Recently was looking for a new dental office, as I was looking through yelp reviews I found that this office had a lot of good reviews. I took a chance and went in for a dental and was very pleased with the services from the front desk people, a guy and a girl very nice people who helped me get all my information I needed, to the staff which was very nice to the Dr’s and younger Dr. who seen me and updated me on my teeth and what needed to be done. Also, the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth did a very great job Overall great experience and very family environment which I would  recommend more people and my family as well as they are looking for new dentist. Great job to the Doctors who are running a great dental office!

My first visit was in Fall of 2018. The staff gave me a “Tour”’of the space which I likened to a Private Jet – seriously! The open-space areas for treatment, decor, comfort & ease are just the beginning. The process of their endless variety of treatments is state-of-the-art. They are mindful of jittery patients (like me) & approach the issue with gentleness & compassion.  I typically get my quarterly-cleaning done by Adrineh Krikorian who is gentle & thorough with a professional & caring approach. I also appreciate that she never lets me leave without scheduling my next appointment well in advance!  It is clear to me they (the Dr.Howards) treat their staff AND patients as family. I would (& DO) recommend Dr.Alan Howard’s office to anyone looking for a great dental experience, words NOT typically used by patients putting off dental care! They ROCK!

I have been coming to Dr. Howard for over 20 years.  With his son joining the practice, you now have two options for receiving outstanding care for all your dental needs. I was particularly impressed this morning hearing Yoni chat with the young patients in the cubicle next to mine. His gentle conversation had a soothing way of putting the kids at ease. Combine the doctors with their particularly pleasant assistants and you have a wonderful dental office. Highly recommend this office.

Last Friday I needed a dentist in a hurry, and my regular dentist’s office was closed.  I called The Dental Office in Encino and they got me right in to see Dr. Howard.  He did an excellent job!  It was a totally positive experience, and I would definitely recommend them.

i have been with Dr. Howard for the past 20 years. he is a top notch. knowledgeable, sensitive , caring and above all he always thrives to bring the newest technology to his practice. from the moment you enter his office you are greeted with a smile by Christie the office manager. every person who works there gives you all the attention you expect and deserves. highly recommend him. try it, you would never go anywhere else. P.S my son comes from NYC just to be treated by Dr. Howard.

My son had a bad tooth infection, swollen cheek, and terrible pain. I was looking where to go to fix the problem. Hundreds of doctor’s and offices. But I saw his name, and told my son that we are going there. I had a feeling, we should go there. The doctor Alan did excellent job, and fix the problem.But we had no insurance, so I was worried about how much it will cost for us. And after all, when I asked the girl at front desk, how much we have to pay, she said that the doctor  not going to charge you. It’s hard to believe, but it’s true. I still shocked, thinking all day, how could it happen, in this era of money. We are very thankful to the doctor Alan , and all his friendly staff. May God bless you, and all your family.

I had a great experience at Dr. Howard’s office.  When entering he has a terrific staff and a beautiful office.  I was very impressed with how Dr. Howard utilized technology and recent seminars to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry to give me the best care.  He had technology in his office that allowed me to get my appointment done for a crown in a single visit that usually takes two.  He also produced for me a toothguard to stop grinding that he manipulated to give me the advantages of both the two leading technologies out there.  It is clear when you visit, Dr. Howard is not about volume of patients, but rather top quality of care.   I highly recommend him.

I I am very happy with Dr. Alan Howard … i’m a bit kind of sensitive when it comes with my teeth then I’ve only had one Dentist my whole life prior I am 36 years old and that Dr. Howard is very professional very kind very humble the staff is incredible very easy to make an appointment .. His hands are so gentle on them because I hate injections most of that again I’m saying I hate injections and every time he pinches me I can’t feel it .. I am telling you Dr is one of the best Dr since I’ve ever met and never worked with …. highly recommend it to everyone in the valley LA area!

I was referred to Dr. Simmons after an accident caused severe damage to my front teeth.  I was extremely apprehensive about treatment, as I had received unpleasant news from other dentists about the treatment process.  However, upon initial consult Dr. Simmons spent two hours with my husband and I reviewing all possible treatment options and long-term outcomes and I KNEW I had found the right dentist for me.After six months and a few pain free surgical procedures I have a perfect smile and my bite is properly placed.  I was fitted for an oral device to prevent nighttime teeth grinding and I sleep without any interruptions.   Each time I refer a friend or colleague to Dr. Simmons I always receive a thank you call and I know they will receive the exceptional care I did my first time visiting his state of the art facility and continue to receive every visit.  Thank you again Dr. Simmons and Tarzana staff.  

My recent visit with Dr. Yonatan Howard was a wonderful experience.  Not only did he explain every step of the treatment (which I really appreciated!) but also, I didn’t feel any discomfort or pain at all.  I felt relaxed and the whole staff was kind and friendly. I will not hesitate to recommend Dr. Howard to all my friends and family.

the office is beautiful.  the equipment high tech and the newest, the staff wonderful, and the doctors are amazing.  Dr. alan has been my dentist for several years, his son just joined him and what a personality.  Dr. Yonatan started treat my kids, who are 4 and 7 and they love him.  He placed a crown my 7 year old and  he is so proud.   Dr. alan placed veneers on my teeth 5 years ago and i can’t stop smiling…..they made me a different person.

What a wonderful experience I had at The Dental Office in Encino! I called regarding a dental emergency & Dr. Alan Howard himself spoke to me on the phone AND squeezed me in for a next day visit – the day before a holiday! Who does that??! From the minute I arrived, I was warmly welcomed at reception and felt very comfortable. The office is beautiful with state of the art equipment – not your ordinary, scary dentist’s office! TVs to watch while in the chair and a professional, attentive and friendly staff. Even the x-ray technician was amazing! Dr. Alan Howard is kind and gentle. Although I didn’t have any procedures performed yet, he reassured me and advised me regarding what I need to do for healthier teeth. I am so thankful I found Dr. Alan Howard and this wonderful practice. I know I will be taken care of here and am confident that they are the best of the best. GO to this dentist – you will be happy you did!!

Dear Friends, or to anyone with a tooth in their mouths. Hear me when I say I was (yes was) so very afraid to go to any dentist after a dental trauma that occurred years ago. After a year of debating with myself, God sent me Dr. Howard (the son). From the 1st phone call with the friendly receptionist, and the in person meeting I truly felt like Dr. Howard really cared, and wanted to help me. The DT’s had a ton of positive vibes which also really helped with any nerves. Everyone I encountered was very informative. Long story short, I have since been back twice in the last 3 weeks and the second time I was relaxed and knew what to expect. I was the biggest baby and now I can behave like an adult when it comes to dental care. In closing, I thank God for Dr. Howard and all the staff. Beautiful office with even more beautiful people. I cant wait till my 3 kids get to meet everyone. Thank you Dr Howard!!!!

I’ve been a patient for years. Both doctors are fabulous. They take their time with you, make you feel comfortable, and have a very light touch when they are working on your teeth. I trust both of these doctors and travel from Ventura to see them because, in my opinion, they are the best. The staff is great.

I called in the morning after I had an accident that broke off both front teeth. The staff was so caring and understood the urgency so they fit me in that day (within a few hours). Dr. Howard immediately placed composites and shaped and sculpted teeth from me so I didn’t feel pressure about my permanent fix options. He felt that if he talked about options and price while I had teeth missing, I would jump at it because of how desperate I would be to fix what is a pretty important feature of my face (especially being the front teeth). He also didn’t charge me for the composites and just asked that I think about what I really wanted to do. He was very sweet and compassionate. He provided his number if I had concerns and even asked that my Orthodontist cousin give him a call so he can explain the breaks and the cosmetic/treatment options. His friendly staff and himself gave several follow up calls to make sure I was not in any pain. I am happy to have found a new dentist and have been referring them to my clients since.

Would defiantly recommend to a friend, very highly competent and knowledgable. Every once in a while you find a dentist that cares about what he does and the work he is putting out not the bottom dollar. A dentist who cares go see them.

The best dentist office I’ve been to. Dr. Howard goes out of his way to please his patients! He is so knowledgeable and professional! The staff is very personal and friendly, the office is beautiful! I’ve been coming here for 2 years and I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone. The prices are on little higher side, but it’s worth every penny! I had experiences with “cheaper”dentists but in the end I wound up paying 3 times more to redo all the work they did wrong. You get what you pay for!!

I had a great experience at the Encino Dental office of Mr. Alan Howard. The receptionist and the stuff members are warm and welcoming. In the office the atmosphere is very friendly, made me feel comfortable.Doctor Alan Howard, is an amazing specialist, doctor in his heart and soul. I felt safe in very good hands.

Just got a check up, cleaning and filling done and wow!  This is an amazing office.  It is so beautiful and high end with waterfalls and fish tanks, tvs and massagers in the dental chairs. The staff was great. Kristy welcomed me when I came in and was so nice. The cleaning was easy and painless. Dr. Yoni Howard did my exam and showed me a blown up close up picture of my cavity (which I’ve been avoiding for the longest time).  He used a computer to make me a white porcelain tooth in one visit. Just amazing and I didn’t feel a thing.

Five stars does no justice in relation to the quality of work Dr. Alan Howard performs on a daily basis. All staff were extremely welcoming and ultimately, sufficiently minimized my anxiety. The office is modern, spacious, and overall very comforting. Dr Alan Howard himself is empathetic, welcoming and actually took the time to get to know me outside of my dental concerns. He was clear about my treatment options, swift, and professional. Needless to say I have found my new dentist and look forward to future visits.

I’m giving this place a glowing review because the people working there are really friendly and make you very comfortable, especially if you have any fear of the dentist. There’s a lot to like about this dentist’s office. The office is really nice in a great part of town.  The girls are super sweet and they made the experience far more comfortable.  They’re not just dental assistants, they’re people with a heart, and that matters “especially” when it comes to a dental office. And the doctor – Dr. Yonatan Howard (the younger of the two) – is very caring and took a lot of time to talk to me about my teeth and what kind of work I might need. He explained the science behind the xrays instead of just throwing out fancy terms and moving on. You can tell these people care about their craft, which is a big plus.

I will begin with the MOST obvious perk about this AWESOME office and that is Dr. Yonatan Howard…If i need to have my mouth open and listen to drills he is who i want to be looking at…yum..WHAT a HOT dentist!! But in all seriousness this office is the BEST dental office I have ever seen or could ever imagine. It looks like a spa, everything is clean, new and modern from the flat screen TV’s that each chair gets to the lap tops they offer you if you are waiting to be seen. The staff that greets you at the door are amazingly nice, everything is explained to you thoroughly, there are no hidden costs, no funny business. It really is a father and son dentist office, with 2 Dr. Howards who each really just love what they do and make going to the dentist…fun!!!

The physical office:  From the outside (located where Estitica salon used to be) is a bit colorful and goofy, but once you step inside you’ll be blown away.  The waiting room is very comfortable and open, the bathrooms are extremely clean and there are consultation rooms if you want to speak with Dr. Howard or his friendly staff privately.  Every chair has it’s own large flat screen with headphones.   Everything is very sleak and new.  There were digital X-rays with computer screens at each station and an intraoral camera so I could see what he was talking about on the TV.The staff: So friendly and nice.  They knew my friend’s family when I mentioned them.  Everyone just seemed so happy.Dr. Howard: So honest and caring.  We discussed the reason I came in and what I was looking for in dental treatment.  He went over his philosophy and any questions I had.  After the exam we went over the Treatment plan with me.  In a later appointment I needed a crown.  The whole process was painless and he has a machine in the office so the crown was ready that day.  The appointment took less than an hour.  That compares to my last dentist who needed 2 visits to crown a tooth(which had a temporary that broke twice btw).
