Nothing worse then pain from dental problems…so glad to have found Dr. Wu and his wonderful staff! Had been told by previous dental office to simply bite softly on sensitive side of mouth during Covid-19. Eventually, pain made it difficult to sleep and found Dr. Wu’s reviews on Yelp and I called office. The office manager, Margie, gave me the guidance needed to have my insurance transferred immediately so I could be seen right away. After my visit, Margie went over and beyond to get me root canal surgery set up outside their office’s insurance coverage. Once done, Dr. Wu did fantastic job with my new crown: wonderfully skilled, very gentle/ reassuring and uses the latest technology in dental care. Couldn’t be more satisfied with whole office and highly recommend!!!

Grand Opening! What first led me here was an advertisement, which my eyes spied, for the Grand Opening of The Dental Office of Long Beach. Being just the next freeway exit over, I decided to stop by & visit the facilities. Dr. Steven Wu, himself, gave me a brief tour, showing off all the new, state of the art equipment, including an HD full mouth x-ray & a crown fabrication machine. I detest standard bitewings, as they are uncomfortable & gag-inducing. Afterwards, I was given a ticket for a free meal from the Hot Dog on a Stick food truck, where I received a free corn dog & lemonade. Face painting & balloon animals entertained the kiddos, while a DJ pumped out the pop music. Everyone also received a travel toothbrush kit to take home. My experience with Dr. Wu was that I found him attentive & concerned with my individual needs. He has been practicing dentistry since 2013, having received his schooling at Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine. He prides himself on taking care of what needs to be done, but all with a gentle touch. The Dental Office of Long Beach is located in the Long Beach Towne Center, adjacent to Michael’s & on the right of European Wax Center. Parking is via a shared lot with other Towne Center businesses. Dr. Steven Wu is an exceptional dentist & I highly recommend him for your next appointment.

What an amazing experience!! Everyone here is super nice and everything is brand new. All of the equipment is state of the art PLUS 3 D teeth scanning machine that helped fix my teeth in one visit. Dr Wu is very attentive and very through in addressing my concerns. He is very personable and considerate that you can tell by the way he interacts with others. In addition, he helped to answer all my questions, very professional and treat me like his family. I felt no pain and got the VIP service here! I definitely recommend this dental office! Thank you to Dr Wu and the team for a truly wonderful experience!

I had the most easy and comfortable visit here! The staff were extremely understanding and patient with my questions when I walked in. +20 points for the cozy blanket they gave me during my check-up to make sure I felt as at-home as possible. 🙂 X-rays were quick and the assistant Desiree was super sweet. Dr. Wu gave me a thorough check-up and cleaned my teeth with a lot of care, pausing occasionally to ask me if everything was okay. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain things to me in laymen’s terms and in a patient manner (with my x-rays and visuals), welcoming any need for clarification. I had a great experience and I’m happy to have found my new dentist! Definitely consider coming here if you’re looking for a welcoming and knowledgable provider who cares about his patients.

I was referred to this Dental Office by a friend of mine, I had an unexpected dental emergency and was terrified of getting my wisdom tooth out but Dr. Wu made my procedure so smooth, and comfortable he is very informative and overall educated me about how important oral health is! The staff here is exceptional and very efficient. Every appointment has been very flexible with my schedule given that I live about 25 miles away but I definitely don’t mind the drive! I am very happy and satisfied with the service and definitely recommend this place!

Dr. Steven Woo is a young professional that I’m thrilled to have met. His office is new as is his state of the art equipment. My belief is that the best doctors are gifted, talented and up to date with their practice. Indeed, he is all three. His manners, genuine care and respect for his patients is unmatched. His support staff of Anton, Desiree and others, are all outstanding as well. I had an incredible experience and you will too. He gets my highest recommendation and I’m done looking for the best dentist because I finally found him. His associate Dr. Jen the pediatric dentist, is amazing too. She is in the sister office.

All the staff were really nice in checking me in smoothly from the beginning to taking thorough X-rays of my teeth, to cleaning and helping me understand what parts I did right and what parts I could work on to have the best dental hygiene. Dr. Wu was very knowledgeable and quickly identified which parts of my teeth had plaque and tar and how to properly clean them on the computer screen. He was also very gentle during my cleaning and also ensured me that I can stop at any time if I ever needed to take a break. In the end, I felt very comfortable and at ease with no pain, and I definitely learned a lot from him compared to other dentists in the past. Thank you again Dr. Wu for answering all my questions, and I’ll see you again in six months!

It was my first time coming into the office and my first cleaning in about 2-3 years. The office was extremely clean and I felt safe the entire time (I went during COVID). Dr. WU was so kind and explained everything to me. I was also able to get fitted for a night-time mouth guard since I grind my teeth at night. It was overall a good dentist experience, especially since I hadn’t been in a while and needed extra care. The prices are fair too. I would highly recommend going here for any dental needs.

This is easily the best dental office I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Dr. Wu makes the experience extremely comfortable and made me feel at ease during my visit. The office is clean and modern, they embrace technologies that make the entire visit go smoothly, and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable at a dental office. The staff is very knowledgeable and down-to-earth, and going here feels like visiting longtime friends instead of just another trip to the dentist. This establishment really sets the standard on how a business should be ran and I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

Strongly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a new cleaning office. The staff was great & Dr Wu explained everything to very clearly, he made my dental experience wonderful. I felt very comfortable!! Love this place!

It has been 10+ years since I’ve gone to the dentist. Not because of lack of insurance, rather because I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. Unfortunately, after two kids, I could tell my teeth were changing, and not in a positive way. I learned about the Dental office of Long Beach through my insurance and from yelp and decided to take a chance… and I am soooooooo glad I did. Dr. Wu is absolutely amazing!!! He explained everything in detail and was so patient with me and my fears. I recommend him and his office 100%. Everyone was so positive and put me at ease. I had a deep cleaning today and if I ever have to do it again, I only trust going to Dr. Wu.
