I just had my first visit to their Dentist office, and I was Absolutely blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the customer service and then overall care the staff showed while I was there. During my visit, Ivy kept me informed of what was going on with my teeth, and spent plenty of time making sure I knew everything I needed to know about how to keep my teeth healthy, and even gave me brushing tips. She was so friendly, so awesome, and I am so glad I was referred to this practice. I would definitely recommend everyone to check them out, and ask for Ivy!

Dr O’Neal has been my dentist for 7 years. I’ve had a lot of dental issues that he’s helped me with and helped me find specialists that I needed. His staff at both offices is so genuinely caring and everyone’s bedside manner is better than anywhere I’ve been. Between the two offices, his availability for appointments is great.

The best dentist and team!! Thank you! Cassandra referred me since we met at the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce. It was a great visit and the dentist was detail oriented and friendly — and also spot on with advice about getting an implant in the future. Ivy was very friendly and thorough with my cleaning which was the most detailed cleaning I’ve ever had. She gave me lots of advice and recommendations which I really appreciate. And, of course Cassandra is amazing and so helpful. I’ll be back. Also, safety protocols were in place so I felt comfortable going there too.

I could not say enough good things about The Family Dentist, they are called The Family Dentist because they care for patients of all ages , however I think it is because they truly treat everyone just like family. Above and beyond my routine dental care, I was also fitted for a night guard that I never would have thought I needed ,but it has changed my sleep forever I finally wake up well rested all because Dr. O’Neal noticed a problem I didn’t even know I had! Last but not least, I just experienced my first Zoom Teeth Whitening they were sure to walk me through the entire process and made sure I was always comfortable. The Family Dentist is the best!

After being in the dental field for so long as a dental assistant , I find it very difficult to find a good dentist to go to for my dental work. I’m new to this area and of course being a yelper , I went to yelp to find a dentist. I came across Dr O’Neal and he had a 5 star rating which I thought was too good to be true. Especially because he’s only 5 minutes away. Long story short I broke a tooth 2 days ago and had to make an appointment ASAP and the staff at this office got me in right away and everything was done in a timely manner. I had my appointment today and I have to tell you how great of an experience it was. I’m lucky, and am not afraid of the dentist so the experience is a little easier for me , but for others I’m sure this Dr will put a smile on your face and also be completely honest with you. Which is so hard to find these days with dental professionals. He even helped me out when I really needed it with the treatment plan. He was able to explain everything to me and even showed me pictures to see what he’s working with. He and his assistant both were very kind and humorous throughout the whole appointment. I ended up needed a buildup crown , and the whole procedure was absolutely painless. I actually was talking and laughing throughout. I mean , who can say that about their dental visit?! In just my one appointment I can tell that he really cares about his patients and wants to do what’s best. And I definitely admire that and appreciate that. Unfortunately I don’t know if they will be able to take my insurance in January , but let me tell you, even if they don’t , I’m going back. He was THAT good! So if you’re in the area and need a great dentist, he’s definitely worth a SHOT (lol) a little dental humor.

Dr. O Neal Is a very caring and dedicated professional. His knowledge is up-to-date and he works ceaselessly until the result is perfect. I recently developed a problem over the Memorial Day weekend and I called the office. The recording gave me Dr. Oneal’s home phone number which I called. He called me right back and ordered the medicine I needed. He assured me that I should come in first thing after the weekend and he would take care of the problem. I was very impressed with his level of concern and follow-through. Thank you Dr. O’Neal!

Best Dentist in the Bay Area no contest. Great person, great staff, nice work. My dentist on Mac-dill (South Tampa) of 15 years misdiagnosed a filling he’d done years ago and scheduled it to be redone a week later. The pain grew, I called and that dentist couldn’t get me in. A friend recommended me to Dr O’Neal. I was able to get into to see Dr O’Neal within 24 hours. After an X’ray and 2 minutes of examination, Dr Oneal found the tooth broken. A terrible diagnosis but after surgery knew I’d found the right dentist moving forward for my family of 5.

Dr. O’Neal and his staff are absolutely top notch. They are caring, professional, knowledgeable and the nicest people! I am so lucky to have found them because for the longest time I was a complete coward about dental care, but they take the time to educate about different issues, are very patient and care about the patient’s comfort. They have Monday through Friday hours and their beautiful office is immaculately clean and organized and has plenty of parking in the shade. They make reminder calls and have goodie bags of toothbrushes, floss and paste. Dr. O’Neal does charity dental work in Haiti and other impoverished areas and offers special dental care programs for local kids. Dental hygienist Debbie is excellent; she is genuine and caring and extremely knowledgeable and she takes the time to teach and to answer questions. Office manager Julie is kind and patient and very approachable. Sometimes there’s cake in the office. Bring your own fork. I actually look forward to my appointments because the staff feels like friends. I highly recommend Dr. O’Neal and his staff to anyone who wants a good dental experience and is interested in keeping their teeth. If you are a football fan or want to see dental memorabilia, this is also the place for you. Just don’t ask how they feed the virtual fish.

I am so thankful for Dr. O’Neal and his staff. They did the zoom whitening for me prior to my wedding day, and I cannot be happier. I actually am visiting them next week for my teeth cleaning! So thankful to have found just a great family dentist!
