCare. I rarely leave reviews but I’m really satisfied with how I was treated, Tim the dental Assistant was great, and most importantly I’m not having to suffer with throbbing pain 24/7. I’ll be back in a couple weeks for a cleaning and routine care. Thanks to the staff that worked with me.

I will be the first to admit that dentists arent my favorite people but this place is different. From the moment I walked in and was greeted I knew this was the right place for me. Doctor Deunes and her assistant Tim are so caring and laid back and don’t try make you feel like you are a object. Tim always kept a nice smile and cracks jokes, which makes the appointment feel so much relaxing. I went in and was nervous but Doctor Deunes and Tim took their time explaining everything to me and were willing to answer any questions, which made me feel so much better. The dental assistant Nafisa helped me throughout the entire process and brought me out of my anxiety when she could sense that I was nervous. We talked about our children and other things to keep my mind off of the dental extractions I was about to have. Dentist Duenes was great too, as I had one easy tooth, and one stubborn tooth. Both women worked patiently and calmly, until the process was complete. I am also receiving prompt responses to my aftercare questions via text. The place is classy and clean. I had an infected wisdom tooth, the pain was terrible, and it had been bothering me for some time…..the whole staff was fantastic and helpful, my doctor was very professional and skilled, and in this customers opinion is a men amongst boys in the dental industry. It was an extraction which is no fun, and I found myself wanting to shake his hand or high five him at the end. Great work and experience overall, the prices were very reasonable and they saw me first thing…..within an hour of calling I was in the chair being prepped for the procedure! I would use them 10/10 times again. Was the most pleasant dental experience ive had by far! Run, don’t walk to these people for your dental needs! You won’t regret it!

What is a vulnerable situation of an achy tooth was handled so personably by Dr.Alkabani and his staff. From start to finish everything was very gentle and laid out for me. I was worried because of the “Emergency” title that they would be overpriced, but they were the only place open on the weekend near me. They were able to break the payment into chucks and made the resolution navigable for my income. I got a root canal with modest discomfort. So relieved and highly reccommended!

Grateful I was able to get in on Black Friday evening to recement a crown that came off at just really not the best time. Not only are they convenient , but the Dr’s and staff are really great at what they do! Excellent work and care here from everyone and it is so much appreciated! Thanks to you all for all you do ! Highly recommend! Addition to above . Just want to say how thankful I am to have found Dr Alkabbani and DER.. I have now had a variety of experiences here from crowns to root canals, extractions , and I’m just in the process of doing an implant/bone-graft with membrane. My 10 yr old son has also had his first filling with Dr Alkabbani and the new water laser and it was completely pain free and my son thought it was “awesome”. Many reasons why someone would want to go to Dr Alkabbani and DER. I think they are worth mentioning to the person who has never been here who is looking for the place to go 1. I am very picky on chairside manner and really think a dentist being gentle , kind and considerate of patient comfort and needs is high on my personal priority and Dr Alkabbani has always been this.. He makes sure you are comfortable, never shames, and is just a pleasant person as is Aimee his assistant and the whole staff at DER. He also makes sure all of your questions are answered every time. 2. Painfree dentistry- literally, he will make sure it is painfree , that is one of his top priorities I am seeing in all my experience here. Due to past bad dental experiences I brace for pain sometimes, but then I’m pleasantly surprised there is none. 3. Competency, Dr Alkabbani and team really want the work to be perfect, and they will make sure it is. Asking several times and making sure the patient is comfortable with whatever is done during the process and the outcome. A dentist I highly respect gave me high recommendation to him and said he does wonderful dentistry and that is for sure. He has a lot of experience in many aspects of dentistry so you can just about get anything done here too! 4. Emergency dentistry.. well .. really he is the best emergency dentist to go to. the hours are the best, they get you in quick and relieve pain and are honest! You can’t go wrong.. 5. Kids dentistry. Really he is the best kids dentist in all my kids years, I felt very comfortable with my sons experience at DER. They cared about his comfort and made it a fun cool experience. He actually wants to get more fillings with the cool water laser. Sure is a lot different than my childhood experiences. Everyone at DER makes dentistry easy and something not to be feared or avoided. Its easy to get a convenient appointment and once again they are fair, honest and kind and really awesome. If you are looking for any type of dental work this is the place to go! Cannot recommend enough! sorry for the long review :). This is all coming from a previous dentally anxious person for years.

Great service, great people! Update: I just had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out and the procedure went amazingly well!
