The Good: I have had bad experiences with dentist and this place is a wonderful breath of fresh air. The staff is professional, courteous and kind. I had some issues with my insurance and they worked them out for me in a timely manner. The offices are clean and the technology is up to date. The Meh: it took a while to check me in my fist time, but that’s at any dentist. The Bad: parking is a little weird. on google maps there seems to be a parking connected to the alley, but i’m not sure if that’s employee only. luckily i live a few blocks away, so i just walked there. otherwise i would probably elect to park on the street

When I quit doing drugs on May1st 2009 I received a grant for a set of dentures. I went to Francine Jackson because a few of my friends that I went through the recovery program with told me how happy they were with them. Well the gave me my first set of dentures. NEW LIFE NEW SMILE. I had a great start on my sobriety. the dentures fit so well that I never used adhesives to hold them in. After 7 years of sobriety with my denture we had to part. I broke them. They were getting worn out. Had to get news ones a few months ago. I live in Fullerton, Ca. now, and Francine Jackson is pretty far away. I had company coming from Florida in a couple weeks and had no teeth. I called them the had me come in right away. All the same awesome staff where there. They always made me feel like part of the family on my visits. They rushed my paperwork through got me approved for new dentures. Oh by the way if you are on medical you should be able to get NEW DENTURES for free around every 5 years. I’m not 100% sure on that but no harm in checking. The new ones fit great no adhesive needed. So many people tell me what a great smile I have. It should really be what a great smile Francine Jackson gave you. Oh I did start to check other places because the drive was so far. They told me it would be 3 months to get approved, plus I didn’t feel happy when I was there. TRUST ME, YOU WILL FEEL HAPPY AT DENTAL SALON. YOU WALK IN WITH A SMILE AND WALK OUT WITH EVEN A BETTER SMILE. THANK YOU Francine Jackson !!! Probably see you in around 5 or 6 years when its time for my new set. I have never recommended nor cared to recommend a Dentist office to anyone. Not only have I recommended and brought in numerous family members to The Dental Salon, I have also sent coworkers and clients. The office is always decorated beautifully and very clean, the staff is extremely warm and Dr. Jackson is absolutely amazing. She doesn’t only do what is recommended or standard she goes beyond and educates you about your teeth and care. Irma is at the front and she has an amazing personality and always make sure you’re taken care of. Arlen does the x-rays and she is a doll. She makes the experience quick and enjoyable. Most importantly the prices are extremely reasonable and they accept Care Credit !! It is extremely hard to find a dentist office that is affordable, enjoyable, trust worthy and The Dental salon is that and so much more. Thank you!

We followed her from the dental group to her own private practice. We would not let anyone else work on our teeth. I have continued going to the Dental Salon since being back in L.A. for awhile. I finally met Dr. Jackson and she is an excellent clinician as well as very caring and concerned. Very thorough. Shows everything on the camera and explains in basic terms what is going on, if anything. She pays attention, just like my old dentist I had gone to for most of my life. It turns out that they have a mutual colleague, but I’m not surprised, the good ones usually know each other. She is professional and will also follow up to see how you are feeling after a procedure. If there is something she feels is not within her expertise, she will tell you that, and why.And will tell you who she is referring you to based on that decision. The best doctors and dentists are the ones who are honest with their patients about what they realistically can and cannot do for them within their specialty, and refer to specialists. All do not. Because of this, I really like this office and they are also very upfront with costs, insurance and whatever else is needed. I’m staying with Dr. Jackson and The Dental Salon!

I’m a new patient for this office. Denisha was my introduction to this office and she provided amazing customer service. She is so nice and helpful. By the end of my call, I had my first appointment scheduled and I was excited to visit the office. Today was my first appointment. I was treated like royalty from the time I walked in to the time I left. Everyone took extra precautions to keep me safe and my service was done professionally and without pain. Previous dental provider was Smilecare and those of you experience them knows they say you need everything. I went to Smilecare approximately 6 months before coming to The Dental Salon. Smilecare said I needed all types of work done. When I came to the Dental Salon I found her to be honest and I didn’t need all that work Smilecare stated. The staff here is awesome. Honestly, it’s not that my teeth are bad, but I do wish my brushing practice as a small child would have been more consistent. Nevertheless, thankfully Dr. Jackson and her team are here to maintain the parts of the teeth I still have. Dr. Jackson trained at UCLA and has been here in LB for a dozen years. Her love of general dentistry is palpable, which is vital for any doctor! When doctors don’t love their job patients suffer. Finding this office was a blessing. Her office is close enough to DTLB that I feel bad for not biking. The staff here is fantastic, professional, nice, and gentle. Everyone truly cares about the health and look of my teeth and my comfort. For most, the dentist’s office is a place of pain, anxiety, and stress. The Dental Salon is a welcomed departure from the norm. I have never laughed so much in a dental chair. Since good oral health coorelates with good overall health, regular visits with the dentist are crucial!

I have to definitely give credit where credit is due. Last month I went online to find a dentist near my house after cancelling 4 dental appointments with other dentist. I found the Dental Salon’s website and went online and submitted a request for an appointment. After submitting my request I went on their Facebook and Instagram page and I thought to myself ” wow this place is amazing.” One day later I was contacted by Lourdes to schedule and appointment and also another young lady that was so sweet . They scheduled me the following week for x-rays and a light cleaning . When I went to my appointment I felt like I was at home I met Dr. Jackson, Dr. Sartorious, Irma, and a few other ladies that were so sweet and caring. They did my X-rays I do need a lot of work however they were very thorough in their explanation of what is needed. Fast forward to today and I had my root canal with Dr. Sarotorious and the procedure was seemless I am in very little pain. In short if you are scared of the dentist like me please go see these lovely ladies they will take care of you !!!

While I’m still a “high-maintenance“ client, they *never* make me feel that way and it feels like visiting a trusted friend or family member. I can honestly say that they take joy in helping people and I always, always leave them with a smile on my face that’s just as much because of the excellent work as it is the laughter shared.
